The best beach for a family and dog friendly. This won't be the "average review", I am a mother of 3 little girls. I also have a support animal. I fled from states away after domestic violence and used every dollar I had the first few weeks to keep my children and I afloat. We searched for a place that was dog friendly, had wifi, a playground and clean bathrooms. Throughout the day and night we had nowhere to stay and used this as a safe space to do schooling and rest during the day. We were unaware of the individuals working the park and that they were keeping an eye on us, we were more focused on just making it through the day and completing school. It was hard and exhausting but by God's grace and mercy he placed us in the right place at the right time and a man with a heart of Gold stepped up and spoke to me and told me he knew our situation and was going to help. I had called every domestic violence shelter and the hotline and didn't receive help, just more numbers to try. This man, Cesar, went above and beyond and helped my girls and I get into communication with those that would and could help. Do not expect God to send help from people you know, he will use strangers to bless you. I pray for blessings over that man, his family and children. We went from a car to a bed in a matter of a few hours after me calling and getting no help for a little over a week. God is good and when you just hang on he will place those who can and will help you in your path. GOD BLESS YOU CESAR AND MRS. MINA FOR HELPING MY GIRLS.
My family and I visited Amelia Earhart Park on Thursday, 10/3/2024, and had a wonderful experience. Although we didn’t get to explore the entire park, the parts we did see were fantastic. We spent time at a small playground, which was perfect for the kids, and then took a walk along a lovely path that features a beautiful butterfly garden and a workout area. The workout section is great because it offers machines that allow you to use your own body weight for exercise—perfect for an outdoor fitness session! We also noticed there’s a dog park, which seemed like a fun spot for pets and their owners. Parking was free, which is a great perk on weekdays, but be aware that there’s a fee for parking on weekends. While walking around, we saw lots of people working out, biking, skating, and enjoying the fresh air. There’s so much more to explore here, and we can’t wait to come back for another visit. Highly recommend this park for families and fitness enthusiasts alike!
Nice spot to enjoy with family and friends. It has tennis and soccer courts, so if you’re looking for a place to play and aren’t quite sure where to go, this is the perfect place🙃
It was a great time, there's a nice food stand to get some snacks and drinks, there's some much space to walk around great for bike riding and you could also rent a family bike too! The barn though, the times are very unconvenient, the times are 11:00AM-3:00PM. The park great, there's a lot to do, but they remove and ban from u climbing the cave there it's a shame really. Again it's a really go place for exercise or for family, 4 stars
Good park , wish the roads and trails were well defined and easy to follow but it has plenty of playground, shelters , a Small Farm close by and plenty of space for parties and fun activities . Just needs maintenance to be 5 Stars
Great MTB trail with bike washing stations. Nice flow of the trails and are sectioned into Beginner, intermediate and advanced sections to fit riders of various skill levels.
Wonderful park. It’s clean with plenty of parking and even areas to grill. The option to go wakeboarding is nice too!
Amelia Earhart Park is one of the most beautiful and versatile parks in the Miami area. With over 500 acres of green space, it offers something for everyone — from wide open lawns and scenic lakes to trails for biking and walking. The lake views are especially relaxing and make it a perfect place to disconnect from the city. Families will love the playgrounds, picnic areas, and the petting zoo, which is always a hit with kids. There are pony rides, opportunities for fishing, and even water sports for those who want more active fun. The park is also dog-friendly, which makes it easy to enjoy the outdoors together with pets. What I appreciate most is how well the park is maintained and how safe and welcoming it feels. It’s a place where you can come for exercise, family outings, or simply to enjoy nature. Truly a gem in the area — highly recommend visiting! 🌟

On my first visit to the Everglades I had limited time so chose Macks due to its proximity to Miami and my gut instinct it would be an ethical and decent operator. I was not wrong. Marshall took me out with little notice, for an excellent couple of hours where he stopped to show and talk about the history and importance of the Everglades ecosystem and the indigenous people who have lived there. Macks is a family run outfit and with them you benefit from 5 generations of knowledge and wisdom. For me, it was clear that Mack's ethos is to protect and treat their environment in a sustainable way. I would highly recommend Macks and will return.
Oh my gosh, the most amazing fishing experience I’ve ever had. We caught over 100 fish and had to call it a day and we got tired. It was amazing. Marshall knew so much about the environment and we learned so much about southern Florida in the Everglades in the history of Florida, I cannot recommend this place more.
It was so much fun!! We had a great tour with Marshall!! We only booked an hour and he didn’t rush us at all and we ended up being there for as long as we wanted. He let us play with his dogs, cats, and even his pig. We saw some big alligators and had so much fun on the water. I’m already missing it and want to go back. Lots of history in that place!!
If you’re looking to spend some time in the Everglades, this is the spot to do it! From the moment we arrived we were greeted and the fun began. Our guide Jim was a happy go lucky guy and knew so much about this special wetlands ecosystem. We saw the birds, beautiful water lily’s, and the gators! This spot is so much more than a tour, it’s a total immersive nature experience. My family and I had a blast. We will for sure be back! Thanks again Mack’s Fish Camp!
Wow—what an amazing experience! Mack’s Fish Camp is the real deal—authentic, exciting, and just all-around awesome. The tour felt so personal, and we saw so many alligators up close! Our guide, Jim, was incredible—always on the lookout for cool wildlife, and he made sure we got the best views. We also learned a ton about the history of the area, the birds, and the unique ecosystem of the Everglades. And let’s talk about the airboat—so much fun! At times, we were flying across the water, which made it even more thrilling. Then there’s Marshall, the owner—you can just tell how much he loves and cares for this place. He’s the kind of person who makes an experience like this even more special. I can’t recommend Mack’s Fish Camp enough, and I seriously can’t wait to go back! If you’re looking for a truly authentic Everglades adventure, this is it.
This was such a great day! So so many alligators and I learned so much about them as well. Marshall took his time and explained the eco system of the area. He’s 5 generations living here and passionate about what he does. He pointed out not only alligators but other wildlife and plants in the area. The air boat was a lot of fun too! We were up close and personal to the gators. We saw them eating and catching fish. A day I will always remember!!
Absolutely the best tour I have ever paid for!! Marshal was a very fun guide and showed us all the things you’d want to know and see about the Everglades!
Without a doubt, the best in the business!! For those of you who want a true Florida taste, experience the glades like a true local and avoid the cheesy tourist traps. Marshall is your man

Shopping mall
Shopping
Traditional enclosed shopping mall offers familiar retail shops, chain eateries & department stores.
Slide 1 of 8
Westland Mall in Hialeah is a convenient shopping destination with a variety of stores, dining options, and services for the local community. The mall features a mix of popular retailers, such as Macy’s, JCPenney, and Bath & Body Works, alongside smaller boutiques that cater to different tastes and budgets. Whether you’re looking for clothing, shoes, beauty products, or gifts, you’ll likely find what you need. The food court offers a range of dining choices, from fast food like Chick-fil-A to casual sit-down options, making it easy to grab a meal or snack while shopping. There’s also plenty of seating, so it’s a comfortable spot to relax. One of the mall’s highlights is its accessibility. Parking is usually available, and the layout of the mall is straightforward, so navigating it is easy. However, it would be great if the management worked on updating certain areas, as some sections of the mall feel a bit dated. The mall can get crowded during weekends and holidays, but the atmosphere remains lively and welcoming. Westland Mall isn’t as large as some other shopping centers in Miami, but its convenience, friendly service, and diverse offerings make it a solid choice for a day of shopping or leisure.
Westland Mall is a solid shopping destination if you’re looking for convenience without the overwhelming crowds of larger malls. It has a good mix of stores, from popular retail chains to smaller local shops, making it easy to find clothes, shoes, and accessories without having to drive too far. The food court has some decent options, and there are also a few good restaurants nearby if you want to grab a meal after shopping. The mall itself is clean, well-maintained, and easy to navigate. Parking can get a little busy during peak hours, but it’s usually not too bad compared to other malls in the area. One thing I appreciate about Westland is that it still has a bit of an old-school mall vibe. While it may not be as modern or high-end as some of the bigger shopping centers, it’s a reliable spot to get errands done, find good deals, or just walk around for a bit. Overall, if you’re in Hialeah and need a convenient place to shop without the hassle of a massive crowd, Westland Mall gets the job done. It’s not the biggest or fanciest mall, but it’s a comfortable and practical option for locals.
Its a small mall considering the size from other malls. But it's clean, we'll literally, friendly employees, the a/c however needs to be turned down a few notches to keep it cool. We were feeling hot and unable to breathe properly due to the warm temperatures in the mall. Noticed a lot of timeless stores were closed. Sad 😔. But the mall was full of shoppers. The food court was clean spotless, the GEA's 2 of them were continously working maintaining the floors, tables, trash receptacles emptied and clean. Noticed that a lot of food places were also gone even McDonald's was closed. All in all mall was nice and food court was good.
Once this mall was the go to place for fine shopping. Unfortunately it is a mere ghost of what it once was. With Sears gone as well as the Sears Automotive the rest of the stores are serving a younger demographic. Several of the stores are not well kept or clean. The staff in several stores are more interested in playing with their cellphones than serving customers. Their is a good selection of restaurants that are doing well as well as Macys of course. Parking is plentiful and close to the entrances. I hope management of some of these establishments step up and revamp their look as well as the staff that is unwilling to service the clients. This is my hometown and I wish the best for its success.
This mall is not the same and will NEVER be the same. SEARS was the ACUTAL LIFE LINE for this mall.Ever since SEARS closed down. There have been MANY UNKNOWN BRAND STORES, and Mom and Pop stores that have opened and closed. This mall is being driven to the ground, looking Run Down. Do to ALL of the above mentioned. This mall will be a GHOST MALL and, UNFORTUNATELY.Will CLOSE DOWN / SHUT DOWN. What a SHAMEE and LOSS to the GREAT CITY of HIALEAH.
This mall is great lots of stores, very clean, a good food court. The parking area is huge. The mall is very small. The upside is you can come in and out. I come here a lot to buy clothing and shoes.
I have never seen a more disgusting office depot i. any other place. The store had a foul odor permeating throughout the entire store. The smell was similar to rotting eggs. How can management allow a store to fall into such disarray with filthy carpets filled with old hardened chewing gum. The gum is especially prominent in the store entry. The cashier was nice. I promise I could not get out of this store fast enough. I don't plan on returning.
One of the first shopping malls in south Florida , still a great place to do your apparel, jewelry & accessories shopping. I always have a great time there , wish they could have more pub bars …

Went here for my birthday with my friends and his dad, and had a blast for my first time. We searched all around for spots and landed here. The price for renting and ammo was well with my wallet. Truly truly I do not have any complaints of this place at all.
Florida Gun Range was an amazing experience! The staff was very helpful and attentive from start to finish. Our instructor, Maurice, was excellent—super knowledgeable and made everything easy to understand. Tracey was also incredibly kind and guided us through the entire process. I went with three friends, and we all loved it and had a great time. Highly recommend!
I wouldn’t recommend this store. The front crew is very unprofessional and unpleasant. All 3 of them there had a very bad attitude towards the costumers, including myself. I went to ask a question about a course and they totally ignored me, meanwhile they were mocking a costumer that had left frustrated with them attitude. Mauricio, the course professor is very nice and polite! He treated me very well and he’s the only reason that I would ever come back here.
Arturo is amazing. First time visiting the establishment. Registration instructions were clear and simple. The range itself is clean and very professionally kept. Will visit again. Enjoyed my rifle experience.
I spent 21 years in the army infantry deployed 4 tourist to combat 49 months and combat total for some young kids to tell me how to shoot a pistol and a care for it when I was shooting pistols and caring for them before they were born, never ever roll up on a person that has hearing protection on That is clearly a veteran and creep up behind him to try and talk to him. Reloading your ammo on the floor is no different than if I was on the table loading ammo 3 foot difference so I’m confused on that rule however, I will never be coming to this range again. The guy that helped me at the counter was great probably could explain the rules a little better however, the really skinny guy in the gray shirt probably needs to go find some other place of employment
The instructor was super helpful and patient. The whole experience was surprisingly fun and it gave me confidence. What am I scared of now? Absolutely nothing.
Excellent store, very friendly staff and fantastic selection. Low transfer fees and a nice range right next door. I've bought almost every firearm I own from this location and I'll continue to do so. Can't recommend enough!
Mauricio was our instructor and his knowledge is unmatched. He made me and my family comfortable to fire and eased our fears! We will be back!

I took a large group to Miami Guns & Range, most of whom had little to no experience with firearms, and we had the best time. Carlos is a fantastic instructor and incredibly knowledgeable. The staff were incredibly accommodating and rhe nicest people. Would highly recommend this experience!
Convenient location, great membership rates, wait is usually not that long, even on the weekends. Lanes are clean and equipment works well. Prices are reasonable for ammo and rentals. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Been shooting for a long time, and can safely say that this is a good range.
We came here as a last minute adventure whilst in Miami and fired a Glock 19 and an AR-15. Was the other halfs first time shooting and we all loved it. Staff were great too and very helpful.
It was my first time shooting and I absolutely loved it! The service was really pleasant, the team was friendly and made me feel comfortable. The guns are in great condition and of high quality, which made the whole experience even better. Coming from a small French island, it was something completely new for me — 100% fun from start to finish. I definitely recommend it — a solid 10/10
First time for me schooting and holding a gun and it was amazing, I got Great and clear instructions on everything. The people were all very Nice and polite. 10/10 would recommend if you’re shooting for the first time.
Great experience from start to finish. The staff here is knowledgeable, patient, and willing to answer any questions without rushing you. They have a wide selection of firearms, ammo, and accessories at fair prices. The store is clean, organized, and makes you feel comfortable whether you’re a first-time buyer or experienced. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends
Miami Guns is hands down one of the best gun ranges in Miami. Every time I come here, the staff goes above and beyond to make sure the environment is safe, professional, and welcoming. They don’t just run a range, they build a real community around it. I’ve always felt supported here, whether it’s answering questions, making sure everyone is comfortable, or keeping the facility top-notch. On top of that, they’re constantly showing love to their customers with raffles and giveaways. I’ve been lucky enough to win more than once! If you’re looking for a range that combines professionalism, great energy, and community support, Miami Guns is the spot. Highly recommend.
The owner Frank was very welcoming and extremely helpful in getting his friendly and knowledgeable staff to get me set up as a first time shooter. They were patient and the experience was great. I highly recommend them

I recently visited the Miami Watersports Complex and had an incredible experience. The variety of activities offered is impressive, catering to all skill levels. The staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive, ensuring that I felt comfortable and confident throughout my time there. Their enthusiasm and professionalism really made the experience stand out. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced watersport enthusiast, this is the perfect spot for some fun on the water. Highly recommended! A special operator named Boris is great he helped me get up for my first time!
Fantastic experience the boat captain/ instructor was amazing. He was friendly, knowledgeable and a joy to be with.
My 12 years old did a summer camp there last June and had a blast. Grace, Bryan, Anthony, Fabrice and the entire staff (I just don’t know everyone’s name) are super nice, friendly, helpful. My son learned pretty easily and improved fast. I love this place. It has such a relaxing vibe. We just took the membership so he can go whenever he wants now. I totally recommend it
Amazing wake park with killer rails. We had a great time riding. There is also a small cable for beginners so no cues.
The pros: big park, great kickers. Everything else sucks--workers aren't friendly at all, equipment is somewhat old, tons of crap on the docks.
Miami Watersports Complex is an amazing spot for water activities with plenty of options like wakeboarding, tubing, and the fun aquapark. The staff is friendly and helpful, making beginners feel comfortable and confident. A perfect place for families and groups to enjoy a fun, active day outdoors.
Great cable park! I've been to many parka and this is one of my favorites!! And the staff is very nice and great, they are always helping you learn and get better. I've been riding for over a year and learning new tricks and hitting new obstacles and every time they give me tips to enhance. 100% recommended either if it's your first time or if you have been riding for a while.
This is one of the best places in the world to spend an afternoon, hands down. From the great, friendly, passionate, and helpful crew, to the music, to the setting, to the equipment, and the other riders. MWC is a vibe all it's own and I'll be a regular for life.
