I try to get out the Valley Forge national Park at least three or 3 or 4 times during the summer, what a beautiful day to walk the trails and see the sites. I love the history behind us. They have a 5 mile loop in an 8 mile loop they also have trails through the woods and also through the field. This is an absolutely beautiful park. I like watching it through the seasons there’s also an excellent visitor centerwith light snacks, artifacts and some souvenirs. They also have bathroom facilities there.

One of the top historic national parks across America. Extremely well laid out and maintained across hundreds of acres of pristine park land. Only about a half hour from Philadelphia downtown and minutes from the King of Prussia mall. Easily accessible from the Pennsylvania Turnpike, 202 and 422 highways. They have a visitors center and offer trolley tours as well. Miles of very well paved walking trails are in place. Catch some of the most beautiful sunsets in the area. Must visit with family and kids

Place is huge. Plenty of places to park around each monument area if you don’t have time to walk everywhere. Woulda took me hours to talk the whole place. Gotta buy a bike or get good at running to get around whole place. Saw a few wedding photographers and groups taking pics. They kept asking us to move so we weren’t in background. But photographers supposed to know photoshop. I guess it’s cheaper to not do, it idk? But got a lot of steps in here. Some of the cabins have historical stuff also. The visitor center was closed cause the government shut down!!! Had to find another place at Wawa to use the bathroom!!!

Other than the government shutdown, (no restrooms) this place was amazing. We learned so much. We were here the first week in November, colors were beautiful. Not too many ppl, the ones we saw and interacted with were kind and engaging. The park ranger we talked to was kind and very helpful. We did the auto tour and it was exceptional.

I had no idea how large this park is! My family was here on a blustery fall Sunday and the main trail was very busy at 9 am. We did the driving tour because of our young kids and the weather. Having the NPS app was very helpful. The government was shut down on our visit so I can't speak to the visitor's center but would love to come back and see it and chat with park rangers and volunteers. The park itself is beautiful, especially in the fall. It is a lovely place to take pictures and spend a nice day outside.

We visited on a late Sunday morning in late June 2025. There were plenty of parking spots in the visitor center parking lot. There were a few spots that were shaded under trees. There is also a restroom facility here with water fountain and a Bike Rental shed. It was kind of a hike from the parking lot up to the visitor center. We got our NPS passport cancellation stamps first when we walked in. Then we were told the park film was about to start in the adjacent building so we ran up the stairs and outside to the next building. There were a bunch of signs to point you in the right direction but it was not intuitive. The park film is 19-mins long and plays on the hour and half-hour from 9:30AM to 4:30PM. It's a fairly large theater it plays in. We also grabbed our Junior Ranger books for the kids from the info desk so they were working on it during the film. After the film was over we walked back over to the visitor center and back down the stairs. There were some exhibits at the top of the top of the stairs as well but not many. Then explored the gift shop which was quite large and to the left when you walk into the visitor center. They had a lot of merch specific for Valley Forge National Historical Park which was great. We grabbed some pins and a rubber duck. If you walk to the right when you enter the visitor center there is a large exhibit area. It's pretty huge. One of the largest indoor ones I've seen. There are a number of interactive exhibits to keep the kids entertained as well. We walked around and explored and took pictures in here while kids finished junior ranger and played. We turned junior ranger books in and got the badges before we headed out to see some of the sites. We first stopped at the winter encampment which had a number of log huts each with exhibits inside. There was also a reenactor/interpreter in one of them. Good for a 10 min stop. Then we stopped at the National Memorial Arch. We where hear close to noon and it was hard to get a nice photo. The best place was actually form underneath in it's shadow. Sadly there were a number of people here and hard to get a photo with no one else in it. You park at the bottom of the hill and have to walk up to the arch. It is a caved walkway. We stopped next at Washington's Headquarters. There was restrooms here next to parking lot. You walk down the winding path to the Valley Forge Train Station which had a number of exhibits inside. You continue down the path to Washington's Headquarters. There are multiple rooms here to explore and up stairs. The trail is a loop so you goa round and make your way back to the top. The last stop we made was at Washington Memorial Chapel. It just looked so cool on the outside. You are able to walk into the bottom of the tower and look around. There are some signs. There is also a store and cafe in the back of the church but this is an actual church and has services and we were there on a Sunday. Overall this place was huge and we skipped so many things but we were on a tight itinerary and we need to head out. We spent over 2 hrs exploring Valley Forge National Historical Park and I feel we barely scratched the surface.

Washington Memorial Chapel is a must-see gem in Valley Forge! The moment I arrived, I was struck by its stunning Gothic Revival architecture and peaceful surroundings. Inside, the craftsmanship is exquisite—gorgeous stained glass windows and intricate woodwork set a reverent atmosphere. The Bell Tower and Justice Bell are impressive, and volunteers are always friendly and happy to answer questions. There's plenty to discover here, from a charming gift shop and used bookstore to tranquil garden paths and seating areas for reflection. I especially enjoyed attending a tour and hearing about the heritage of the Chapel and its role in the community. Whether stopping in for a quiet moment, attending a service, or exploring the park, it's easy to spend an hour or two savoring all this site offers. Please note—check ahead for events, as weddings or special services may limit access at times. For anyone interested in American history, architecture, or simply seeking a moment of peace, I highly recommend visiting Washington Memorial Chapel. It’s truly a special place.

This was absolutely stunning and not expected. This is definitely a must see the memorial was absolutely beautiful and the architecture was beyond. Unbelievable here there is a lot of great historical information. Just be sure to read everything while you’re there.

We visited on a early Sunday afternoon in late June 2025. The last stop we made at Valley Forge National Historical Park was at Washington Memorial Chapel. It just looked so cool on the outside we decided to pull over and stop. The main parking lot was full but there is an additional parking lot on the side. You are able to walk into the bottom of the tower and look around. There are some info kiosks/signs. It's just beautiful in here. There was no one else in the tower when we visited. This is an actual church and has services and we were there on a Sunday. There is also a gift shop and cafe in the back of the church in a separate building.

With stunning Gothic architecture, the Washington Memorial Chapel is a gem Valley Forge! We just don’t build things like this anymore. You simply must go visit and see it inside and out.

An absolutely lovely church. While I do not live in the area, I frequently spend short weeks nearby on family business, and I'm so grateful to have discovered this chapel. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the building itself shows a love and craft, and a devotion to the God (and His providence through our history) for whom it was erected. Some churches sacrifice the orthodoxy of their doctrine/liturgy for the sake of welcomeness, but I did not find that here. As a denominational outsider, even then I've found it to be a wholesomely welcoming space, but doctrinally and liturgically sound as well, to the tradition it espouses. Additionally, because of its location, it has some interesting features in the coffee/giftshoppe, and a used bookstore. Both are clean and well managed. Sometimes I find that church coffeeshoppes can come off as tacky or wrongly commercial, but this one did not. If one is non-religious but interested in the history, or the area I would still recommend a stop here. They also are host to a lovely commemorative bell with lovely patriotic artwork. And again, one might find that alone to be worth a stop, (but why not stay for a mass?) I'm truly happy to have found The Washington Memorial Chapel and happy to attend whenever I find myself in the area. A beautiful place raised in, and for, the worship of a beautiful God.

The old church is beautiful. Also on the property, there is a cabin with souvenirs and food, a small used bookstore, and a cemetery.

You park at the bottom of the hill and have to walk up to the arch. It is a paved walkway. There were a few cars in the parking lot when we arrived. Many other seem to get here by bike or hiking. The arch was much larger than we thought it was going to be and it was very ornate with a lot of features on it.

Visited the National Memorial Arch at Valley Forge recently, and I have to say it’s one of those spots that feels both peaceful and inspiring at the same time. The arch itself is huge and really impressive up close. It’s right in the middle of the park, so you kind of stumble upon it as you’re driving or walking through, and then it just grabs your attention. The setting is beautiful too. If you come around sunset, the light hits just right for some amazing pictures. Parking is nearby, and it’s an easy stop if you’re exploring the rest of Valley Forge National Historical Park. I’d recommend it as a must-see on your visit here. You don’t need a ton of time, but it’s absolutely worth stopping, reading the inscriptions, and just taking a moment to reflect. Overall, the National Memorial Arch is a memorable and meaningful highlight of Valley Forge.

Great historical park. The National memorial arch is a great spot for photos. The whole park is extremely interesting from the various encampment buildings give you an idea how hard life was during the winter of 1777-78. Washington headquarters, various monuments and statues,the Washington memorial Chapel, visitor center, Knox covered bridge, are all worth visiting. We love Boyd, but this facility could be much better. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 4:45, then we had the hardest time getting a waitress to come around and give us a drink. We eventually sat at the bar and those guys were amazing.

Just got back from a weekend here. The staff was very helpful,the king room was good size,clean and quiet. The rooms are a little old but definaately didnt effect the overall experience. Casino was lively on saturday night-dj,dancing and very friendly dealers

My absolute go to Casino. It's just right size and the atmosphere is safe and clean. I can even play and cash in my lottery winnings when I go there. The servers come around consistently and Valley Forge gives out good incentives.

I was expecting a Boyd property like their Vegas properties. The size of the casino was so small, it was laughable. Hardly any video keno, very little video poker and no bubble craps. A lot of the same machines, not a good mix. Staff acted like you were bothering them if you asked questions. As for the room it wasn't bad. I was glad we were able to use our comps so it was free. I wouldn't have paid for a room there. It was far from the casino and again staff had very little personality and not very inviting. No actual gift shop just a weird vending machine. Not a very good restaurant selection either.

We heard this was a great place to Boondock so we pulled in one night! Now we’re gamblers so the first thing we did was go inside! After playing for hours we had pretty much Brookhaven so we were happy with that. I think the downside was actually the food. The display marquee has what looks like a great Mexican restaurant and a great Asian restaurant but it turns out they’re both in the food court. Not really what we were expecting, but it did satisfy our appetites. The Center bar was our favorite place.!

We were only in the casino. Parking was easy and the casino was large enough. We played slots and enjoyed it. The only complaint is the room was filled with smoke and no clear way to dissipate it so we found ourselves chocking on smoke and moving to different slots while the chain smokers puffed one after another near us.

It was a decent hotel/casino. Few issues that will probably keep me from coming back...1) there are no snacks anywhere in the stardust tower. Like...drink vending on every floor but a 10 minute walk if you need a lil snack. Not a huge deal, but not convenient at all. 2) 8am on a Saturday is a pretty dumb time to do loud construction...couldn't sleep in after spending a late night in the casino. Pretty crappy. 3) an hour an a half before checkout, housekeeping just walked into our room. Used their key without knocking and just came right in. Not great. Wasn't the worst, but won't be back.
