The Americana at Brand is a beautiful place to spend the day! Amazing fountain and cozy seating makes it feel like you are somewhere in Spain or another country. A big mix of stores, good food, especially The cheesecake factory. It’s always clean, well-kept, and the staff in the shops and restaurants are super friendly. Everybody is so nice. You need to see it :)
If you’re looking for a safe, clean, and family-friendly place to shop, eat, and relax in the Los Angeles area, The Americana at Brand in Glendale is an absolute standout. From the moment we arrived, everything felt spacious, well-managed and vibrant. The outdoor shopping centre has a resort-like feel, complete with a gorgeous dancing fountain, live music, and even a free, vintage-style trolley tram that loops through the property — great for kids and a fun way to take in the whole atmosphere. We stopped at The Cheesecake Factory for lunch — the perfect spot right on the promenade with outdoor seating and an unbeatable view of the fountain. The food was classic, portions generous, and service was excellent as always. The retail mix is upscale but approachable, with stores like Nordstrom, Apple, and local boutiques. We loved how walkable everything was, with wide paths and plenty of seating to just sit and enjoy the scenery. Top tip: Get your parking validated while you’re shopping or dining — and it’s free. Easy parking in LA is a rare luxury, and this just makes the visit even more convenient.
Pretty over the top shopping center. Valet parking, ridiculous cars everywhere and shops that I personally wouldn't ever really go in. Decorated really well for Christmas with music going and the train all decorated. Fun to check out, they keep it really clean, even the garbage tops are polished. They also mop the train tracks every morning I noticed.
Lovely modern mall with many brand names, can walk to the stores as inside a small town, reminded me Disney. Three story Barnes and Noble. Great dining experience!
We visited in December on Christmas rush. Gorgeous outdoor mall with high-end brands. It was even more beautiful with the Christmas lights and decor! There's a little tram you can get into. But some people refused to get off, and it was a little frustrating, but we didn't let that ruin our day. I recommend you park in the garage. It'll make your life easier.
I recently visited Americana at Brand in Glendale, and it truly reminded me of Santana Row in the Bay Area. The combination of luxury living and upscale retail creates an inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for a day out. The layout is impressive, with beautifully designed spaces that make it enjoyable to stroll around. The luxury retail options on the lower levels offer a fantastic selection of high-end brands, making it a great destination for shopping enthusiasts. We enjoyed exploring the shops and were pleased with the variety available. The outdoor areas are particularly charming, featuring lush landscaping and comfortable seating that encourages you to linger and soak in the ambiance. There are also several dining options, making it easy to take a break and enjoy a meal or a snack. Overall, Americana at Brand is a wonderful destination that beautifully blends luxury living with an exceptional shopping experience. I can’t wait to return and explore more of what it has to offer!
Nice place to visit 😍😍😍 highly recommended, shops , restaurants, cafes, ice cream, and cinema 🎦
Great place to take your family. The AMC theater is one of the best to see a movie 🎬

The Glendale Galleria is definitely one of the go-to spots if you're looking to get some serious shopping done! Yes, it gets extremely busy on weekends, and finding parking can be a bit of a mission—but once you’re in, it’s absolutely worth it. The mall is spacious, well-kept, and very clean, including the restrooms, which is always a big plus in my book. There’s a solid mix of stores to browse through, from everyday essentials to high-end fashion brands tucked toward the back. I was pleasantly surprised to find a Target and even a Gold’s Gym inside—talk about convenience! The food court is decent, not the biggest variety of options, but you’ll still find something to satisfy your cravings. Overall, if you’re up for a little weekend crowd navigation, Glendale Galleria offers a great shopping experience all around. Highly recommend!
Big, bold, and a bit of everything. The Glendale Galleria is your classic American shopping mall — huge, multi-level, and packed with just about every store you can think of. If you’re looking for brands like Apple, Zara, Uniqlo, or Nordstrom, you’ll find them here. It’s right next to The Americana at Brand, which makes it easy to jump between the two. Galleria feels more traditional — indoors, brighter lighting, lots of foot traffic — but there’s plenty of space to move around, and it’s well air-conditioned (a plus on hot LA days). We came on a weekday and it was busy but manageable. Food court was buzzing with solid options, and we found the layout pretty easy to navigate once we got our bearings. Good place to shop, cool down, or just people-watch if you’re in Glendale. Bonus: lots of parking, though some areas fill up fast.
This is my go to mall. Its not that big but it has a lot of good stores.Food court have different variety of good.Parking is at the parking garage- with plenty of spaces. The place is clean and spacious. The mall does not have a lot of seats for customers- it will be better if they can have seats to rest in between shopping. There are security personnel around.I definitely recommend this mall.Check it out yourself and enjoy!
Wow very nice shopping place . The place has good vibes. Very clean alot of varieties to choose from. Love the fountain water show. The trolley 🚎 is a nice touch too. Outside shopping and inside shopping . The in n out fast food was elegant . The chik fil a is nice too. So many restaurants to choose from. Our all very nice place to take friends and family. We had a wonderful weekend.
Great place to shop , eat and spend a day with your family. Too many options. Much better than many other malls. Our highlight of the trip was meeting Jessica Simpson in JCPenney. She was very sweet and friendly. Signed her new perfume bottle and took pictures with everyone
Glendale Galleria Review: A Mall, a Maze, a Whole Safari Adventure So the family and I decided to check out the Glendale Galleria while on vacation — not to buy anything (unless something leapt into our arms), just to see what big city retail was all about. You know, something different. Something with escalators that go higher than your expectations. Parking: Level Expert Let’s talk about the parking garage first. We found a spot — or should I say a suggestion of a spot. Our car barely fit. I think we had a full-blown “Mission Impossible” moment squeezing in. We made it by the grace of geometry and blind hope. We might’ve parked in another dimension. Unconfirmed. First Impressions: High Roller Heaven We walk in and BAM — luxury. Not just regular nice. I’m talking “this place was built for people who invest in yachts” nice. For a second we thought we accidentally wandered into the VIP terminal of LAX. But as we wandered further, the vibe shifted from Rodeo Drive to Retail Rainforest. Every turn felt like a new village — little store tribes, each representing their brand with flags, walls, and probably sacred rituals. It was like Disneyland but with Gucci, Apple, and Auntie Anne’s as the mascots. Prices? Oh, They’re Up There Don’t get me wrong, it’s not like we couldn’t afford things… it’s just everything felt like it came with a side of stock options. You ever pick up a hoodie and wonder if it includes a subscription plan? That said, if you can’t find what you’re looking for here, it’s probably because you don’t actually need it. Now, The One Sucky Part (Literally) Here’s where the magic wore off for a minute. Now, I get it — service animals are a necessity. Respect. 100% behind it. But the mall also seems to be letting in people with dogs that are clearly just vibes. Not trained. Not needed. Just there because… well, why not bring Fluffy to Foot Locker? So we saw a guy walk in with a dog and, no joke, the dog immediately dropped a hot surprise right at the entrance. Like, didn’t even wait for the food court. Right there — boom. Welcome to the Galleria. Credit to the guy, he tried to clean it up… sorta. Picked it up with his hand and got most of it, but you could still see stuff. Then he asked for napkins, and it just turned into a smear campaign. Looked like abstract art on the tile. I mean, props for the effort, but man… that image is burned into our souls now. Not saying every dog is a problem — just saying there should be a line between service animals and “emotional support for my vibe” animals, especially when they treat the mall like their personal backyard. ⸻ Final Thoughts: • ✅ Huge, shiny, and stacked with every store imaginable. • ✅ Feels like a luxury amusement park with better lighting. • ✅ Great for walking, browsing, or pretending you’re on a shopping show. • ❌ Just maybe… leave your poop-prone pups at home. If you come here with no plans to buy anything, you’ll still leave with sore feet, a smile, and at least one “what the hell did we just see” story. 🌟🌟🌟🌟☆ — 4 out of 5 stars (Minus one star for dog doodoo drama)
Having a big free parking at the area is already a big plus, even though it leads to difficult to find a parking space if you don't drive to the top floor. The size of the mall is just about ok. The fact that they have a beautiful garden outside, it helps distracting shoppers from spending too much at the mall and relaxing at the beautiful garden taking pictures, where it is more beautiful during Xmas. They may have hired new cleaners recently for the food court, they were able to clean very soon after someone finished dinning, that speed is very rare at Mall's food court. Worth mentioning they also offer sitting areas where people can conveniently charge their phone without over the shoulder cable or cross the legs cable, as well as reasonable space to place your stuff. The sales tax and lack of deals kinds of decreasing my frequency of visiting thought.
This mall has a really nice mix of stores, whether you’re shopping for everyday essentials or checking out some of the higher-end brands tucked toward the back. I was actually surprised—in a good way—to find a Target and a Gold’s Gym inside. Super convenient! The food court isn’t the largest, but there’s still enough variety to grab something tasty when you need a break. If you don’t mind dealing with a bit of a weekend crowd, the Glendale Galleria is a great place to spend a few hours shopping. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it!

I happened to stumble upon this cemetery park by pure chance while exploring the old Pasadena. Supremely serene and tranquil, perfect for a scenic drive or a leisure stroll. This place has plenty of imported Italian marble; even though they are replicas of Michelangelo, they are still meticulously crafted. Every public building has free admission. The internal museum is actually very much underrated and contains some early American paintings and artifacts.
Came here on a Sunday afternoon (LSOB). I didn't come here to visit a loved one (as I don't know anyone buried here), but came to experience the cemetery overall. Nestled between Glendale, Glassell Park and Atwater Village is this cemetery perched on a hill. You drive around different points of the cemetery and get views of Griffith Park, Glendale, Eagle Rock and peeks of the DTLA skyline. There's so much to explore and it's so serene. They have a beautiful art museum thats culminated with the Hall of the Crucifixion-Resurrection painted by Jan Styka and Robert Clark. Insanely large painting mounted on a wall. The story and description are very beautiful and emotional. You can also visit different mausoleum that are inspired by the Renaissance Era. Overall, a fantastic place to visit to experience beauty within the mortal, art and history. A must for religious, historical and artistic fans.
This Forest Lawn location, along with its other counterparts, ranks among the most beautiful cemeteries I have ever visited. The grounds are adorned with lush, well-maintained greenery that creates a serene and peaceful environment. The uniform tombstones, each meticulously placed, add to the sense of order and tranquility. Additionally, the cemetery offers stunning views that contribute to its overall beauty. Visiting here provides a unique opportunity to pay respects to some of your favorite long-gone celebrities. The serene atmosphere and picturesque landscape make it a fitting and respectful place to honor their memories. The combination of natural beauty, thoughtful design, and the presence of notable graves makes this cemetery a truly remarkable and moving place to visit.
The temple, the museum and the grounds in general have great artwork and statues. One of the best free things to do in the Los Angeles area.
Forest Lawn impressed us with its magnificent paintings… standing before two great masterpieces, one the biggest I’ve ever seen.
Beautiful and peaceful An exceptional place with immaculate gardens, stunning architecture, and art throughout. More than a cemetery, it's a place of peace and beauty. The staff is very professional and respectful. The grounds are perfectly maintained and offer beautiful views. A dignified and serene place.
Me and my family just buried my uncle on 10/23. Mako was with us for the viewing in the afternoon (10/22) and the morning of the burial (10/23). My family and I are very appreciative of how respectful, kind and considerate she was both days. My mom was the main point of contact and I appreciated how she was patient with my mom during this rough time. Mako made both days go as smooth as they could and even when we wanted some last minute changes, she took care of it with no hesitation. Someone that works here should have the same attributes Mako carries with her. I am deeply grateful that Mako was in charge both days, both days were already hard and she made sure she gave my family whatever we needed.
In February of 2017, my daughter and I arranged her mother’s funeral with Forrest Lawn Glendale. We were both from out of state and were responding to a sudden death. Forrest Lawn was recommended to us by the Pastor of a local church. We had no idea of any funeral homes or cemeteries in the Pasadena area. We were at the mercy of local recommendations and providers. I honestly had no idea of who Forrest Lawn was, or their reputation as the cemetary to the famous. Frankly, we didn’t care. We needed timely, high quality service with care, compassion and competence. Arrangements called for a viewing, followed by cremation with transportation of cremains to their final resting place in rural Pennsylvania. This is not an unusual or difficult situation or need in today’s world. I’ve personally arranged several funerals in my family. Never have I experienced anything as indifferent and commercially motivated as I did in arranging this funeral. I was, and continue to be shocked at the commercial sales culture of Forrest Lawn. At one point, after making a perfectly reasonable request concerning the required casket for the viewing, Forrest Lawn all but called me a Hillbilly and offered to release the body to us if we wished. The request was not outlandish, as I’ve arranged two funerals in the Midwest incorporating the request. Obviously, we didn’t ask for the body back. In another instance, the body was dressed in a particular scarf at the viewing. When my daughter requested (before the viewing) that the scarf be returned to her before cremation; the staff refused, saying their “policy” was not to remove clothing from the body prior to cremation. What colossal insensitivity! Exasperated, I simply told them I will personally remove the scarf from the body at the end of the viewing. If they had a problem with that, they can talk to me about it then. In the end, the funeral staff did return the scarf to my daughter, but only after we “reminded” them as we walked away from the viewing room immediately after the conclusion of the viewing. Our treatment at Forrest Lawn Pasadena was outrageous. I’ll never forget, nor frankly, forgive the experience. I cannot recommend Forrest Lawn to others, at least not anyone in any situation similar to ours. Possibly if the final resting place had been at the cemetery, their service and our treatment would have been better.

Don't forget the hike behind the park! Pretty steep going down so good hiking shoes and trekking poles are recommended 👌
Lovely little park great to spend an afternoon with the kids. Visit the Japanede garden, read at the library, play at the playground then cool off at the wading pool. Enough shade on hot days to stay relatively cool.
I truly enjoy visiting this place. It's a huge park with walking trails, a big library, nice playground and my favorite thing to visit is their little Happy garden. This place is surrounded by beautiful homes.
Cool place to checkout and walk around. The historic house is pretty nifty, Japanese teahouse was cool as well. I wanted to check out the gallery and library but it was closed on the weekend. The trails look good too, but I didn't check them out.
Our favourite hike starts here. Goes straight up to the antenna. 2000 ft of elevation gains in 1.5 miles 🤠 giddy up! It's leg day!
A nice quite park in a beautiful area. It holds a special place for me and my family. Inside the park is a house called the doctors house it is a historic landmark. My family owned this house for about 60 years before it was moved it into the park. A beautiful park for a picnic and a walk around the area
Brand Park in Glendale is such a charming spot! It has plenty of cozy sitting areas perfect for a picnic date, making it a great place to relax and enjoy some quality time outdoors. There’s also a nice playground where kids can have fun, so it’s perfect for families. For those who love a bit of adventure, the hiking trails offer a peaceful way to explore nature right in the city. Plus, the historic Brand Library and Art Center add a unique cultural touch to the park. Overall, it’s a peaceful, well-maintained space with something for everyone.

We saw Little Shop of Horrors with friends for their closing show. The cast and crew were very talented, the singing was just fantastic. The venue is in the round and the seating was wonderful. If they have something you’re interested in, don’t hesitate see a show performed there. Congratulations to all involved with the show.
The theater is very gorgeous. The stage setting is unique and creative for the space. The vocals of many of the actors were incredible. The downside is that the lobby gets HOT. You will start sweating on a warm day once it gets close to showtime. There are also no rails to get down the seating stairs. That may be an issue for those with mobility impairments. The staff is super helful and you are allowed to take in your snacks. They offer parking validations for a nearby lot as well.
I returned and saw the orchid quartet play Pink Floyd music and it was fantastic. This theater means a lot to me and my family. We've been going there for years for their story of Scrooge. But we came back to see this wonderful show and I encourage Alt visit and enjoy this wonderful place.
What an amazing performance. It was truly a unique event. The quartet was quite accomplished and played the music of the Beatles beautifully.
Wow! 🤯 What a wonderful time! We attended “The Jury Experience” performance. It was phenomenal. Actors and actresses were very professional. The whole production was well thought out and expertly done. Would recommend to everyone! It was not disappoint. Plus, it was very interactive via voting with your phone.
Beautiful little theatre. Convenient parking right next-door. Beautiful interior. Came here for The Jazz Room concert, I loved it except for they didn’t allow any recording of the show and they immediately closed the bar so I was only able to get 1 drink prior to the performance.
A wonderfully intimate sized stage and amazing performances from the actors, the crew, the aerialist and the musicians! I saw Dracula The Musical with Justin Meyer and Samantha Rose as Dracula and Mina. I did not know what to expect when I bought the tickets as I had never been here or seen this play, but the entire performance exceeded anything I could have hoped for. I will return, maybe even for this play! 🧛
On September 20th, we attended the Sleeping Beauty ballet show. We really enjoyed it—the production was wonderful, the dancers were so well-coordinated, and we especially enjoyed the soloists, Aurora, and her partner. Their high level of professionalism was evident. We thoroughly enjoyed it.!!!

Great fan meeting experience with my daughter and her friend! Beautiful theatre, inside and out, and I was lucky to get Rockstar parking on the same block!
My first concert here at Alex Theater. The performance was cancelled but there was no notice via email, text, smoke signal… something! It was just closed. NO note on the ticket counter to notify concert goers of the cancellation. There were a bunch of us that stood there confused. A sign or a notice at the will call would have explained the closure.
Wow, the minute I saw the movie that I wanted to see and on my way there I purchased a ticket. It was so easy and then when I got there, the employees were great and overall it’s just such a pro operation. I’ve been to many theaters in my life and they’re good theaters with good employees and good managers but this one was top notch. It seems like the people really know the movie industry and I could sense that they really love the movie industry and wanted me or the other patrons to enjoy their experience along with enjoy enjoying the movie! There is a area where you can buy some concessions and the theater itself is just fantastic. The whole building structure is phenomenal. It’s great to see this theater and I’m very grateful for the experience I had today.
Great theater to have you screening or host an event. Plenty of space, beautiful interior and exterior design. The ceiling is gorgeous!
Great venue. No bad seat in the house. The acoustics were also really good. We went to see Bill Burr and it was a very good time. They had bars setup outside, inside and even up on the balcony. There were plenty of restrooms so there was no waiting. We enjoyed our time here.
Omg it was amazing 🎥📽️🎞️ designed in a Classical Revival style with a Greek theme by architects Lindley & Selkirk it's a masterpiece
Great Venue for classic movies and great music acts
Worl tour of Flamenco Show.., waiting for this experience to be the best, international dancers..
