Nature at its best, a gem. I think there could be more information on notice boards about the birds you can see, but take a bird app on your phone and it listens to the bird calls and identifies, it's incredible how many species inhabit this wonderful area
Always a beautiful place to walk and see the birdlife. When the rice fields are intermittently flooded throughout the season it encourages many species of wader and the masses of tall reeds give safe refuge for a variety of other birdlife.
Clean beautiful water from the 'hot' spring. Easy to swim and a lot warmer than the sea in November! Well worth a visit. The restaurant is nice, we had drinks only
Ah, a couple hours of peace and quiet, away from the bars, restaurants and crowds. Not just a haven for birds (herons, ibis, waders and warblers) but also for butterflies, dragonflies and damselflies. Delightful.
Great place for a walk in nature, especially with dogs, but the paths & board-walks can be submerged in/after wet weather. Popular with bird watchers. It's possible to park & walk a way to enter Font Salada from the back, thus avoiding the difficulties parking near the Font which can get busy.
Great spot for birdwatching
Wonderful place to visit, watch out for mozzies
Beautiful for walking the dogs....

Easy walk up. Only open occasionally. Stunning views over Forna, best visited on weekends when the neighbouring quarry isn't open.
nice ancient castle. lovely place to visit with kids. even the nature and surrounding area is beautiful to watch to. the castle is open from 8am to 2pm. during the summer months to hot for visiting.
A very impressive castle on a round trip tour from Pego where the tourist information centre staff were very helpful. We toured in our own car and followed the TI advice to drive anticlockwise. The hills on the southern section have been devastated by forest fires
Visited as part of an extended hike so was there before opening. Still worth the short climb up the hill as fabulous views and a real feeling of history. Terrific walking in the area as well.
Interesting little castle which is free to go round. Only open on Sundays from 10 - 2, sign at the entrance says something about guided tours on certain days. Note that if you cycle from Oliva, google takes you on a "via piste" (track) but part of the track at the top of the hill was washed away, you can get past but not the easiest route but worth the effort.
Only open on Sunday between 11am and 1pm. Charged 2 Euro per head, children and adults same price. If you want the tour guide to take you round then it's 3 Euro and probably worth it, but it is only in Spanish. Drive to the highest point you can, then there is a small parking lot and you cannot go any further. Walk up is about 5 mins and very steep, and entrance is via large locked doors, just knock and the guide will come and open for you. Try to spot the bats in the stable (ground floor). I nice visit, great views, probably spent 45 mins there, good to visit if you are passing by on a Sunday....
Not open on Mondays, as suggested by Google. Probably not open even on Sundays, according to the many comments. But it is still a majestic small castle at the top of a hill with nice views. A few mintes of walking up a steep road from the carpark.
Cafe at the bottom car park, not open but impressive.
