Absolutely incredible facility. This place has generational character, and a story that warms the heart. As a place of joy zipping from tree to tree while observing the scenery from within the depths of the wilderness, this family owned business has a knowledgeable and friendly stuff. We never felt rushed and always felt safe and comfortable while on the lines. This was my first time ever, and I was able to overcome my fears. When you first arrive you'll head in and get all the payment and waivers sorted out, you'll then proceed to get geared up, and then get some instruction on the gear, before you head to the first meeting area to gather the group and go over the instructions for zipping. Dylan and Krista were our guides, and took us through a wonderful experience and confidently had us and the group laughing and having fun while sharing stories and getting to know one another. They had mentioned that larger groups can get congested but ultimately encourage everyone to take it all in every chance you get. TYSM to the entire staff and family here at Indiana ZipLine Tours. We look forward to coming back with the rest of our family.
We had a blast! Our guides were spectacular, Bill and his wife, whose name I cant remember. They were amazing with my 4 year old son, who had a blast!! This was his first time to zipline. They were so kind and did all they could to make this a wonderful experience! We would love the opportunity to come back!!
An all around excellent experience. The guides and staff are great. 5 and 9 year olds both had a blast. There are 8 total lines in the course with the 3rd and 8th being the longest and fastest. It uses the contours of the land so there are few stairs.
Had an amazing time with the family. Family friendly activity that was enjoyed by our 12 and two 8 year olds. Staff was friendly and made the experience feel safe while still keeping it fun. We will definitely be back. Great outdoor activity to enjoy the natural beauty.
This place eas so awesome and worth every penny to do. The staff were super friendly our tour guides Cory and Drew were a lot of fun. Enjoyed a game of corn hole at the end of our zipping
This was so much fun. My first Zipline and it was incredible. Cory and Dylan were awesome. Always felt safe and comfortable. Will do again!
Me and my friend had blast but you gotta have a good crowd! Our tour guide Kaden made the trip fun for us!!
We arrived 4 hours before our appointment due to travel time, and they allowed us to go as soon as we got there. We went as family of 4, ranging from ages 7 yrs-40+. The first run was scary, because you don't know what to expect. My middle child was hesitant, but after a few minutes went for it! He had a great time!! After the fear of the first line, it's fun, exciting, and almost therapeutic. We had a great time and could have done gone on several more runs. Our guides were Krista and Caden. They are very knowledgeable, kind, funny, encouraging, and comfortable. It's a very clean, organized, and professional set up. I HIGHLY recommend this amazing place!

Our tour guide was amazing! The facility and history are so interesting and well worth the trip! Be sure to check the hours for the correct season. They’re closed on holidays and some days near holidays. I’ve heard from a local that at times they have even closed early (like 2pm). In October it was open 10am - 3pm. We did get in successfully right at 10am on a Friday.
I had an incredible experience visiting the Rotary Jail! The history of the place is fascinating, and the unique design of the jail is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. What made the tour even more special was our guide, Britney. She was so knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the jail, making the whole experience come to life. Her enthusiasm and attention to detail kept us engaged throughout the entire tour. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by and asking for Britney as your guide. It’s a must-see historical gem!
GREAT find and place! I’ve been wanting to come here for a while but it didn’t work out until now. This old time jail and museum are super cool to see. The concept, the pictures and information there brings you back in time. The tour was self guided and you can roam freely between floors and jail cells and take your time looking through the museum artifacts. This small but packed full place is definitely worth stopping at! One of three locations left to witness these engineering marvel of its time!
My sister and I really enjoyed the visit to this museum. Brittney was very informative and pleasant. We appreciated all the signs and information posted on the walls and near the exhibits. It is very well thought out and displayed museum and the photo props were a fun extra touch. We highly recommend a visit here!
Certainly a unique historical experience. The "operating" rotary jail, out of the 18 built in the USA. Three still exist but only this one can turn, via a manual crank. The Crawfordsville sheriff and family lived in the main, two-story front, the jail behind. There are 8 cells on two floors, two prisoners per cell, a multi-bunk women's cell, and three infirmary cells on the top floor, and a solitary confinement cell. One guard could manage the entire facility.
Absolutely phenomenal, interesting and educational… and the staff member that was there (I believe her name was Elizabeth, but I could be I could be wrong) went above and beyond… I highly recommend a visit!
The first time I came they were closed and there was nothing on Facebook... So that was a bit frustrating... However, I went on Thursday at 11am the next week and they were open! Everything was very well set up for either a tour or just time to explore. Signs were very detailed and helpful, it was easy to navigate, and everything is in great condition. There is also a gift shop! It was a bit sparse in supply while we were there, but I'm sure they'll restock soon. I will note though that this place, understandably, is not super accessible. I was with someone using a walker and it was very difficult to get up the stone steps, through the door (it only opened on one half of the french-style doors), and through the narrow doorways. He also had to opt out of exploring the upper levels of the jail. Unfortunately this is likely not the place for you if you need assistance walking or are in a wheelchair.
After checking out of my hotel outside of Indianapolis I wanted another new or interesting thing to do before my 4 hour drive to Milwaukee. I am a sociologist and find the history of our prison system interesting so when I found this place in a search I knew I needed to stop. This was a worthwhile stop for sure since I was unfamiliar with this type of jail system built in the 1800s. There are only 2 left standing and this was the only one that still rotated. They closed after 50 years because of safety reasons. This jail was used as a drunk tank. I spent maybe a little more than an hour visiting but overall I think most would stop for about 30-45 minutes top. I had a really interesting talk with the guide about our prison system and the uniqueness of this type of system. It is definitely worth a stop so check it out!

Fantastic museum. Our guide Thomas Meeks was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. Simply afternoon well spent
Got a great tour from an enthusiastic guide last saturday at around 12:30 yesterday. Learned a lot and got to enjoy the legacy of a great man, learned a lot about Wallace's place in history and steeped myself in late 19th century intellectual culture. Great place. Tour did not take long and you were allowed to enjoy a great deal of freedom in looking around the study and grounds.
Beautiful place that has been almost frozen in time. Wonderful experience in every way, very knowledgeable guide, beautifully kept, rich history.
This was one of the most amazing stops we made the young man who did the tour was incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about everything blue Wallace. Blues library was amazing it was just so fun. Most definitely worth a stop.
Been a MOCO Resident for over 30 years and have never been to the General Lew Wallace Study went recently on a field trip with my daughter and couldn’t believe we have gone this long and never took in the history that was right out our door!! Highly recommend!! If your local or not totally worth it!!
What a nice fun little spot, tour guide is super knowledgeable and friendly, clean bathrooms and nice gift shop, all original stuff in the museum, nice break on our way home
What a wonderful treasure of knowledge... In the heart of America someone is able to completely leave a legacy...
A wonderful place to visit. The tour guide, Tom, was very informative. His love of history was evident. The Lew Wallace story is an important part of Indiana History.

Great place. Excellent displays in very good condition. Very friendly staff added a personal touch in answering any question. Love the Japanese Type 97! Wow didn't expect that. We will go back. Kids had a blast playing with "Jeep" the tank cat.
Very disappointed! We were driving to VA through Crawfordsville from Iowa and this was one of our stops and took the time to drive out there and a sign said closed July 31st. It is still showing they are open on their site.
It was the best museum to learn about all different wars America was involved in. Each piece of equipment was done in top tip shape and the all ran. The owners and machanic put there heart and soul in each and every piece!!
Great collection of military vehicles. The kids enjoyed climbing inside several of them. The volunteers are knowledgeable and tell great stories.
I went through it recently, spent the afternoon with skip, their right hand for several year.Hes very informed and work with Fred on almost everthing.still miss Fred but that's life Gene
Super awesome tank museum. It's located in the boondocks, but it's still worth the drive.
Very informative. Loved that you could actually get inside a few of them.
Closed as of summer of 2017, collection is being broken up to other collectors.

Tons of treasures to look though. 4 floors to explorer. Very helpful people there.
I found the littlest GrandAngel her 1st Levi's denim jacket. Found her first rootbeer mug and my husband a homemade Ford key holder. Happy finds and fond memories remade going in there.
Nice sized antique mall, pretty decent prices, LOTS of stuff, so be prepared to squeeze. Hope the roof gets fixed. The leaks on the top floor look bad
Pretty large supply of antiques, three floors. There is a pretty bad mold problem on the top floor, so if you're sensitive you may want to avoid this spot. I was able to find a few comic books, but no more than five or six.
Was in Crawfordsville downtown when I stumbled across this amazing 4 story antique mall. I surprised myself when I realized I had made I thought was gonna be a 15 min look around into a 3hr visit. This place is huge with treasures & trinkets around every corner, antiques gallore. It's a must stop & look around place & I bet that you can't stay only 15 mins. I also spotted this AMAZING ANTIQUE VICTORIAN BEDROOM SUIT I would have loved to had... Look at the detail that went into making this beautiful bed.
A very nice and diverse assortment of antiques and collectibles from large furniture pieces to small curios. I thought prices were a little high on average, but there are a lot of reasonably priced things in good condition. The store has a mezzanine and upper floor so there is more to see than you might think on first glance. Proprietors are cordial and on street parking is relatively easy to find.
Has the cutest and coolest stuff there it's so cool. And the employees were so nice and sweet
Three levels of antiques, collectable, crafts, and all sorts of interesting items.

Very nice people! Great little place, off the beaten path. Good wine and prices.
Great local winery. Great couple running the place … answer all your questions vast knowledge of their wines … relaxed atmosphere and an adorable dog for extra charm
Really nice place to stop and enjoy their good wines and have a great conversation with owner and others. Nice patio to sit on. Friendly dog! Highly recommend the visit.
Great stop! Had a couple of sweet wines but mostly dry. We had four glasses and liked them all. They offer free tastings of any of their wines which is nice since a lot of places charge. They had a table inside with free snacks like charcuterie meats, cheeses, and crackers. We sat outside with our dog and the man working (owner)? greeted our dog with a treat. They also have a resident dog named Paco who is a sweet boy. Not far from the interstate and was a pleasant place to stop and stretch our legs. Will be back when in the area.
Some of the best wines anywhere. Great atmosphere and service!
I have been to Coal Creek Winery many times. The owners are open and friendly. The wines range from very sweet dessert wines to very dry reds, like the Norton. There is something for everyone at Coal Creek. They have an outdoor patio for relaxing with a glass. Snacks are often available. Enjoy a tasting, share a glass with a friend, and bring home a bottle (or several) of your favorite(s).
We stayed for a short amount of time but the place is cozy, the host was very friendly, the wines that we sampled were delicious, and the dog walking freely by the seating area was adorable.
Small winery with few choices. However, each wine was excellent. We enjoyed our time visiting with the owner.
