One of the most beautiful beaches of the island, crystal clear water and nice thick sand. A lot of the beach area is covered by annoying paid umbrellas (also very expensive) but sufficient space for placing your own equipment
Fantastic beach! One of the best on the island and perfect for kids. Super clean water, good sand, decent restaurants close by and bus stop is right in front.
Beautiful beach. Crystal clear water very fine sand. No rocks, no algae. About 1km wide. Plenty of sun beds for rental around 25-30 euros for a pair with umbrella. Lots of shops and restaurants around. Great place for a day at the beach. Lots of families.
Nice looking beach. Though, all the good Spots are managed and you have to pay between 30-50€ per sun bed.
Don't bother looking for a better beach and crystal clear turquoise water on the whole island, Agios Prokopios is the best and it also offers something for everyone. For those who like to completely undress and sunbathe in the nude, they are also free to do so.
Beatiful beach. You can rent sunbeds for 2 persons for the whole day in the first row for 25 euros. (There are places where it costs twice as much.) The water is crystal clear. You can find a few fishes if you snorkle, but you have to search for them.
I’ve been visiting Agios Prokopios in Naxos for 6 years now, and it’s always been such a beautiful beach. But honestly… what’s going on with all the chairs and sunbeds lately? People please come to the beach to enjoy the beach, sun, sea, not to feel like you’re in a pool bar. It’s getting a bit too much when you actually have to struggle to find a free spot on the sand without rows of sunbeds.
Honestly could have been in the Caribbean! Perfectly clear turquoise water and soft golden sand. Lots of great restaurants and sunbeds were more reasonably priced than Plaka / Georgos beaches. Lovely atmosphere. I went to El Greco a few times as they had a good offer for third row sunbeds at €15 for the day.

This campsite was a brilliant find. Perfectly located right on the idyllic Plaka beach with really excellent facilities. I stayed in a “bed tent” for 8 days”. Simple but comfortable and clean with bedding included and electrical power. The facilities here are excellent - bathrooms are absolutely spotless, plenty of fridges available to use, chairs and tables, a paid laundry as well as hand washing stations and a good cafe/bar. The staff are exceptional. Communication from Petra before I arrived was superb. All in all, the perfect place to stay.
We are currently staying at Maragas Camping and absolutely loving it! The bathrooms are super clean – perfect for families with kids. There’s plenty of space for play and relaxation. The hospitality is amazing, with kind and smiling people everywhere. And the morning coffee… simply wonderful! It gently wakes you up and fills you with energy. A truly beautiful experience – I recommend it with all my heart! 💛⛺️☕️
Stayed for a couple of days mid September, lovely campsite with a bus stop right in front, lots of spaces to pitch your own tent and lots of charging stations. The bathrooms were very clean and you can basically do anything through the reception ladies (ie bus tickets, rentals..)
This is a holiday resort where you can rent rooms, bungalows, or set up a tent. There are 2 public kitchens, a small common area where you can charge your devices, a cafe-restaurant and a childrens' playground. The toilets and showers are very clean and the whole place looks well organized. You should know that this is a business that caters mostly to families with young children, teenagers and young adults who like family oriented vacations. A lot of people who enter the common areas stare at walls to avoid eye contact. I felt like I was on vacation with all the grumpy people I see every Monday morning in the streets of Athens. I had the unlucky experience of having next to me a group of people who chattered loudly all night, but for the most part, this is a quiet camp with good shading over the tents, where normally you can have a restful sleep. The campsite itself is quite big and charmless and so is the long beach that stretches in front of it and is covered with row upon row of sunbeds. Naxos is a very commercialized island. I did not find the people at the help desk very helpful. On a second visit in 2024 I found my stay more pleasant because of better neighbors and a helpful night guard. This campsite can be a convenient solution for a short stay, or even a long one for people who are looking for big, clean and standardized, but will disappoint if you're looking for island character or convivial atmosphere.
Just as I remembered it 18 years ago . You can fault it . We used the studio and the bed tent , both stay were wonderful . The reception team are amazing . Kind and helpful . The cleaners are litterally working all day long, the studio smelt so nice everyday . The facilities amazing . The bar team super nice, the snacks generous and fresh ! Just a little thing , for camping bring your ustencils or go to the Chinese shop in Chora to get cheap cutlery . Amazing stay , will defo come back again
The camping site offers many shadow spots, the staff is really friendly and always helpful and the bathrooms really clean. The site is directly next to the plaka beach and next to many tavernas. The camping site also offers a 10% discount for the one of the tavernas. Also the restaurant in the camping site is really nice and I recommend the breakfast there, especially the pancakes.
Nice camping. Sometimes a bit loud but nice people and clean. The restaurant is also good!
Omelate 10 euros, coffe 4 euro very Extensive and not something special.

It's a great spot, excellent for freestyle windsurf I was well accepted there and got lots of useful tips from Stam! The vibe and the whole family there are amazing people, I recommend everyone who wants some quality time doing wstersports! 🤙🏽 Thanks a lot once again!
An amazing experience people who truly love what they do! Every time we come back to Naxos, a visit to Laguna Beach Park is a must. My son started windsurfing there three years ago, and thanks to Stamatis and his unique teaching style, he managed to become independent on the board after just a few lessons. Stamatis isn’t just a great instructor , he’s someone who inspires confidence, truly loves what he does, and makes everyone feel calm and capable out on the water. Anastasia is always there with her warm smile, organizing everything perfectly and making you feel welcome from the very first moment. The spot is ideal , shallow, safe waters and a relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn windsurfing or simply spend time by the sea with genuinely wonderful people.
Best place to learn windsurfing if you are a beginner. The waters are safe and shallow, giving you security. Stamatis the owner is very friendly and our instructor Michalis was very calm, supportive and explanatory, definitely building in confidence to try this sport. Wide range of equipment. Very good for kids as well. Prices are very reasonable.
It’s always great to be here, everyone is so nice and welcoming. Stamatis is a great teacher and gives very good lessons and high quality feedbacks to improve very fast. Anastasia is very friendly and super organsied at the reception and will always find a solution to every problem.
Laguna Beach Park is a fantastic windsurfing spot that adapts beautifully to conditions. On high-wind days, it’s a playground for advanced riders who want to push their limits, while on lighter-wind days, it offers a safe and enjoyable setting for beginners to learn and practice. The sandy seabed and shallow areas make it a comfortable and worry-free environment, even when the winds pick up. This is the perfect spot for freestyle riders who want to progress or reshape their moves—the usually choppy water and reliable strong winds make it an absolute dream for training and improving skills. The atmosphere is shaped by both Stamatis—a former PWA competitor and world-class windsurfer—and his wife Anastasia, who warmly welcomes everyone and keeps everything running smoothly. Their combined passion and professionalism create a truly special experience. The instructors they have brought into the team are equally skilled, supportive, and friendly, ensuring every guest feels both safe and inspired.
Great place for windsurfing. Took my kids who have never done it before and in an hour they were both windsurfing back and forth on their own. Great instruction and a terrific experience for us. I highly recommend them for windsurfing in Naxos.
Our worst windsurfing experience!😫 Nice spot managed by a bad woman. We finally found an easy spot and rented the equipment. The school and rental center is located upwind of the lagoon. Unfortunately after that the wind turned to flat (see photo). We just had the chance of going 10 minutes downwind and after we had to swim back to the school. In these case it's a normal behaviour of rental centers letting you wait that the wind goes up again or ,at least, giving you a bigger sail that would make you move. Unfortunately in this case the owner at the desk just told us that our rental had been finished! The hour was not even passed (at that time we were about at 40m, considering the time we had to wait to talk with her) and she had ANY availability regarding the "no wind" situation. Overall this demonstrates the kind of person and of vibes going on in this money factory called "beach park". Definitely avoid this place. Plus they try to steal you money with a fake insurance added to the rental without any insurance contract or any kind of licence for issuing this kind of insurance products.
Great place to freshen up your rusty surfing skills. Very patient and cheerful teacher. Thank you Stamatis
