Fantastic stay recently at the Silver Slipper for a golf outing. The rooms were very clean and organized. The restaurant offerings were top tier. Finally the service provided by April (Front Desk) and Susan (Housekeeping) were above and beyond expectations. I highly recommend as this is more than just a casino. And the pool view is amazing!! Andrew
Valet is awesome and has wonderful customer service. Some of the players club staff also have great customer service but a few of them never even crack a smile and are just bland personalities. Sometimes the line is long in player services but they move somewhat fast. The buffet line normally has one cashier and the line is usually long. Wait time isn’t horrible but it could be better with 2 cashier’s. They don’t supply a refrigerator in room but you can rent one for $20 a night LOL yea no thanks. The rooms are charming but sadly outdated and stains on carpet and chairs. It’s not horrible but definitely not luxurious. I’ll keep staying here. I always bring Lysol to any hotel and spray everything down. If they would update everything it would be a very very nice place to stay.
We came to the sliver slipper to get away for a few days.because we had been there before and we had a great time the first.so we decided to go back a second time because the seafood was excellent the first time. So the third time we came back the seafood was not so good. But it wasn’t a problem. But when we went to eat at the buffet this last time we were there . We ate at Palms Court I had a free buffet on my players card but I didn’t use it there because I was saving it for a buffet for that night . Didn’t know that they had took it off. and Still charge me at the same time didn’t tell me I felt like they knew what they was doing and didn’t say anything about it and after we talked to the lady over the the food beverage department she asked for a receipt but she could have pull the receipt up her self instead she asked me for the receipt
Absolutely one of our favorite places to stay on the Mississippi Coast. The staff is so friendly. The rooms are nice and clean. The cafe is opened 24 hours with some of the most delicious food, the servings are so large me and my husband always share a plate and the prices are not expensive at all. The pool area is so relaxing and beautiful with an infinity pool that looks out over the beach. Just be sure to have long pants and a jacket because its always freezing inside the casino and restaurants
BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE.....I stayed at that this hotel for the first time and what a disappointment. I arrived and noticed that there was no hand soap in the bathroom, went downstairs and Mary Cole told me that there was no hand soap in the hotel at all that it was on back order, and that I can use the soap from the shower that is in a pump to use for the bathroom sink. That's pathetic, that you pay full rate for the hotel and they have half ass service/amenities. Also the staff should have told me at the time of booking, or even try to compensate for their lack of needed supplies. The room did not come with a fridge or a microwave. At check out Shannon tried pushing me along, not trying to compensate for the hotels shortcomings. After dealing with the incompetence and lack of amenities I just had to get out of there. Missing basic items at the hotel is PATHETIC on a whole other level. Even the sheets were stained (see attached photos). I booked a stay for 4 days, and cancelled the rest of my stay after day one. Please choose another hotel to go to folks. The food at the buffet was mediocre at best. I really expected better from this hotel/casino and this place simply did not deliver. Don't waste your money there folks. Check out the pictures of the nasty sheets.
I went here for the first time for my birthday. I moved from Virginia to Louisiana and was told word of mouth this was the best crab buffet around. So I went. I have to say I was really impressed and enjoyed this casino and the buffet. Its was a beautiful place to dine and the selection was massive. The up keep of the buffet presentation was excellent. Staff was attentive and made me feel welcomed and cared for. One special thing for me I liked was the seasoning on the crab legs. It was simply delicious and put it way ahead of the competition of other crab buffets. Another favorite for me which was truly unique, was the made to order funnel cake. They had so many toppings to put on it too. Everything from powered sugar, whipped cream, to fresh fruit. They had so many desserts to choose from as well. I cant say enough good things about The Silver Slipper. I loved the secludedness of the property. In Biloxi everything is all crammed up together. The outdoor grounds were just as lovely. It was nice to take a stroll after dinner on the beachfront. Absolutely beautiful.
The air freshener they are pumping into this place is very overwhelming. We used valet and as soon as I stepped out of my car I could smell the overpowering scent. It gave me a headache not long after entering and when we left and returned home, we could still smell it on our clothes. It's way too strong and nauseating.
Have to say that this place stays packed out! Much better casino by far then any other one on the Gulf Coast! The buffet is absolutely delicious and the fine dining Blue Bayou Bar And Grill is a little pricey but well worth it! I wanted crab cakes but were out of crab meat which was a real bummer but I settled in for the 24 ounce steak which was awesome!! Highly recommend this place its a great atmosphere!!

Our third time here and the Casino is making upgrades that directly enhance customer experience. The addition of the Hollydeck and Palisades bars are not only beautiful they create private-ish spaces for drinks and conversation. I like to play slots and the machines are pretty good. I did not go to the Azalea spa because last time I was there the mani/pedi was the most expensive I have ever had and it was mediocre at best. It’s a beautiful spa but obscenely overpriced. The Casino would benefit comparing pricing other spas nearby. The pools are stunning complete with a lazy river. The campground is very nice and we enjoyed our stay there. This is a little gem of a Casino/Resort when we are in this part of the country we will stay here.
We absolutely love the campground here. Our campground manager was Rebecca and she always went beyond to make sure that our stay was pleasant. She was a very hard worker. She took great pride in making sure the facilities were clean. She was very informed about local sources and activities. The hotel could clean the hallway carpets better at the edges. There was thick dust. We would have liked it better if the hotel rooms had a mini frig. The pool was great but could use more umbrellas or sail shades. Thank you Rebecca! Thank you to the front desk staff for collecting our mail!
The rooms are clean and comfy, and quiet. There are no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms - I imagine that is because the property has food and drinks for sale. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The buffet and the grill both had great selections and tasty food. The pool, lazy river, and hot tub we're clean and inviting, and plenty of towels. The golf course was very nice - however, play gets backed up by anywhere from two to four groups as you move along the course. Overall, I found the casino to be extremely loud - I could not stay long during any one session. I'm a craps player, so I was kind of disappointed that the traditional table was closed during most of my visit. The craps play available was those electronic, Pop-o-matic type, and a new hybrid timetable - where everybody plays an electronic console, and takes turns throwing the dice on a maybe 1/3 size table. No chips, and only one dealer running the stick. This visit was mostly a comp - a free room for three nights, two free rounds of golf, one free buffet, and some free table play. This however has no influence on the content of this review. I like this property, and would return again when I'm in the area
We had a Great stay here at the campground. The Casino was really nice and we did well on the Slots. I was unable to get a Players card as hard as Kay and Donna tried it seems the system would NOT issue a card for me. They were SO nice and helpful. Hopefully their IT dept can figure it out. The Buffet was Excellent and we will def be back.
This was the first time I was here. I had a fun time. It's a nice little casino. I enjoyed a day trip there with my parents and grandmother. It definitely seemed to have a crowd that was a little older, but that was just fine considering most of our group. I'd definitely go again.
We had a great Krewe of Venus Royalty Announcement Party in the ballroom. Bar was setup nice and drinks were reasonable. The heavy horderves were tasty especially the boiled shrimp and marinaded crab claws.
We are from Louisiana an we like to get away every now and then. The staff welcomed us with open arms. This was our 1st time here and I can tell you, it will not be my last. Very cleaned and very friendly. Thank yall very much for making our home away from home very pleasant one. Thanks again, Marie & Steve Menard
Bogart's was amazing. Requested a room away from elevator (1223) All was good until I retired for the night. Made calls to the front desk inquiring if renovations were occurring at night because every 4-6 minutes, there was a loud noise that sounded like metal clanging. It went on all night, so as a light sleeper, I didn't get much sleep. It was the following morning around 6:30 that I realized it was the elevator :( Very annoying

I liked this little museum which I did not know was here. Learned about a local artist and had a nice chat about the area with the lady working the museum. The wife and I walked and peered at the paintings and it was certainly a different time she lived in compared to now. It is free and if you are in the area you should check it out if you like paintings.
This was a cute little museum. It was free to enter and look. It did not take a lot of time, and the prints were not too expensive. It's a cute one-time experience if you are already headed that way. I wouldn't go out of my way for it because of how small it is. It is inside of an old train depot and there is a small exhibit doen stairs as well of Carnival attire. If you are making a Gulf Coast trip and like history, it's a niche little spot to check out.
Excellent museum. Wonderful person. Great paintings. Video of her and her history.
Great little museum with a knowledgeable and friendly staff member. The art work and learning about Mrs. Moseley was very interesting and inspiring. Really enjoyed it.
What a cute collection of Alice Moseley's art work! I had never heard of her until a friend and I dropped in here. Very cute stuff. Downstairs is a Mardi Gras museum with costumes and some local history. Upstairs is her artwork, mainly of this area. I can not recommend coming here highly enough. Employees are friendly and passionate. It was sheer joy stopping in here.
I wandered in here after visiting the 100 Men Hall across the tracks from here and I’m so glad I did. The Mardi Gras costumes on display are breath taking. Nice Blues exhibit also. Definitely worth the stop.
My wife and I visited and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed learning and talking with Renne ,she was awesome , friendly and informative . The art was increasable and we really felt welcomed.
Loved the little video of Alice Moseley. Quite interesting. Wanted to buy one of them all! Lol

Alice Moseley Folk Art Museum Loved the charming displays at the museum and this historic site. The area for children to make some art is a wonderful little offering. Alice's story is inspiring and a great reminder for those things that are important in life.
Bay St Louis visitors center was a fun stop to see Mardi Gras costumes and find some local history and things to do in the area
Old train station with Mardi Gras costumes. Upstairs was the Alice Mosley Folk Art Museum. Well worth a visit to learn about the artist who started painting in her 60s and died at 93.
This was my first time visiting this area. The historic train depot was cool with a lot of interesting historic facts I never knew about. The staff were friendly. The first floor showcased the mardi gras costumes, famous Black blues singers, the Spanish trail, the history of Mississippi from the 1700s through to hurricane Katrina. I liked how everything was displayed. The second floor was the artwork of Alice Moseley, whom I had never heard of before. The artwork was nice and showed the life and times through her eyes. However, I was triggered by a couple of the pieces, and I don't get triggered easily. Again, I understand it was history and the times she was living in. However, seeing the Grim Reaper chasing black people with his scythe in the field in one painting and an older white lady sitting in a rocking chair while three young black kids fanned her (who I assume was Alice herself) in another painting, were very triggering and I felt them to be disturbing, distasteful and disheartening to be hanging up and displayed...almost glorifying it. I didn't get pictures of those as I was in shock, I suppose. After that, I wanted to leave Mississippi all together. However, I stayed and explored the next town over. Overall, the depot itself was a good experience.
The old building was neat to check out and looking at the old rail waiting area that for whatever reason Amtrak is not going to use but put a sign on. The lady working the museum greeted us and then retreated to her office to check her phone but that was fine with us. Some neat costumes for Mardi Gras and a large-headed Pete Fountain, jazz clarinet player from New Orleans is in the main waiting area. A back room has some information on the old train station as well as information on nearby Stennis Space Center. After looking about we headed upstairs to the Alice Moseley museum.
The lady in the train depot was so friendly and they have several interesting things inside. It’s also the location for Amtrak boarding. Upstairs is the Alice Moseley Museum and there’s a duck pond a short distance from the depot, you can buy duck food inside.
Friendly staff and interesting history and Marti Gras displays. The Alice Moseley Folk Art Museum upstairs is great too! All exhibits are free and parking is free and plentiful. Set in a nice park.
Wonderful outfits. Don't forget to go upstairs and see the artwork! The Artist lived across the street from Elvis before she moved to Mississippi. The lady running this has amazing stories to share.

Very soft white sand! Lovely, quiet morning walk. The pier has wonderful information signs and numbers for if you see/catch certain sea animals. I really appreciate that.
Spectacular beach with amazing views, low tide and high tide! Water is moderately clear with phenomenal sand. Beach is usually not crowded and there are shops nearby that you can go visit while you're there. 5 stars would come back!
Delightful beach overlooking marina and bridge. Street parking easily available when we came but could see it being a little crowded at busy times. Easily accessible ramp leads down to the beach. Good clean sand with some rocky sections along water’s edge. Tiered stepped concrete breakwater provides seating and sunbathing areas as well as play space for older children. Restrooms, showers and and bonfire pit - available with permit. Best part of the beach is its close proximity to numerous restaurants, bars, shops and hotels. Recommend!
Took the youngest daughter to the beach with 2 of her school friends. A little chilly but beautiful. We just moved here from Northern Indiana. This is a very beautiful city
I didn't capture the best photo of the beach but it was threatening rain and we were leaving so... Nice beach area, lots of parking. People out enjoying their weekend along the water.
This was the first time our family visited Bay St Louis Beach. But it won't be the last. I'll put down the pros and cons here and you can make your own conclusions. Pros: This beach was beautiful. The ocean waves are not rough, the surf is gentle and there is not a massive crowd like you might find at Pensacola Beach. It's not unpopular, but there was no trouble finding a parking spot, the beach is pet-friendly, and the people that were there were friendly. Cons: The sand here was packed hard and brown. It reminded me of Cocoa Beach in the Atlantic. It wasn't much good for sand castles, but if you could BUILD a sand castle with it you probably could weather a hurricane in it. Because it was a little like concrete.
Beautiful beach, not crowded at all in early May! Loved our VRBO and had a blast!
Peaceful. Not crowded at all. Public parking and restrooms. I will definitely come back.

Beautiful church with gospel choir. We were here for Easter mass. Such a welcoming place. Altar and lectern are made out of driftwood and mural incorporates southern oaks.
It's always enlightening to learn historical African American History.
They have the number one Lent dinners around the Bay St louis area.flavor is one point ...delish✨️
Amazing gospel choir and a wonderful welcoming community. The Mass was beautiful!
Such a beautiful church. This church is my friend's favorite church.
I’m not even religious and I absolutely love coming here. The choir is quite literally the voice of the heavens. You can feel something very special happening here. The art and history is also amazing. If I lived in Bay St. Louis, I would go here every week. You’re in the Right Place at the Right Time at St. Rose de Lima!
Nice atmosphere. More charismatic than I expected.
