Cool beach area expanding along the roadway. Very convenient & close parking along the beach area with shops, food & drink across the street. Beautiful views.
Nice scenic place to stop shortly if you are in the area, to get some rest. It's prohibited to walk on it because it's an old bridge, but the view is nice
The sand has bigger grains than expected and there were a lot of tiny shells mixed in. Definitely made for a beautiful scene! Likely one of my favorite beaches thus far!
Beautiful little pier This little pier is very pretty and fun to take a walk out on, my only caveat is that it costs money! It's only $1.50, but most piers I've been on don't have an entrance fee. Nevertheless, it's still a very pretty experience and you meet all sorts of nice people hanging out and fishing, some fellows even have piles of fish they're skinning and you can watch. The main reason I go out though is for photo taking and watching the surfers!
Visited for the 4th of July. Got to see the parade. This place has the American vibes.
Since I was a child, I have visited the pier. It was my father's favorite fishing pier. Having moved to Florida a few years back, I stopped to pay daddy a visit. I could hear his voice. I teared up a bit with the trip down memory lane. I hope the county can get that back for the community.
After being damaged by a hurricane a few years ago .... construction has finally begun....so looking forward to the new pier to enjoy.
I love this pier, we fish here all the time, only downfall is the surfers who are a constant issue. They are constantly disreguarding rules set forth to ensure their safety in being to close to pier, they are very aggressive and constantly trying to start fight with the people fishing from the pier, cutting their lines and so forth. The lifeguards sometimes try to remind them to stay back but it never gets resolved, yesterday we were out there again and some young sufer guys were cussing the older fishermen again. Its an on going issue that i really wish they could fix because its so relaxing and fun till some surfer starts drama.

after living here for decades, I finally stumbled across this place, and mad at myself for taking so long. It is gorgeous here! Easy (tho the limited parking) beach access, lots of RV camping spots too. and across the street of course is the entryway for the station with camping plenty of safe room to ride bikes, awesome loop hiking trail and boating on the river. There are several places to put in a kayak or small boat. The facilities are easy to spot on both sides of A1A and spotless. The Rangers here were immensely helpful and there’s even a small amount of souvenirs. Campgrounds were spacious and quiet during the quiet hours! Looking forward to a return visit.
This campground is a good option for RVs and travel trailers, offering adequate space, though the limited tree coverage can make it uncomfortable during summer months. The site is split between a small area directly on the ocean and an interior section, where we stayed. While the overall experience was decent, the tent sites are quite small, and the bathroom closures from 6:00 to 9:00 AM for cleaning were inconvenient—comparable to a diner closing at peak lunch hours. On the positive side, the campground provides excellent access to the water and is well-maintained. While it may not be at the top of my camping list, others might appreciate features I didn’t fully explore.
The park features a charming little boat ramp, perfect for launching your watercraft. Nearby, you'll find several covered picnic pavilions where families and friends can gather and enjoy meals together. The area is alive with the sight of fish leaping joyfully from the water, adding a dynamic touch to the serene landscape. This delightful park offers a wonderful blend of recreation and relaxation, making it a fantastic spot for outdoor enthusiasts.
Amazing place to camp! The beachside sites are small and tight, but you are quite literally steps from a beautiful beach. Great sunrises, beautiful moon rises, and even got to see a spacex launch. Lots of great places to pop into for a quick bite when we didn't feel like cooking. Clean restrooms and friendly staff. We really enjoyed this state park!
Great quiet beach for walking, picnic, seashell gathering, cleanest bathrooms and shower area ive seen for a beach. Found a little $5 parking area and came during rough tide so we couldn't swim but still had a lovely time
Beautiful and very well kept park!! Whoever is in charge of this park is doing an amazing job. Campsites and bathrooms are all very clean and maintained. We will definitely return 🙂
These park rangers LOVE their jobs and their State Parks!! They were helpful finding other spots to visit and know the area very well! Camp hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Bath houses were spotless.
Really enjoyed my stay here. The beachside camping is amazing and you can’t find a better experience.

If you like old history, it's a place to check out. It has a 3 mile round trip hiking trail before you go through the gate. They have an honor system fee box of 5$ 2 for walking into the park & bikes. There is a road to the L that goes to the ruins. People were fishing of a small dock.
This is an amazing park. If you like nature and history, this is the place for you. I loved the care taken in displaying the artifacts and the ruins. I wish I had found this place sooner.
It was great to see what Old Florida was like. Fascinating and well-preserved ruins of old sugar plantation and mill. Lots of cool educational plaques and exhibits. It's definitely not a big tourist area, which was great
It feels sad and wistful, like a life and an ill-gotten fortune were laid to waste hidden back in the saw palmetto. It almost feels as if it’s *supposed* to be in ruin. Don’t miss this haunting walk through the Florida jungle if you’re nearby.
What a surprise! We arrived at the Bulow Plantation Ruins State Park to launch our kayaks up Bulow Creek, and then return back to the state park. The ruins were so pretty dappled in the golden sunlight. We were the only people there.
What a gorgeous day at a lovely park! We did a short hike in the northern section from the picnic area to the sugar mill ruins. The ruins were lovely to behold. There were restrooms and an interpretive display. Parts of the display could use updating. Don't miss the little trail from the picnic area to the remains of the former slave cabins. It's tucked away in the back, but worth seeking. The entry to the 6 mile trail was closed due to storm damage. We then drove to the southern parking lot. Clean park bathrooms, picnic tables, benches, and a gorgeous old live oak. Two trails - one is a short loop, and the other is the southern entrance to the 6 mile trail. We were not as hardy as we thought we were once the sun came out and the humidity kicked in. We got as far as Cedar Creek and are glad we got to see that! The view from the little foot bridge was amazing.
I thoroughly enjoyed this small slice of history. The old mill is only so persevered, but there is a lot of information plaques about it. There is also an area with old tools and household items that are very well taken care of. I thought it was a great way to enjoy the outdoors and culture. I believe this area has a $4 'trust' payment. You put the cash in an envelope and get a tag to park, so make sure you have a bit of cash when you go. Overall a really nice place and interesting experience.
A really interesting place to learn about some local history of a sugar plantation. There are nature trails all throughout to hike. You can also bike ride there.

The view was perfect and the service was awesome. I was a little quiet. You can never go wrong with wine slushy. We also ordered hummus tapenade served with a warm baguette. You have to try it and sit there and watch the waves roll in.
We LOVE this place! The owners are so friendly and informative of the flavors. We came here last year for the first time and loved it! This is our second stop in here this week😬 We come to Florida every May and this will be a regular stop!
Cool concept. Huge selection of wine slushies. The owner was very friendly. The bread was yummy, too. They got regular wines and spirits as well.
Such a great hangout spot. This was our return visit, so we brought our thermal cups from last time - and camped out.. they have games available, and we spent a bunch of time, going through their options of wine slushies and playing cards. Super friendly staff and fun wine options, right on the beach.
I had a few to try them out, and I was hooked right after my first mango watermelon. Great atmosphere with outdoor seating. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed, but that won't stop me from going.
Ken and Kelly have the perfect place to crash out. Plenty of wine, wine slushy and cocktail options. There are also plenty of meat and cheese tray options for a realistic price. Indoor or nice outdoor seating
I honestly can't say enough good things about this place! From the moment you step in, you're greeted by the most amazing, friendly, and attentive staff who make you feel like you're the most important person in the room. They always go above and beyond to make sure your experience is perfect. The wine slushies are next level—signature selection, refreshing, flavorful, and the perfect way to cool off on a hot day. Seriously, you have to try them! They’re a refreshing twist on the traditional wine experience. (They also have kid-friendly slushies, which my daughter loves) Make sure you pair that with either their charcuterie boards, especially their fresh baguettes! Fresh, warm, and perfectly crusty—honestly, it’s the best! (Of course the desserts are also amazing). Either way, you'll enjoy it in the perfect atmosphere. The view of the beach is breathtaking, whether you're dining inside or on the patio. There's something so relaxing about looking out at the water while enjoying good food and wine. This spot is my absolute favorite place Flagler County. I bring my daughter after a day at the beach as often as I can. Whether you're looking for a cool drink with a view, or just want to relax and enjoy great food, this is the place to be. It never disappoints! Go get slushed!
Wine lovers dream. They have so many fun flavors and combinations of wine in slushy form. New, they have a on site Distillery that makes clear spirits. Also saw a lemoncello on the shelf. Pre-made cocktails are available.

Fantastic museum with a ton of information. If I wasn’t here with my family I would sit down and flip through their incredible library collection! James is very kind and provided a wealth of information! Excited to come back for more!
A hundred years of local history contained within its walls, this is a must visit for Floridians and tourists out of state or from overseas. If you have James on the otherside of the counter, you are in good hands. Highly recommended!
First time here having just moved to Flagler Beach. What an awesome museum. Incredible amount of historical artifacts, the entire layout is very well done with rows of well lit cases filled with interesting items from the past and well described. The wall pictures are amazing. Important literature available for emergencies and state parks etc. I was just passing by on a bike ride and stopped in and was greeted by James Fiske the tourism specialist. We had a great conversation. I could spend hours in there. This is great to see Flagler understands the importance of our history with money well spent. Thank you!
The family and I decided to take a quick walk around Flagler Beach and saw the Flagler Beach Historical Museum was open. I am so glad we did! What a beautiful museum with amazing photos of Flagler beach’s history and events. They also fossils and rocks that were discovered in Flagler. The museum is free but rich with information and memories!
Great place. Staff very knowledgeable. Great experience
Small and free, but the volunteers are knowledgeable about the area, friendly, and willing to share! Donations help them to cover costs.
Had a great time at the Flagler Beach Historical Museum! When I entered I was greeted by two very welcoming people. Then I was given a tour of the museum. The tour was amazing! I learned so much about our town's rich history. One of the many cool things on display was this city of Flagler Beach flag taken into orbit aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour on a flight to the International Space Station in December 2001. Both of the volunteers were very knowledgeable about the history and had amazing stories about Flagler Beach. The museum was also very clean and very well organized. They also have a gift shop where you can purchase books about our local history, postcards, etc. I highly recommend both residents and tourists to stop by the museum and learn about our rich history!
This small local museum only has on street parking out front. It is interesting, but it can be seen in about 20 minutes. Worth a visit if you live nearby.

An absolute beautiful boardwalk with jumping fish everywhere and cute little crabs scuttling along the railings we only saw footprints of raccoons sadly didn’t get to see them and the locals walking were very polite and one was so sweet to let our kids watch him fish and help a little an absolute gem of a place for a summer walk!
This is a great place to take a nature walk with the family. As someone with kids, there are some great things to see, especially the sand tortoises. These are beautiful creatures and to see them in their natural habitat is great. I highly recommend letting the kids blow off some steam and let the parents take in the views here. There is plenty to do here to blow off steam for two hours plus!
Honestly, one of the best dog parks we’ve been to. Clean, secure fencing, plenty of shaded spots, and a little agility course! Plus, there’s a coffee stand right next to it so humans can chill too.
This is one of our favorite spots! Fun playground and great walk over the preserve. Always lots of wildlife to see.
My family's favorite place to go! Nice playground and a wonderful walk over the preserve boardwalk. There's always lots of wildlife to see!
We decided to stop and check this park out today. There is a picnic shelter with bathrooms by the parking lot. We strolled all along the elevated boardwalk which is about 1/2 mile long. The opposite end came out right behind the Flagler Beach Public Library. There is also a nice park in that area. It was a very pleasant walk, however, there is no shade so it can be hot! Part way down the initial part of the boardwalk, there is an opening on each side leading to another trail. We’ll have to explore that another day!
Gopher tortoises galore! Love this place! I always see cardinals when I'm here. Huge pavilion! The scenery is beautiful, though there are a lot of dead trees. Found a baby gopher tortoise, which I was excited to see since most do not survive. Someone left a note in a tree, that was interesting!
It's a nice trail to walk on. My favorite things to see were the tortoises. If you do go, just make sure not to touch them, leave them be.
