A very nice place to visit. You can join as member or pay when you visit. I have been here couple of times mostly summer. Yesterday visit was nice as it has Halloween 🎃 theme and trolls. It was a nice walking under the on and off rain and warm. This place is nice to visit with ftiends and families and has walking trail beside the garden.

A splendid walk. Walk in a park-like setting to see amazing trolls, gorgeous gardens and a bountiful Mansion. Accessibility paths available. Parking for the special events can be a bit tight so be patient or early. They're Halloween seasons had lots of pumpkins to enjoy for families. Many little playgrounds to climb around on too. I hope the trolls do save the humans.

Took the family on a Sunday evening. Didn’t know what to expect. Absolutely a good time. The property was well decorated. The house was beautiful. The grounds were vast, but fun (especially for the kids). Just a great time.

Beautiful location for the family. The Trolls exhibit was so much fun for the little to find. Walking to the gardens was pleasant and an adventure to stroll the different parts of the garden...put your feet in the pool. There was even a flower shop to buy plants and garden items. There are restrooms throughout the gardens, and they are very nice. The staff is really friendly.

A wonderful afternoon with family here today! We all loved the Trolls and walking through the woods! My grandsons both loved it here!! The restrooms were very clean and maintained! Don't miss stopping in at the gift shop!! Would have shared more pictures but I never post pictures of our grandkids on social media.

I absolutely LOVE Filoli gardens!!! I just wish they had a better bar area. We went last week and thought that they would already have mulled wine and didn't 😔💔 I hope im the future they have more drinking choices especially for winter: mulled wine, hot cider, hot authentic chocolate versus powder, hot chestnuts like in Europe , etc etc 🙏🍷🍷🍫🍫🌰🌰

Filoli is a beautiful estate with a stunning house and gorgeous gardens. It offers a nice glimpse into the Bay Area’s past. The on-site restaurant is a bit overpriced, and the food is just okay, though they also have food trucks as an alternative. Parking is free and easy to find. I do recommend visiting—I spent a lovely afternoon there.

Today I walked 10 miles in 5 hours 25K steps on my step counter, starting from North Ridge Parking lot, North Ridge Trail, Whittenmore Gulch Trail, Purisima Creek Trail, Craig Britton Trail, Harkins Ridge Trail back to North Ridge parking lot. I highly recommend this route. It was stunningly beautiful all along. I believe there was 2000 foot elevation. All along, it was nicely marked and well maintained trails. Yes, I saw that Banana Slugs. The parking lot was completely open at 7:30am. It was foggy cold 45 degrees to start so put on good layers and have hand gloves (mid-April). Later, T-shirt was sufficient. It is completely wooded, covered with tall redwoods. It is a must visit for any mid level hiker. Enjoy!

One of my favorite parks for trail running, these trees and magnificent. Feels like you are very immersed in nature, and some trails even offer views of the bay. 😍 There is free parking lot by the trailhead, but people also park on the sides of the street once that fills up.

Being a PNW lover, I wasn't expecting what I experienced when I visited the Preserve. We walked along the Grabtown Gulch Trail on a beautiful Saturday morning, and were mind blown with the ethereal views. It was so perfect - lush green trees with cute little banana slugs, mist, fog and the sound of rain and a stream alongside. Definitely a hike I would recommend, and with its possibilities to add a few more trails on the way to create a loop with the Purisima Creek Trail is the cherry on top!

This hiking trail in half moon bay is amazing. The hike is strenuous but every step is worth it. Limited parking space. Need to well clothed to hike this trail. A wonderful hike. Recommend visiting this place.

Purisima Creek is a beautiful redwood forest with easy access from Skyline Blvd 35 and Half Moon Bay. This Open Space has a variety of trails with great views of rolling hills and green trees. When not foggy, you can clearly see the blue sea in Half Moon Bay. Most of the trails are up and down, so it takes a certain strength to finish a long run or hike. There are many ways that you can go for a short and leisure hike, though. Happy hiking! Most of the time Purisima is serene, especially under the big redwood trees, yet it may get a bit crowded on weekends and peak hiking hours.

Absolutely a great tour of the vineyard and the winery with a lot of great details on the history, the vine cultivation and wine making. On top of the tour, we have been delighted by the wine tasting, with all the different type of wines, through the different domain and vintage. We really enjoyed our time at the winery and I highly recommend this tour and tasting to everyone.

It is a small local winery located in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Unlike most other wineries, it is located on top of the mountain. I think the founder came here because he wanted a cool climate. It's better to dress a little thick because it's on top of the mountain. Since it's a small winery, the vineyard is rather small. There is not a lot of wine produced every year. In a way, it's a rare wine that you can't find anywhere else. The view down the mountain is very cool. You can taste and buy wine in the shop. Lexington 2014 vintage was tasted and bought. It was pretty good. Thomas Fogarty brand chardonnay 1998 vintage wine was selected also with an affordable price. Vintage 1998 is the taste of pain in Korea, which almost ruined the country due to the economic crisis. I should share it together at the wedding celebration of my best friend since pain is one of strong taste of marriage.

I’ve visited many wineries in both the U.S. and France, and unfortunately, Thomas Fogarty ranks as one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The lack of management and customer care completely ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing afternoon. On a beautiful Saturday, my husband and I decided to visit after seeing on their website that they offer a “casual walk-in mini flight.” We drove 40 minutes, excited to enjoy some wine and the beautiful scenery. When we arrived, one of the two staff members told us she needed to check with the manager and asked us to wait. We sat there for about 20 minutes while she continued to serve other guests, only to be told later that they couldn’t accommodate us — even though there were clearly several open tables. It was obvious they were severely short-staffed, but instead of communicating that upfront, they left us waiting without any consideration. The lack of organization and respect for customers was disappointing and frustrating. The staff seemed stressed, which made the atmosphere tense and far from enjoyable. To top it off, the wine is overpriced for the quality. With so many amazing wineries in the Bay Area that truly value their guests, this one is not worth your time.

This is a great winery to visit in Santa Cruz Mountains. It’s located higher up so you get a really nice view of the city, if it’s clear. I tried their Lexington Flight which consisted of one white wine with 4 reds to follow (mix of cab’s and merlots). The wines were light and not overpowering with flavor and the one white wine I had I really enjoyed (I’m not a big white wine drinker). They have a nice outdoor patio and allow you to bring your own food and pets to enjoy a nice outdoor lunch. I definitely recommend checking them out b

Visited on a Friday afternoon after making reservations a couple days before on Tock. They currently have 2 tasting flights to choose from: Thomas Fogarty and Lexington. We were fans of their 2017 Will's Cabin and Mindego Ridge Pinot Noir on the Fogarty flight and the 2014 Gist Ranch Cab Franc and 2016 Gist Ranch Cab Sauvignon on the Lexington flight. One thing that did surprise us was the cost of the bottles, especially the Pinot and Chardonnay. Service was great, and our server was very knowledgeable about the wines and terroir. They allow light bites if you're sitting outside, so we were also able to bring our own charcuterie board makings. Although our table was in the sun, I'd still recommend bringing a jacket since it can get pretty windy. The outdoor seating has a view of the parking lot so definitely save some time to walk around the property before you leave. Fantastic views!

Disclaimer: This review is based on visiting the establishment as a wedding venue only, and not as a winery. I had some of their wines, but not their wine tasting. Came here for my cousin’s wedding. I couldn’t believe how difficult it was to drive up there, but good thing my cousin arranged buses for us. I’m just glad I didn’t have to drive. The winery was tucked away, but had an absolutely gorgeous view. Due to COVID times, we were outdoors most of the time including dinner. The weather was almost perfect even as it cooled down during the evening, it was still not too cold. Only got to taste their Pinot Noir, which was easy to drink and good enough for me. Looking on their website, a bottle of Santa Cruz Mountain Pinot Noir costs $38. Not too shabby. The dance floor indoor was a bit small that maybe only 20-30 people could all dance at the same time, but other than the small space, the design was fine. Given its facilities, spectacular views, and nice weather, this place was great for a wedding. I had a wonderful time.

Steep but shaded trails with plenty of birdsong. Not too much horse dung on the Bear Gulch trail after the first few hundred yards. Even saw a Great Horned Owl! Great place if you like wooded, shaded trails like I do. Fair amount of parking available.

My partner and I had never hiked in the Bay Area before. We didn’t have hiking boots and poles, but we still had a great experience. We arrived around 4:30 PM and completed the loop by 6:30 PM. Wunderlich County Park turned out to be a perfect trail for beginners or for those without special hiking gear. The trail is mostly shaded thanks to the tall trees, which made the walk comfortable even in the late afternoon. We also spotted many small birds along the way. Highly recommend this trail!

Really big beautiful redwoods and Doug firs. The iris were stunning in May, but gone by mid June. Fairly un-crowded, bc the parking lot is small

Parking is a pain. What is the point of having a beautiful public trail without sufficient parking spaces. It shows the attitudes of homeowners nearby fircing the city to put up "No Parking" signs outside the park for miles, at least 100 no parking signs. These were not there few years ago. If it is Gods country, let God's people enjoy it. If taxpayers pay to maintain the hiking trail, they should have a place to park their cars.

Limited parking is the biggest drawback to this great little park. It is dog friendly and no super steep trails. You can hike over to Ild La Honda road if you are adventurous.

Had a super great hike here! Beautiful, nicely maintained, went on a weekday so there were people but it wasn’t crazy. The trails are marked nicely. I did about a 3.5 mile hike by doing the loop from bear gulch trail to redwood trail to Madrone trail then back onto bear gulch. 10/10 would do again. The first half is quite a bit of incline but the second half is easy peasy and there’s a lovely bench about halfway through the hike to take a break on after all that incline.

Absolutely love Huddart Park! 🌲✨ Super beautiful and very shaded — perfect escape on a hot summer day. The redwoods and tall oaks keep things cool even in the middle of summer. Trails are peaceful and well-maintained, great for a casual walk or a longer hike. Tons of birds here — heard and saw lots of woodpeckers! 🐦 Bring binoculars if you're into birdwatching, it’s a great spot for it. There are also a bunch of picnic and day camping areas scattered throughout the park. Most have tables and grills, and they're nicely spread out so it never feels crowded. $6 entrance fee (cash or card) but totally worth it for how well-kept and relaxing the park is. Will definitely be coming back — it’s a hidden gem just a short drive from the Peninsula.

Huddard park is a gorgeous tru California redwood mini forest. Huge redwood trees line up the trails and make it a paradise for hikers. Crystal springs trail is the longest but you can take detours through Dean trail to hike for roughly about 6 miles. It has lush green trails between the trees, slightly moderate climb for about 2.4 miles from the parking area and then downhill all the way back. You can spot large size banana slugs and hear sounds of chirping birds and squirrels. Plenty of parking available, thought you must bring cash only since there is no credit card machine at the entrance. You may be allowed to park for free if you didn't bring the cash but wouldn't be very nice. Several bathrooms available and are relatively clean facilities. Just walk the trails soak in the beauty and enjoy the views at the top of the mountain. Overall one of the best trail and redwood parks in the Bay area.

Great County Park with lots of trails, beautiful red wood trees and some wildlife. $6 to enter, but free for certain individuals - such as senior citizens. Use cash or check at the entrance, place it into the envelope and display the slip on the dashboard. Clean toilets, camping and picnic areas. Horse friendly. Some trails could be closed during the rainy season.

Cash only-self service $6 parking payment into provided envelope. I visited on a Monday, there were only a few folks for the entire park. Loved it. Lots of shady trails

Such a nice and peaceful place. They have a garden , good wifi and it’s not crowded.

This is a small, clean and friendly library in the SM County Library system. I have found the librarians who work there very helpful. The only thing they don't have is an automated check-in system, so there is no receipt when you return items to the library.

Great for taking your screaming and/or rambunctious hyperactive child for all types of activities, either during the morning, midday, or after school. Note: if you should be so reckless as to ask child to please lower their voice or control the volume on their $900 cell phone, be prepared to be beaten into a coma by their yoga-mom. So if you want a peaceful place to read or study, best to sit next to a sound wall by highway 101. It’ll be quieter.

This library, although too small, is wonderful. The staff is always helpful. Especially Allison--LOVE Allison!However, NOT the place to go if you want a quiet place to work. Lots of noise and activity (but in a good way).

The best library in all of San Mateo County. Very quiet and clean with new updated equipment.
