It was our first time at Santa Village, and the kids had an absolute blast — and so did the parents! This is truly a must-visit destination for families with young children. Despite the sunny weather, the festive atmosphere and all the rides kept everyone entertained. There’s a great variety of attractions, especially for toddlers, and everything is very family-friendly. The highlight for us was seeing Santa and Mrs. Claus outside, warmly greeting every visitor — such a magical touch! The Yeti Ride was definitely a favorite for our family. We’re already planning to come back in winter to experience the full Christmas vibe. Highly recommended for a magical family outing!
I went to Santa’s Village with my family and honestly, I had never heard of it before. When we arrived, I was really surprised by how much fun it was! The new Yeti roller coaster was a blast — my kids loved it and we went on it many, many times. The whole place has a great family vibe and lots to do for kids of all ages. Just a heads up, there are only a few food stands, so it’s best to plan ahead and line up early for lunch before the crowds. Overall, it was a fantastic family day and we’ll definitely be back!
10 Stars, great place to take the family, likely to be enjoyed by kids under 10 but still great for all, staff at all the rides and venues are super friendly not like most Carneys, only food is extra and a few additional like Elf ID card etc, not constant cash grab , there is a gift shop at entrance/ exit. Food was good, rides were good and Yeti coaster was excellent. Great value for your money, free parking even, went on a Saturday and no wait in any line, absolutely amazing experience. Recommend 100%
We had an amazing time at Santa Village! The natural surroundings are absolutely beautiful — tall trees, fresh air, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it feel like a true getaway from the city. It’s the perfect place for families, especially with young kids. The attractions are really well done and fun for all ages. Our children had a blast exploring all the rides and activities. Everything felt safe, clean, and well-organized. What really stood out to us was the Halloween event — it was magical! The decorations, costumes, and themed activities created such a fun and spooky atmosphere without being too scary for the little ones. It was clear that a lot of thought and effort went into making it special. Santa Village is a fantastic destination for a day trip or weekend adventure with the family. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Spent the day at Santa's Village with the family. An annual trip to Santa's Village is a family tradition and we always look forward to it. The weather was hot today but it didn't bother us at all as we were able to remain cool thanks to the breeze coming off the water and blowing through the trees. That is one of the things I love about Santa's Village, that it is nestled in amongst the trees along the riverside. The rides are great and the natural setting is a beautiful bonus. This visit we were able to test out the new roller-coaster The Yeti! It got two thumbs up from every member of the family except the youngest. We also rode on our family favourite rides like Santa's Summer Sleigh, The train, and the Pepermint Penguin. We decided to give the Yule Log a try for lunch and we're pleasantly surprised. Service was fast and friendly and there was something on the menu to please everyone. Added bonus was the AC and washrooms inside. The highlight of Papa's day was attending Elf School. A fun time was had by all! It is always worth the drive to Bracebridge as every summer needs a bit of Christmas magic!
My wife and I took our daughter. We went this year during the Halloween Spooktacular. She loved the rides had a blast. This is a great family fun park. 2nd time we have gone here, will take her again. Staff was also really friendly. Ohh and got to meet Santa early. Highly recommend for family fun
Fantastic Halloween visit at Santa’s Village—festive, friendly, and perfectly not‑too‑scary for kids. The Pumpkin in the Pines trail, cheerful inflatables, and riverside photo spots made it feel truly magical, and staff kept lines moving and areas spotless. Big thumbs up for the new Yeti Trek coaster: smooth, zippy, and just the right dose of thrills for families without being intimidating. Five stars for a well‑run, memory‑making fall day—we’ll be back!
We stopped here on our way to Huntsville and had such a great time! I visited as a kid, but it was even better coming back with my family. Our daughter loved every part of the day—especially the elf training! The rides were a lot of fun for the whole family, and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The lines weren’t too bad, and we were pleasantly surprised that the food and ice cream were very reasonably priced. The Yeti Trek Rollercoaster is definitely a must-do! We’ll most likely be back again next summer for another fun visit.

Muskoka Brewery is a legend. There's no denying its influence or that of its well known Mad Tom line of IPAs. However, their Festbier, a German Oktoberfest amber lager is out-of-this-world! Darker than expected for a lager (that would be the amber part of its parentage) the festbier is full-bodied, leaning more heavily towards the malty characteristics of an amber than a lager. The Winter Beard nitro stout is that rare creature -- a light, creamy, almost effervescent stout that bubbles with life without being too sweet.
Muskoka Brewery is a great stop if you’re in the area. They’ve got a solid selection of drinks to choose from, whether you're into craft beer or just trying something new. The place has a relaxed, vacation-y vibe — perfect for a casual afternoon. They also have some really cute merch and even a few fun, fragrant hand soaps that caught my attention. All in all, it’s a cozy, welcoming spot that fits right in with the laid-back Muskoka feel. And don’t forget to play a quick round of cornhole while you’re there P.S. — the images isn’t of the brewery itself, it’s from the Muskoka cruise — just wanted to share the overall feel of the place!
Very cozy place with a great atmosphere and delicious beer! Each beer has its own character — it’s a joy to try them all. The staff is super friendly, and you feel like you’re visiting old friends. We’ll definitely be back!
The Muskoka Brewery was a great host for a lunch stop on our scenic tour of Muskoka as part of the MG102Fest weekend. Thank you for your generous donation in support of our event.
A remarkable beer shop and brewery in Muskoka. They sell various beer with different flavours and they also have beer that is almost zero alcohol for young adult to drink with parental guidance.
Detour ISA it’s the best Canadian beer. It’s just perfect. One the best beer recipe around the world. Should be sold everywhere not only in Canada, other countries should know what’s this guy do.
Was a fantastic stop on our way to Algonquin! Awesome beer selection and a cozy, welcoming vibe. The tall guy behind the bar was on another level. I accidentally ordered the wrong drink, and he immediately offered to replace it without any hesitation. I tried the beer flight with the bartender’s choice, and you could tell he really put thought into the selection. It really made my day after a long drive from Waterloo.
I like the IPAs from Muskoka Brewery. We had two flights, the IPA and the Adventurer. The Pineapple Ninja is very fruity. Love the Hazed, juicy IPA. However, I favourite is the Nitro Latte, the foam is very creamy and actually tasted like coffee. They don’t have much food options there as the food truck isn’t there, so we had to settle for the pretzel with beer dip. I feel like the pretzel was just heated up by a microwave, and it is very tasty with all the salt sprinkled on top, the dip is also very salty, maybe they want you to consume more beer that way. However, with the pretty and dip at $17, I really would recommend people to stay away from it.

Hidden gem. A nice place to spend few hours with family specially during fall. And if timing is good then watching fall colours will be bonus.
Nice spot to walk around and explore the falls. It was a lunch stop for us on the way to Huntsville. You can park and explore and walk the main street to find a spot for a nice meal.
Beautiful place to visit in Bracebridge. The falls look amazing and it’s easy to walk around. Nice spot to relax, take pictures, and enjoy nature. Very peaceful and close to downtown.
A great falls near downtown and since it's near downtown it's very lively and enjoyable Vibing always
One of the best picturesque scenes in northern Ontario, Mukoka… nice, tranquil and vibrant
Super easy access to this waterfall. Even though it is a dam, it is still a nice view.
Beautiful spot! Love the pathways too!

Never have I seen so much water going over the falls. We were in mid April after a rainy day plus the snow melt!
A cool hiking falls in bracebridge The trail around the falls makes the falls visible in many views Less crowded during early hours of the day. Google maps leads to a parking near falls which is very limited or unmaintained. But we saw few parkings around the trail.
5 Stars – High Falls is a Hidden Gem! We had the pleasure of staying at a campsite in Muskoka that had direct access to High Falls—and it was absolutely stunning! The sound of the water, the gorgeous natural surroundings, and the peaceful atmosphere made it one of our favorite stops on the trip. Being able to walk right from our campsite to such a breathtaking view was an unforgettable experience. Whether you're up for a little exploring or just want to relax by the water, High Falls is a must-see. We’ll definitely be back!
This is a very beautiful and peaceful place. I visited around sunset and there were very few people, which made it feel calm and relaxing. The waterfall is lovely and the sound of the water adds to the experience. It is a great spot to enjoy nature and take some nice photos. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys quiet outdoor places.
Beautiful fall, great view. Parking was easy. You have to go down to get a perfect view.
Very nice clam place. Beautiful drive all the way there. We love it
Short walk to get to the falls. It was very crowded on Sunday Oct 12. The parking is small. The falls is pretty and try to visit it yearly. There is a good truck nearby with tables and benchs.
There’s no need to purchase ticket. Peaceful place it was and beautiful.

We had an absolutely fantastic time! 10/10 would definitely recommend. We had originally booked a standard site, but upon our arrival, the owner and his son noticed our dogs and kindly moved us to a larger site with more space for them to run around. This thoughtful gesture really made our stay special. The beach was easily accessible and proved to be wonderfully private, giving us a peaceful retreat. The campground sits beautifully on the water with High Falls visible in the distance and accessible by kayak - what a bonus! We’ve already recommended this place to our friends and family, and we’re definitely planning to come back. The combination of excellent customer service, beautiful location, and dog-friendly atmosphere made this a truly memorable experience.
Oh my goodness this is gotta be the nicest part I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve stayed in a lot of parks. They got great beaches. Great sand great people great facilities. Great rentals great parking for your trailers. Everything is just fantastic about this. It’s family owned family run my favourite little friend was Logan. What a nice little boy and he knows how to run business already and he’s only six years old see you next year Logan, Big Rick, and Nancy.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting this incredible place for the first time, and I can see why my friend has been coming here for seven years! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a fantastic day. The variety of activities available is truly impressive. Whether you're into water games, kayaking, or paddle boating, there's something for everyone. I was particularly excited to hear about the upcoming hot tub opening—what a perfect addition! The all-inclusive day pass is an amazing value, allowing you to play until you drop without worrying about extra costs. The facility itself is well-maintained, with clean washrooms and a neat environment that enhances the overall experience. The owners are incredibly accommodating, making sure that every guest feels welcome and taken care of. Whether you're seeking a serene escape or an action-packed day of fun, this place has it all. It's perfect for all ages—everyone from my 8-year-old friend to a 72-year-old enjoyed themselves immensely! I can't wait to return this fall and will definitely be booking again for next summer. Just a tip: be prepared to stay for at least three days because there’s so much to do—you’ll never get bored! Highly recommend!
We had a party of 8 with 4 trailers and came across this hidden gem last minute. Mark and I along with our friends, Jenny, Malcolm, Karen, Lawrence, Brad and Susie had an amazing time. Although it was a bit of a challenge maneuvering the trailers in, once they were situated, we had a great view of the falls and beach with the water park. Brian and his family own the park and we got to know him and his wife Leslie and their children. Lots of great stories from Brian and they went above and beyond to make our stay great. The sites are all sand, and the beach, outdoor washroom pods were always clean. The smash burger truck had delicious food and nice area to eat with a view of the falls. Lots of trails going over to the falls and throughout the park. Brian is always improving the areas and he has also added pods to stay in. The path down to the trailer park is tight in areas for big trailers or buses and is only really wide enough for anyone going up and down. Brian had to cut some branches in places for us to get through. Overall, we had a great time with great friends and I would definitely recommend this place. We will be back. Thanks Brian and family!
High Falls Campground is an absolute 10/10 for kids — my son had a blast with all the water features. There's so much to do: water trampolines, floating obstacles, and beach fun. He did wish both water trampolines were in operation though — one of them looks abandoned out there, which kind of dampens the vibe a bit (you’ll see what I mean if you go). The beach itself is beautiful — soft sand that's amazing on your feet (just hot sometimes mid-day), and the water is cool and refreshing, naturally darkened by the wood tannins. If you bring goggles, there’s actually a lot to see in the river, like old submerged trees and cool natural features. A few things to note: I wish the boats and water toys were included in the site rental — it wasn’t clear they weren’t, and the beach staff will stop you quickly to make sure you’ve paid. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind paying more up front if it meant access was all-inclusive. Firewood is expensive, but the bathrooms and showers were impressively clean, which goes a long way when camping. All in all, I’d give it an 8/10. We’ll definitely be going back, but next time we might skip the wild wilderness sites and try one of the pods or upgraded spots.
This location is our yearly retreat when up in this area. The staff is always incredibly accommodating, the property is always clean and it's always a very relaxed atmosphere. Between the 2 beaches and the multiple water attractions, kayaks etc, there is things to do for the whole family. Lots of hiking trails on the property and within a 15 minute drive, all amenities for groceries etc are up the street but when you are at camp, you'd assume you are in the middle of no where. A great time every year!
Just spent the weekend (Jul 18-20, 2025) and really enjoyed our camping weekend. It was a great spot for the kids first camping trip with lots of fun things to do. The park was clean and washroom facilities were well kept. You do have to pay extra to use some of the water toys and the boats. Including that if staying at the park would be nice but we did spend the money to take the boats over to the falls which was very cool! Staff were great and Lexi was very friendly and helpful all weekend. A really awesome and unique spot with the waterfall. Thank you High Falls Bay!!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience here! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and felt right at home. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The campground itself is beautiful and well-maintained, with a great atmosphere that’s both relaxing and family-friendly. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy nature and unwind. The location near the falls is breathtaking — we loved exploring the area and spending time outdoors. We truly appreciated how attentive and helpful everyone at the campground was. It made all the difference and made our stay even more enjoyable. We can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend High Falls Bay to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming camping experience in Muskoka!

Beautiful waterfall, you have a better straight on view from the road because the hiking path loops around and you can’t see the waterfall unless you go out on the rocks but it’s very dangerous since they are wet and slippery and uneven. Beautiful walk through the cedars and along the river. Even though the songs are very strict about dogs ever dog owner here had their dog off leash and running around. So be careful if you don’t like dogs
A great falls with a pleasant walking or trailing area At one point the trail makes 2 ways, the left one goes around the lake ( which is a regular way ) The right one leads near to falls , but we went in spring during rain which was a bit slippery and fallen trees blocked the view of the falls
Great trails that run along the river and waterfall. Even though it rained recently, the trails weren't too muddy which was nice.
If you home the trail you can go right down to the water, which was a great experience. There's limited parking, so it took a minute to get a spot (we had to wait for others to pull out, as it was quite busy).
Lovely trail and falls here. Make sure and drive all to the end of the Wilson falls road to park. You can walk along the path but also take the trail closer to the river where the rocks are and walk along. Lots of bugs to bite so make sure and cover yourself in some bug spray. Some of the water is stagnant so just beware.
It was a nice calm trail to take, and can walk on the rocks (but that is going off trail, but do be careful!). When putting the address into Google, it'll state you have arrived at, but will be in front of someone's house, just follow the road to the very end, and it opens up into a parking lot with a sign stating "Wilson's trail". You then get out and follow the trail. There is a spot on the road to stop and take beautiful pictures (we didn't get a chance due to time and noticing a little too late), its a small road, not very busy, but and narrow, so again catuion road pulling over. There is a hydro station you can stop at as well in front of the falls to take pictures and walk up the road a bit to take pictures. The trail itself was really nice and relaxing to do. Do recommend to take trail (it is a short one), and no you do not pay for parking.
There are 3 small sets of falls here and there all very beautiful. Many places to picnic and fish. There is free parking available but not alot of it. Water was warm and quite clean. Alot of good photo opportunities. Bracebridge also has two other falls to check out. The high falls are a fantastic place to check out as well as the Bracebridge falls located right in the downtown are.
Small place but have decent trails. There’s parking on the street but also have parking lot when you drive further in. Good for a little walk( 30-45min average) and also have places to launch kayaks or canoes
