A very nice experience. Make sure to wear suitable footwear such as trainers as paths can be difficult to climb or slippery ( depending on the weather ). I had a fun time climb walking up and down and the view was beautiful. Inside the castle was very interesting.

£28 to visit the castle/gardens, and £3 for the boat. I've always wanted to visit here, and glad that I finally have. I think it is overrated. The parking situation is a nightmare. The walk over the causeway was the only fun/interesting part. The walk upto the castle wasn't particularly challenging or difficult as I am able bodied, but several people did seem to find it challenging on such a hot day. Anyone with mobility or health issues will need to reassess visiting, as there are no wheelchair routes/ramps and the ground in several places is loose/cobble/rocky, with large steps and often you have to scramble up parts of the path. The shops are staggeringly overpriced, and we avoided buying anything from them. The garden was predominantly a large selection of succulents and palms with nothing of interest. The castle, wasn't particularly interesting with only a small potion of it accessible. The "gallery" they have on the way out had some interesting pictures/paintings but no information to give context to them. You can quite easily walk around the garden and castle within an hour. As others have mentioned, the causeway is tidal so make sure you are aware of the times as several people did get caught out while we were there.

St Michael’s Mount is amazing, the short boat ride to the Island followed by a short walk to the top gave beautiful views of the mainland. The castle and church and small are beautiful and very well maintained. My only tip would be to turn up early as it gets very busy once the tide goes out and walkway becomes usable.

Very beautiful historical site, and an enjoyable walk when the weather is right. Although I’d definitely avoid when rainy or windy. Went on a bank holiday Monday and there were quite a few rude tourists around which was unpleasant, but didn’t sour the experience for my family. The price for entry is very dear for what you get, but if you enjoy history, a good walk, or a beautiful view of the city then it is definitely worth it! (Plus, if you’re lucky you can see seals just outside the island!

Simply beautiful!! Be aware of a few things, I came in a rainy day, at 9.45 am the tides were off until 2pm-ish but not to worry you can take the boat back if you missed the walk back. Anyway, the road to the castle involves old made stairs out of rock which can be slippery if you don't have proper shoes, Okies am uneven terrain as well. It takes about 10-15 minutes up the castle. The views are stupendous 😁 I came when the gardens were closed, sad, I've read good thing about it, but next time I'll check when they're open so I can visit again.

It’s brilliant here! Keep an eye on the tide times so you can walk over the causeway, otherwise you need to get a boat. We had National Trust memberships so got to visit the castle for free. We went in the first week of September and dogs weren’t allowed, so just double check if it is out of season. Lots to do and see, and the castle is beautiful! Quite a few steps to go up and it’s very steep, so also worth bearing in mind.

What a beautiful place to be able to visit, yes it's hard work walking up to the castle but it is worth every step. The views from the castle are breathtaking. We took the boat over to the castle and we walked back along the causeway. Without a doubt the best national trust place we have visited to date, and we have visited many!

My son and I had a great time today. It was his first time out on a paddle board and with some tips from Lawrence into the sea he went with the board and his trusty wetsuit. I hired a kayak and went out with him. Both of us were out for one hour but we will probably book for a longer time on our next visit. Great fun highly recommend.

I went paddle boarding for the first time in Marazion and had an incredible time! The weather was perfect, the sea was crystal clear, and we even caught a glimpse of a seal swimming near the rocks — such a special moment. Our instructor, Lawrence, was absolutely brilliant — really knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience fun and relaxed. He gave us great tips and was a pleasure to have with us on the water. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend giving this a go. The location is absolutely stunning — there’s really nowhere else like it!

Owner took me, my son (12) and daughter(8) paddle boarding for the first time. He was extremely patient with my 8 year old and made the whole experience relaxed, enjoyable and fun. This was one of my favourite parts of the holiday. Would highly recommend.

I booked a beginner SUP lesson for me and my three sons aged 14, 10 & 8. Lawrence & Pete were outstanding throughout. They were both very knowledgeable and patient. We had a fantastic time and I would recommend a lesson to anyone.

The tastiest smashed burger I have eaten. I have eaten a lot of burgers over my fifty or so years on this planet. I booked the family and friends in online for 1 round of burgers and drinks. After tasting the burger, we had to have another round. I went in for thirds. In the same week I also ate at a burger place not too far away. It was larger but lacking the same level of flavour. If I hadn't tasted Hoxtons' burger first I would of been very happy with it. We're all booked in online again for burger and beer on the last night of our holiday. 3 x double cheeseburgers for me, here I come!

Whilst in Marazion we stopped at the Hoxton Special. Great service, and amazing hot chocolate and coffee. Loved it so much we went back for burger and decks night on the Friday evening. Smashed burgers were amazing and again excellent service.

I’m losing track of how often we’re going here since having it recommended to us. Perfect location down from the car park next to a quiet stretch of beach with stunning Mount views. This place provides a great little paddle boarding break for hot drinks (oat milk flat white is a go to) and lunch (salmon bagel is really tasty) or a cake on the beach or at their little tables outside the hut. Can’t beat the generous portion of ice cream either which is perfect with caramel sauce and a flake. Service is fantastic too, especially the guys at the coffee shop. They are the reason we got into and love SUPs now and for that we’ll always be grateful!

There's some limited parking on the road. When I park there I can cycle or walk along the coastal path to Penzance or into Marazion. There is a Pay and Display car park and cafes nearby. It's a shortish walk to a bus stop in Longrock outside the shop and post office, or just a little further along. So catching the bus into Penzance is another option. The beautiful pools and marshes are home to many birds and other creatures. The beaches, sea, views, clean air and access to public toilets and other basic needs make this place special for me. The Cornwall Wildlife Trust are interested to hear of unusual sightings at Longrock Pool and Marazion Marsh.

Nice place for view, was there early morning and I was able to get some nice shoots. Cross road you have nice big car park and beach access.

It's a lovely spot viewed from the road but access is limited and parking relies on paid for public parking.

Beautiful, beautiful setting. Can spend hours here just watching the scenery and people.

Lovely gifts and items but a tad to expensive in my view . Beautiful stuff , there's no denying but a little to overvalued. Layed out nicely, lovely service and greeting from the owners lad , I believe ... Local items mostly , I believe, which I do like because it's homegrown and not the nasty Chinese plastic. Getting a little something different and supporting local business and crafter's is the way forward and achievable here but as I said maybe a little overpriced in some instances .

Visited on 15/05/24. Beautiful Church with gorgeous stained glass windows and many traditional features. Absolutely loved the embroidered kneeling pads. There is also an Artisan Market 10-4pm on Wednesday and Thursdays.

When visiting Michael Mount we stopped of at this church and I have to say the art work inside is gorgeous and it was so lovely welcoming and warm you can smell the old oak beams from above, it was very spiritually uplifting and we prayed for a safe journey home and got home safely a truly lovely church or British and Cornish history
