This is so wonderful. Came from Edinburgh for a day out with my boyfriend and can honestly say it has been a delightful experience. I've been to a few aquariums, and this one did not disappoint in terms of species variety and exhibition. The staff are all enthusiastic and friendly, and the food in the cafe was lush. Prices are a bit steep but the cost is understandable, and in my opinion 100% worth it. I love fishes :)
Highly recommend for birthday parties!!! We were treated like V.I.Ps and they made my 7 year old daughter feel extra special. Unlike some birthday party places around Edinburgh, we had a very kind and friendly woman (Hope) stay with us the entire time and take the group on a tour around. We got the best space to watch the seals feeding with the lovely Abigale welcoming "our very special guest". We then had Hope lead us to the classroom where she gave everyone a great educational experience. The kids loved her as she was engaging and fun. We then went down to the tunnel where they had an underwater sign saying Happy Birthday Nora 7. When it came to food, the team helped out and Hope stayed on top of juice refills and making sure we were all happy. She was very attentive. All staff helped to make this whole experience wonderful from the lovely gentleman who welcomed us on arrival to the cafe who were serving with a smile and friendly banter. I highly recommend Deep Sea World for birthday parties. Thank you for an amazing experience.
Been before so grandparents knew what expect Great displays of fish and creatures to keep the kids happy plus spending our money in the shop. They enjoyed the carousel that takes under the water so you can look up at the fish and sharks swimming overhead. Friday afternoon so fairly busy but we did manage to park.
It was a lovely little place that my 2 little ones really enjoyed. It is all accessible and has low tanks for little ones to be able to see. Has great information around as well. Only downside is that it is quite small and the downstairs walk through you cant take a pushchair through so you have to carry your little ones
My son was really happy. I expected there would be fewer animals, but it turned out to be really cool. There were the animals my son likes the most, like axolotls, seahorses and especially seals
An amazing day out for myself and my 8 year old daughter. Interactive talks every half an hour and lots of information throughout. Food is very good, with a great selection of choice, and although it was busy (lunchtime) we didn't wait long at all.
Great day out! The underwater tunnel is so relaxing if you get it when it's quiet. Lots of happy fish and the staff were lovely too, open to questions and telling us about the individual fish. Some freshwater monster fish too, amazing to see the adult sizes of species that used to be common aquarium fish - loved the pacus! The seal feeding was great too, and the Mysis shrimp in the tunnel/tanks were fascinating to see.
Good trip out with a good selection of things to see. Quite expensive though if there's a few of you and you don't have offers to get in. Various Feeding events/talks etc every 30 mins through the day. Free all day parking and place has a cafe and gift shop.

This is a stunning bridge, worthy of a visit to photograph. Parking is a little tricky to get the best spot, and the free car park they have shuts at 9pm and locks you in, charging you to exit so don’t get caught out.
If you ever get the opportunity to experience the top, do it! This was done as a birthday surprise for me and I absolutely love it! From the start to the top, you go through the history to an open top experience! An unforgettable experience it was and I'll definitely be doing it again!
Visiting the forthbridge was a wonderful experience. I was amazed by it's unique structure and how well it represents Scottish engineering. I was so impressed by by how huge and strong it looks. The view from there was amazing ,especially with the water and the trains passing over the bridge.
The Forth Bridge is not only an incredible feat of engineering but also one of Scotland’s most iconic landmarks. Watching the bridge at sunset is breathtaking – its massive structure looks both powerful and elegant. The viewpoint at South Queensferry is perfect for photos and a peaceful walk along the shore. A must-see for anyone who loves history, architecture, or simply beautiful scenery.
A magnificent piece of infrastructure. Viewing this incredible bridge from North Queensferry was a great experience. I just stood and looked at the bridge for long. While looking at it, one cannot stop thinking about how this bridge was built. The engineers at the time did a fantastic job.
The Forth Railway Bridge was opened in 1890. It is an engineering wonder. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in July 2015. I have crossed it many times on the train but to stand on South Queensferry Pier is a privilege. I would now like to see it from North Queensferry but that will be another time.
We went on a trip to see the Forth bridges and it was well worth it. To be up close to the railway bridge and hear and see the trains going across was special. Because the bridge is all metal you hear the trains across the whole length. We started on the south side then crossed the newer road bridge which in its self is quite spectacular to see the railway bridge from the other side. You get to see how close the houses are built under the bridge. On the south side there is the Bikers Cove cafe that we stopped at and got a coffee and something to eat. Well worth going too, nice friendly people and good food. Steve and Jenny.
Cycled across from Rosyth but stopped coming and going to get pics and vids, dull morning that turned into a very good day. Lots of walkers ,joggers, pram pushers and cyclists . Stopped at the view point which was busy with tourists coming off the buses. Toilets and a kiosk are very handy

Wonderful to see this unique Light Tower up close but sadly didn’t get to see inside as it was closed but used the QR code on museum to get an idea. Museum next to it. No parking but recommend you use Battery Road car park which also has toilet. Also worth exploring the surroundings for the wells, the bay, slip way and lovely historical buildings while you are in North Queens Ferry.
A real gem of a find, definitely worth a visit
Brilliant wee lighthouse. We were surprised by the number of mementos in the little museum next to it. A fantastic spot for a bit of history with breathtaking views of the bridges, depending on the weather of course ;)
I seen the light tower as a potential place to visit yesterday and took the good weather today as the ideal opportunity to drive through. The light tower is in absolutely great condition with a small donation box as you walk in. Make sure and contribute to keep these little gems up and running. I have seen many Stevenson lighthouses but this was my first ever opportunity to get inside and have a hands on experience. The windows give you a good opportunity to get some framed shots of the surrounding scenery. It takes literally seconds to get to the top where there are information boards to tell you more about the structure and the location of the other Robert Stevenson structures. Great experience for adults and kids alike. Definitely will be back with my little ones soon.
End of the road is a turning point, park elsewhere and walk round, the view is stunning, go down the pier a little, opening the views to the road bridge and the stunning Queensferry crossing, lighthouse is small but perfectly formed, enjoy the view from up inside, don't forget to leave a donation....enjoy
Museum is a little miss leading lol. It's a very small lighthouse. You used to he able to go in to it, but last I visited it, you couldn't. The view here though is stunning. We'll worth an hour or 2 just relaxing and taking in the view.
Fun little place to visit if youre in the area
Fabulous little gem hidden under that shadow of the Forth Bridge. I loved the fact you could climb up in side and check out the lamp and read the history (and for free too!). The kids loved climbing the stairs and using the binoculars. Well worth tracking this little tower down if you’re in the area.

We have crossed the bridges so many times on trains and in cars but have never seen it by water. Highly recommend this as an option for locals and tourists (like us). Leanne gave us an incredible tour, where we were able to see puffins and seals, lots of sea birds, and she told us about all the bridges. Weather was iffy but we were warm and dry and the boat ride was comfortable and safe. Thank you for such a great experience!
I and a bunch of pals over 60, all inexperienced fishermen, went on a mackerel fishing trip for to hours with Forth Sea Safaris. It was great experience, the crew were very helpful to people who didn't know one end of the rod from the other. One guy's 90 year old father came with us and they made him feel welcome too. For people of our age the onboard loo was a welcome bonus! The mackerel were very obliging too I have to say. Great trip.
My wife and I took a tour around the firth. The trip took in the 3 bridges, local landmarks, nature, and history, all in a fast boat. It was just the 2 of us on the trip and we had a great time. We will be doing it again next year.
Great Family Boat Tour! A birthday pressie for my 15 yo boy, we had an amazing time: the views of the bridges, going under the bridges (!), watching the seals swimming near us, and seeing the shoreline from the 'other' side. Leanne was friendly and very knowledgeable, making the whole experience very enjoyable. It was the perfect way to spend quality time together and take in the beauty of the area. Highly recommend!
Fantastic time with Leanne, who was knowledgable and very funny. We saw Puffins, Seals and had a great experience on the water, looking at the local landscape, islands and, of course, the bridges. Really fun and well worth doing.
Fantastic Tour with Leanne. Would recommend to everyone staying in the area. Even our fifteen year old teenagers thought it was really cool 😎😎 what a compliment 👍
I booked a mackerel fishing trip with all my family. It was a great day we catch lots of fish the crew was very helpful. We really recommend Forth Sea Safaris
recently had the three bridges tour as part of a stag do. It was brilliant, the tour guide/driver was really fun and interesting. The views and boat were great as well. Would highly reccomend this to anyone!

I was there to collect my mum from a funeral purvey. The people there were very friendly and I bumped into my cousin there! I did not see the Sanctuary but it's got a lovely vibe and atmosphere about it.
The Church of Scotland is situated at 121 George St, Edinburgh EH2 4YN, UK
Very surprised to discover that I could review an office! I have to say that having worked in the building and having met my wife here I am happy to give a five star review. I suspect that some of the other reviews are for another location (St Mary's Cathedral is one candidate).
Great place, fantastic sermon, and passionate preacher. However, too many pictures of some bearded man being murdered on the walls. Quite depressing in the end.
Wonderful building full of excellent people facilitating the ministry of the Church of Scotland, bringing the good news of God to the people of Scotland and beyond.
Wonderful friendly staff who were more than happy to help with all enquiries. I will be back again soon.
The Church of Scotland is a living, breathing organisation that exists to worship God and show God's love to its neighbours.
Nice place. The street and the church makes a good photo spot!
