Great deal for the price! My girl and I went there and we got the whole package. Very memorable museum with a variety of animals for you to see! Friendly staff and such a unique environment made it a very memorable day. One day we hope to come back with kids of our own 👌
Strange museum/zoo that I suppose you just have to see! Cute for adults and kids. It also has a free mini golf that needed work but worth the price of admission.
This is my third time coming back to this wonderful and mysterious gem. I love how unique everything is and the two ladies that have been working there since I have gone are sweethearts. There is so much to do and they even mentioned how they will be opening up later in the evenings due to the summer heat. That said, ice-cream was delicious, animals were taken care of like royalty and loved how you can even partake in giving them snacks, and there is so much to look at you always feel like your missing out if you turn a different way. Would recommend this place for all ages🥰
We came there only to feed the animals I wasn’t expected there a museum and different corridors. I mean I think it’s unnecessary stuff in my opinion looked kinda creepy and I didn’t understand all random rooms especially aquarium that only 2-3 tanks have fishes but we could feed some animals it was cute. There is no bag with food for you to feed them so they just give you a food to your hand with every animal. To feed most of them it wasn’t easy because you are mostly far from the cage and will not reach out to feed all of them. The conclusion?- It’s fine but just for once
We went to what I thought was a small zoo and mini golf course, we left this amazingly quirky, backroom infused, barage on your senses, museum of everything odd and wonderful with memories of strange but happy fun. The animals seem to be well fed and taken care of, and the mini golf course will leave the best players scratching their heads wondering how to make their next shot not be a lost cause.
What an interesting place with so many attractions. Its like a mix of an old history museum, ol timey roadside attraction, put putt, petting zoo, antiques roadshow extravaganza. There's so much to see throughout multiple buildings it's totally worth it just to see this beautifully bizarre attraction.
Have been here twice. It's a sight to see. Guide was a little off-putting with remarks about that they normally have children visitors. I WILL TELL YOU WITH MY FULL CHEST...if I was a kid this place would give me Nightmares! But maybe child eyes are more forgiving? I will be as honest as I can without giving away too much because it's an experience for sure. Bring Bug Spray/Hand Sanitizer for out by the Animals and know there's only a few that you can touch or pet. Staff provides some snacks for you to give them. I don't advise buying all the bags they list as options online for reservations $$$. Be prepared to be lost as well, so wear good shoes, have your phone charged for pics/flashlight and stay together.
What a hidden gem! We really enjoyed the tour through the museum and the petting zoo. So much fun for the kids.

Absolutely beautiful park with lots of trails and plenty of caves to explore. The only issues I've found are that the trails are not well marked and that the caves are not maintained by rangers at all, and are covered in graffiti in places.
The caves are small but interesting we enjoyed the time spent there
Did a 8 mile hike there for two purposes. I am a wildlife photographer and wife getting ready for the AT. Mostly overcast and a good amount of trees for the added “reprieve “ from our Florida sun. All in all, a nice hike and was able to photograph the “elusive” Sherman’s Fox Squirrel. Some trail maintenance looks to be needed, however not too terribly bad. Definitely recommended…
Amazing beautiful trails, but make sure to bring protection ( gun ) with you. We ( my toddler) were followed and possibly stalked by a Florida panther.
The Withlacoochee Red Trail Loop is one of the most scenic trails around Tampa Bay that I have walked. It was cool weather so I didn't see much wildlife. I found the scenery was very nice, especially around the river. An added bonus is the tower along the path. I can see why the previous commenters were confused by the All Trails map. I found that I had to follow the orange blazes for 3/4 of the loop, then switched to follow the blue blazes. This is the only way I could stay on the All Trails path.
Nature at its best! Clear marked hiking trails a lake for kayaking etc. the lots are cleaned campgrounds maintained and ladies showers restrooms are cleaned daily whoooo Overall a great experience
This state forest offers an abundance of destinations to enjoy nature. Cooler temperatures in October and November make those months my favorite time to hike and explore the forest. Photos and video accompanying this review were taken near the intersection of Stage Coach Trail and Citrus Way.
I just the the beautiful outdoors enjoyment. From the nature trails bike riding trails an 4x4 trail riding to also horse back riding. The lakes the birds the trees the flowers the views are breath taking from Croom to Sumter to Bushnell to richloam to citrus Hernando two mile perry Croom motorcycle Area an all the day use areas.

Marker 48 Brewing in Spring Hill is one of those places where there’s always something cool to look at. The high ceilings and unique art everywhere give it a fun, laid-back vibe, and the glass panels under some of the seating that let you peek into the basement? Definitely a unique conversation starter. The space is huge, with garage doors opening up to a massive outdoor area that’s well-covered for both sun and rain—great for kicking back with a drink no matter the weather. It’s dog-friendly, which is always a plus, and the stage out back makes it a solid spot for live music.
The brewery offers a wide variety of well-crafted beers that is distributed by fast and competent staff. The taproom is large slightly cavernous in size but decorated in the style of a country store. The nook that offers distilled spirits could be a bit more roomy but who needs spirits when there is beer ;-) A great backyard with a sizeable stage and space for food trucks plus plenty of parking make this a destination brewery for the Bay crowd.
Well, the place has a variety of drinks and good service. The decor is nice. But they don't sell any food inside, and for the number of people who visit, there's little space. There's live country music, but the times I've been, I've never found enough space to enjoy the music. The small park has been uncomfortable. The cleanliness is average, and I don't consider the prices affordable.
We had 25 friends party hardy at this excellent venue with the #1 band of Hernando County, Borderline. The beer, the wine and liquor was flowing pretty well. Thank you to the hard working staff for keeping it smooth. We will be back.
We enjoy visiting breweries and Marker 48 was one of the better ones. We heard about it from friends we made at another brewery that isn't too far away. It was a busy Saturday afternoon, when there were many customers in the place. A line of half a dozen people were waiting to get to the bar. Two bartenders kept the line moving quickly and the customers, including me, happy. They were friendly and informative. The selection of beer was excellent with 20 varieties on tap, with something for every taste. We sat inside and enjoyed the great weekend vibe. We checked out the beer garden and that was the most popular place to be. The outdoor bar was busier than inside the taproom. We loved the place and plan to visit Marker 48 again soon and get seats outside in the beer garden.
Exceptional venue and staff, impressed by the variety of quality in-house and a pretty decent distillery. There was live music, a great dog friendly outdoor seating. Bartenders are knowledgeable and attentive. Great vibe, lots of parking, clean and well maintained. Great spot for a party of 6 or more. Must see!
Visited for the first time over the weekend, and I loved it. I've been a huge fan of Marker 48 for some time, and when I found out I could visit the actual brewery, I couldn't wait to check it out. The decor has a rustic feel inside with bench style seating. Outside has several low and high-top style tables and super cute old-fashioned themed lounge areas. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are allowed as well and are definitely thought of with water stations around for them. The retail items were just awesome. Michelle (amazing human being) was so helpful and even went to the back to get a specific shirt for me. I was really grateful. Actually the entire staff was excellent! Overall, this place was/is outstanding, and we will definitely be returning.
Adorable brewery with delicious cocktails and friendly helpful staff. The bar set up was so unique - some of the decor includes: a streamliner, covered “living room”, a stage for live music and an area for private events. The seating area is set up like a back yard with individual fire tables and heater during chilly weather. There was a food truck that served wood fire pizzas while we visited. Live this brewery - I highly recommend this hidden gem!

It's a great place to visit. We went to the sunflower festival and the flowers were beautiful. They have other flowers as well. There's a maze cut in the sunflowers. There are pigs, goats, cows you can pet, chickens, donkeys, turkeys, and fun things for kids. There's a hay ride around the farm, play areas for the kids, drinks, and snacks, too!!! I'm looking forward to the fall festival and the maze cut into the corn field as well!!! And the people who work there are great, friendly and helpful!!!
We went to Sweet Fields Farm for the pumpkin patch. It was about a 40-minute drive away, and when we arrived, we saw the parking lot was almost full, indicating that it's a popular destination. The farm's entry fee was $14 per person, and the pumpkin patch was beautifully decorated, offering great photo opportunities. Beyond the Pumpkin Patch, Farm offers other activities for children to enjoy. These include interacting with various animals, participating in a hayride for a tour of the farm, and more. The farm also offers freshly made apple cider vinegar, which is perfect to try. On our visit, there were also chicken and pizza food trucks for lunch, making it easy to enjoy a meal while exploring the farm. We enjoyed our visit to Sweetfields farm, as it offered a variety of activities that the children particularly enjoyed.
We had a great day at the fall fest. The farm is so pretty, the food was good, the animals were taken care of. The workers were so nice and seem to love their job. We'll definitely come back. Thank you for a fun day :)
My family visited during their Monday hours. Parking was included follow the parking attendant and hop out for a day of fun. We pre ordered our tickets in advance on their website (highly recommend) the farm fills up fast and is a popular place. We strolled through the pumpkin patch, greeted the sweet farm animals and had fun doing many activities. The corn maze was a challenge we made it out alive lol. They did provide emergency exits for those struggling. The hayride with a fresh pressed cold apple cider was the perfect ending to our FL Fall day! Great place for photo opportunities all throughout the farm. We will be returning in the future for the Fall & Spring events.
This place was recommended by a friend. I spent days looking at Youtube videos and going through Facebook to see what it was about. I wanted to make sure there was enough stuff for my kids to do and boy was there plenty. The videos I watched didn't show half of what this farm offers. We got there right at 1000 and the kids played for hours, hopping from one activity to another until it was time to go. I think we spent a good 4-5 hours there and not once did we stand around with nothing to do. The games setup were lots of fun, basketball, tractor ride, hamster tube, Sunflower picking, pumpkin bowling, playgrounds, photo ops, the animals, etc. The cider was amazing, I didn't get to try any of the adult drinks but my wife said it was great. Lots of memories were created that day. Thank you. I hope they will always remember it.
I've visited several times over the years for the pumpkin patch. It is a great place to get you in the fall mood. The farm is beautiful and the people are very nice.
Great Family Fun with plenty to do, cute animals, mazes and games for littles and bigs, several food and snack options and plenty of shade and picnic tables. I will be back.
We had the best time. Our kids had a blast with all that they had for the activities. They loved getting to pet all the animals . The sunflowers 🌻 we picked are so beautiful. All the staff was so friendly and kind. Highly recommend taking your family to sweetfields farm.

Great little place to tour and fun nice older gentlemen give the tour. It’s short but worth it to see all the artifacts. Really nice people. Do not skip the one room schoolhouse next door! Included with the admission and the ladies there Ms Mary and Ms Gretchen were amazing, full of historical information and you get an old fashioned schoolhouse tour. They were absolutely lovely.
Public washrooms available; plumbing is older Nice art, close to other parks and main sights
Cool slice of history and Americana. It was closed while we were there in June 24 but we checked out the grounds and it is worth the trip for the pictures!
We went on a Thursday, Google showed it was open Thursday - Saturday. Nope only open Friday and Saturday so we didn't get to go inside, maybe next time we're in town. We ventured around the quaint town and saw Murals, Beautiful Homes, and good History if anyone else is interested.
My ladies group from church toured the museum and we had the best time. For such a tiny place, it was incredible the amount of History that we experienced. The volunteer that gave us our tour was incredibly knowledgeable and we learned so much. We were there over 2 hours and still didn't see everything and I could tell that that volunteer could have told us stories for days so I can't wait to return.
Great parking for the Good Neighbor bicycle trail. The Good Neighbor bicycle trail has 911 markers along the way. The Brooksville Train Musuem was closed when we were there. So glad they preserved all of this!
You could visit this place 20 times and each time discover something new. There is so much to see and experience. There is an absolutely beautiful walking trail here as well as a one room school house
Incredible experience at a truly well preserved historical location. I would definitely recommend it.

Finally got to take an official tour without "trespassing." Richard is an awesome tour guide. The home and property are breathtaking and offer a fascinating history. If you love old homes, old properties, and history it is more than worth a visit. Feels almost like you're in North Carolina in another time. The name itself means the place where things once lost are found again. How romantic is that? Also learned today that Raymond Robins who named the property went out searching for gold but found God instead. Funny how that works. While God is the greatest treasure we could ever find, this special place is worth stumbling upon if you do.
Great historic property with beautiful views and scenery. There are guided and self-guided tours available but I would suggest buying tickets in advance as they closed before we got there.
This is a beautiful piece of history. The manor is currently closed for repairs, I was told it is scheduled to reopen in September. The property features large plantation mansion with the most wonderful wraparound porch on the top and bottom floors. The top floor of the home hosts a museum with so much history, artifacts, letters and more. Many of the rooms have original furniture and decor. The property also has 7 cottages that each sleep 8. They have a living room, kitchen, dining room and 4 rooms with 2 twin beds. Each room had it's own bathroom. There is also a dining hall with a commercial kitchen, fire pit and classroom with a 100+ capacity. But to me, the stand out is the oak trees. 2 main trees have been named and hold great historical significance, but the property is glittered with stunning oaks and other plants. It would be a perfect location for a wedding or any other event. Looking forward to visiting again.
Was going to stop at the public walk (which I will do at another time), but then drove a little farther down the road and found that there's an old plantation with this area, Chinsegut Hill. Absolutely beautiful! You can walk around the huge yard and drives going under huge old trees. One even has a staircase as if your going to a tree house. Quiet... And a wonderful view
I visited here Saturday and was pleasantly suprised by the house and grounds. I was only able to see one room of the museum (the house is the museum) because I was told the a.c. was broke and their were no volunteers who would stay. That was pretty disappointing but I still quite enjoyed walking around the upstairs and downstairs porch, as well as walking around the property with so many gorgeous old oaks. I am looking forward to going back to hopefully see all of the museum and update this review to 5 stars!
Historic location in Brooksville. Family history of this often overlooked site is intertwined with Florida politics, prohibition, imancipation, and even ties into US relations with Soviet Russia. Tour is about an hour. May be hot in summer so dress for comfort.
Overjoyed to discover this hidden gem on a tranquil hillside near Brooksville. I attended a plant sale under the oaks but there are a lot of special events so I will be returning soon. The history of the house is fascinating. The staff was very helpful. I am looking forward to renting one of the cottages for a family retreat.
This was an absolutely beautiful place, really great piece of history, big property, great walking/hiking trails, awesome old historical buildings throughout. The citrus trees and MASSIVE bamboo were really cool to see! A definite MUST GO. Great for the whole family! We had a great time, suggest shoes and a lightweight stroller that can easily maneuver different terrain or a hiking pack to carry babies easily. We did it with a regular stroller which worked but it didn't like the different terrain changes much so it definitely required a little more energy to push ours 🤣 still worth it though. Bring water!! If it's a cooler day, bring bug spray I'm sure they will get bad.
