Great medium town museum! Lots of interesting exhibits. There's a bench in front of the tepee exhibit where I used to sit and write poetry.

My daughter's loved going to the museum's. And will be going back

Definitely worth a visit. Learn about the man behind the music, tv and a sausage empire. The exhibits are great. I learned quite a bit about JD and his long lasting influence on music. Friendly staff. The only negative is the current lack of a gift shop. I was told they were working to remedy that so that’s a plus. Enjoyed it.

I believe it's one of plainview's interesting places to visit.

We took our 3 and 4 year old grandkids. They loved the scavenger hunt. The volunteers were very helpful. You can get the scavenger hunt from the website or they had printed copies at the front desk. We just had the kids check them off as we saw them. I played the song Big Bad John for them before we went. They called Jimmy Dean “Big Bad John”. The oldest asked, “Big Bad John is good, right?” We got a kick out of that.

Really enjoyed looking at the exhibits. It was nicely put together and learned a lot more about Jimmy Dean. The Ruth's Store was nice. It has a theater that talks about Jimmy Dean, too. The visit was pleasant and the staff made it enjoyable.

Staff is knowledgeable and constantly has displays well organized, information factual for each display of history, time period of display, who provided the items for display. Museum director is well informed and maintains display in a very professional setting. Great place for field trips for all levels of students, individual groups or civic groups. A great asset for the community and Wayland.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The Jimmy Dean part was very interesting. He had a eventful life. The Llano Estacado section was very informative. The teepee was really unique to see. If you get a chance to go, definitely do it! Stop by the gift shop also!!

The owners have done a good job keeping this place up to date. Food is surprisingly good. Music is very outdated though.

Clean, family oriented, the workers love seeing kids there having fun. Great family time.

We had a Great time. It was a Family Reunion. Everyone in the bowling alley was nice and courteous. We will go back. And thank you very much for your clean and friendly staff.

Terrible service we stood at the counter for over 20 min no one ever helped us. We tried to be understanding that it was busy but got annoying having multiple people come to the counter for something or another then leave without seeing if we needed help.

The atmosphere is always fun and welcoming, the staff is very friendly and help full. We can always count on the facility to clean, food is great. Our children always have have fun and look forward to bowling!❤

Too small for town like Plainview. There were 3 birthday parties at the same time and the owners had to turn other people away. Also, the kitchen staff was overrun because of the parties. It took half an hour to get sodas for our group and they burnt the pizza because there were only 2 people in the kitchen. Needs lots of improvement!
