Twin Falls

Twin Falls is a city in southern Idaho. It’s known as a gateway to Snake River Canyon, which lies just to the north. At the canyon’s eastern end, Shoshone Falls cascades over a broad series of rocks. Trails along the canyon rim lead to the towering Perrine Bridge, which offers panoramic views and is a popular launching point for BASE jumpers. At the town’s northern edge, Perrine Coulee Falls tumbles over a cliff.

Another underrated natural wonder that should really be more well known! The “Niagra of the West” was nothing short of breathtaking! It wasn’t a difficult walk to see it well, it was inexpensive to enter the park, and it was totally worth the hour+ we drove each way to see it. The nature around it was also gorgeous and unique. Everyone from kids to middle-aged adults loved it. I highly recommend this place if you’re anywhere near it!
This place is awesome! I can see how it would be super busy, there are not that many places to park. With that said, the entrance fee is not that expensive for what you get. I highly recommend visiting! Stunning views and a small little gift shop with trinkets. Did I mention the stunning views? They have a public restroom. Plenty of places to take awesome pictures of the falls. Lots of strategically placed picnic tables throughout the park. Some with fantastic views. Some with pretty good views.
Had an awesome visit to Shoshone Falls near Twin Falls! I popped by around 3 PM after a recommendation, paid just 5 bucks to get in, and there was plenty of parking. The waterfall views were absolutely gorgeous. And a nice surprise: just a few minutes away, I found Dierkes Lake. Perfect spot to chill, not too crowded, and super relaxing. Overall, a great combo of waterfall and lake time!
We went in the fall during the dry season, and it was still worth it. The whole place was breathtaking, and we plan to go back one day in the Spring. There is lots of space for kids to run around and explore, and there were a lot of trails. There was also a lot of interesting information posted about the falls and the history. I particularly liked the sign that told the Native American tale of how the falls were formed.
What a great visit. Had to park at the parking on top due to a waterfall going over the road. A nice 2 mile walk to a few different overlooks. Map shows our walking path. Lots of little waterfalls on the walk making larger waterfalls.
We got lucky... the falls were at full capacity for Late June and running strong. This was a beautiful park with a good balance of shade and natural rock. I loved the lookout point and so did others apparently. It was a popular line for pictures. Honestly, the drive to the falls was just as picturesque as the road winds past small cascades and plenty of nature. Be advised, there is a $5.00 charge for parking but it is well worth the price of admission.
Absolutely beautiful! That's pretty much all there is to say, it was stunning, like a little Niagara Falls. If it wasn't so dammed up, I bet it would be even more epic. It was a wounderful gem to stop by for a picnic while on the road. Besides the falls, they also have a lake you can swim in, and we'll kept grass and picnic areas. A 10/10 detour 😁
Gorgeous falls. We been here several times. Late September water is slow flowing but beautiful all the same. We caught it near sunset, it was worthless the drive out. The swim park was seasonally closed but the fish were huge.

Absolutely amazing!!! People are permitted to base jump off the bridge. They come from worldwide to jump. You can walk out onto the bridge and under it. There is a really nice paved walkway/bike path along side it with scenic overlooks along the way. There is plenty of parking at the visitor center. Make sure you take the route down into the public golf course under the bridge. Stop at the first hairpin turn next to the concrete barriers. You can do a short hike to this amazing fall that I have pictured!!!! Oh and the land under the bridge is for sale for $14,900,000!
Awesome views, a place to think, to seat and relax. Love golfing? Here is the place to relax and enjoy your sport. Beside this beautiful place the area offers you do many restaurants and fast food, hotels and other recreational entertainment. Visit and get delighted .
Beautiful bridge spanning the Snake River. There’s a beautiful Visitor Center right by the one end in Twin Falls, with walkways and a viewing area. There was a 9/11 remembrance the day we were there with a HUGE flag suspended over the gorge. The bridge is two lanes in each direction and you can also walk across it as well.
This was a fun place to run around with the kids for a bit. The visitor's center is cute and well-maintained. It is a great starting point to figure out what to do in the area. We also saw a few base jumpers leap from the bridge, so that was cool!
Absolutely stunning. We were able to stop just across the bridge and walk down to an area that was meant to take pictures from him. It was right. It's beautiful. The weather was nice. The water was gorgeous. The waterfalls across the way the way we are. We're beautiful, and the whole area was just yeah, magic
7/18/25 Perrine Memorial Bridge Twin Falls ID on US-93 It is free to visit and free to park at the Twin Bridge Visitor Center. The bridge is 486 feet high and reaches 1,500 feet going across the Snake River in Twin Falls, ID. You can even take a long walk across it. The bridge is open year-round to BASE jumpers. The only bridge in America that you are allowed to jump off. See the visitor Center for details. More than likely, you will see people getting their shoot packed up. Maybe you'll be lucky enough to see one jump. There is a beautiful view of the bridge and the Snake River from the viewing platform close to the parking lot. It is handicap accessible. Worth the visit!
Beautiful bridge. It's fun to watch the BASE jumpers and even contact an instructor for a tandem if you are adventurous! (BASE Jump The Bridge LLC s who I contacted. Awesome!)
A lovely day with amazing view with the awesome bridge connecting two grounds. Always appreciate things in life and life will be happier.

I had a quick jog from the bridge to the pillar Falls Trail, and down into the canyon. Did a little bit of running through the weeds, the trees, jumping up and down rocks, and some scrambling. My little beagle hung out in the car on dog mode because he was far too tired from our week and a half road trip for another activity. Quite the steep downhill and I’m not sure whether it was worse going down or coming up. Also, it was quite swampy and muddy, making it even funner.
I love this trail. A few small hils, but nothing strenuous. Beautiful views, smooth path, benches along the way to sit on the canyon edge, great for sunsets. Don't think I've ever had a bad experience on the trail. There are a few lookouts, including one over the waterfall at Centennial.
Absolutely beautiful. Lots of parking around the area and very easy to get to. Beautiful place to go for a walk.
Nice path with painted rocks decorating the side. Very hot on a sunny day.
I started at Federation point and walked all the way through the Canyon. This was my first time and there were nice paved walkways and signs for direction.
If you don’t know anything about Twin Falls before going there you’ll know after you almost fall off a cliff
Always beautiful and worth the time spent! This trail used to be pieces that were not connected and, over the years, they've been brought together and you can even walk down into Shoshone Falls. You can spend hours walking this !
Beautiful day. Started at mm 4 and turned around at Evel Kneivel jump site. We've had alot of growth in the area so a good portion of this trail you aren't able to see the Canyon. Maybe they should change this part to Snake trail instead. Paved the entire way. Great for walking, running, biking, and roller blading would be fun.

This park is for the boaters! There are some picnic tables but not for overnight. This park closes at 9pm. All water crafts have to be in line to get your water craft hot water washed off. All water crafts have to be checked in. This doesn't cost anything. You need your Idaho water craft pass, which costs $7. You can buy them online. If you don't have it on the water and the Sheriff's ask you for it, it will cost you $100 fine. The park doesn't require it but they will give you the information to help you out. It was really easy to do. The kayaking entrance to the water is amazing! They have the kayaking ramps, so you can get in and out safely. You can boat to the waterfalls and go under a bridge.
Park is beautiful with plenty of picnic areas. Accessible to swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and boating directly from the park. There is a boat ramp available and places to launch your kayak. Don't forget to stop at the hot wash station if bringing your own watercraft. If you want to rent, there are rentals available at the park. Beware of the mosquitos in late spring and early summer! Remember sunscreen!
Beautiful piece of nature. Clean and well kept. Amazing views. Cat-walk platforms for walking out over the edge of canyon. Not for those afraid of heights!! Very cool for those of us who Love them!!!
It’s nice. They need to upgrade the water front a bit. More walkways along the river, for example. Not sure why swimming is not allowed, but that’s a little lame. The drive down is beautiful. The river and bridge views are nice.
Really neat place. They have so much to do. I want zip lining. It was the best. I'm scared of heights but I did it and loved it. They have kayak rentals and boat tours too.
Beautiful place - we just walked around a bit, didn't really do much while we were here. But the views are awesome.
Beautiful place to explore. You can take a short hike behind the waterfall too!
Had just moved to Idaho about five months ago. With last minute planning, we threw together a trip to Twin Falls for my kids' spring break. Centennial Waterfront Park was great...right in town but so close to great hiking and outdoor adventure. Will definitely be going back. Great pit stop area for in-between adventures.

What an incredible place! We came for Shoshone Falls but this was the gem! Someone there said he’d lived in Twin Falls his whole life and never saw Dierkes Lake this green. So glad we got to see it this beautiful! Ice cold but still beautiful! Love that it’s pet free so the little humans can roll around on the grass all day. Seeing the marmots for them was an added bonus. So glad we had Shoshone Falls on our bucket list so that we could see this place!
A beautiful Lake near Shoshoan falls in the state of Idaho. Walking across the lake on the ramp a wonderful experience.
Awesome lake! Plenty of parking unless you go on a super busy day. Restroom is clean. Plenty of space for kids of all ages to swim. Diving board. Cliff diving. Section for small children. Paddle board rental on site. Go check it out!
So much fun!! Swimming in a blocked off section with a diving board. Plenty of sand for kids and shallow water. Cliff jumping. Playground. Plenty of room for everyone. They have bathrooms and a snack bar. We will definitely be back.
A great place to swim, have a picnic lunch, play on the playground or kayak.
Fun place to visit. Lots of scenery. Great place to swim, climb on the rocks, or walk the trails. I enjoy taking my rc rock crawlers there with my son and my friends.
Wow! If you like to swim and feel very close to nature this is the place for you. Diving board, child swim area, and cliffs right up against the lake. This lake has a lot to do for variety of age groups. You can also rent kayaks. The water is turquoise blue and clean.
I love this place. We had a beautifully sunny weather when we got to the Dierkes Lake. A lot of marmot's walked around. 👍👍👍
