A beautiful waterfall situated right at the centre of the city. There is a trail with multiple view points. The view points along the trail did have views obstructed by trees. One could get a closer view of the falls from the park that is on the lower ground. This park is a great spot to spend some time in nature and tranquility.
I first had the pleasure of visiting this location in April of 2016. It was an awe-inspiring and majestic sight. I returned on the 25th of July and have attached some photographs from both visits for your comparison. While I thoroughly enjoyed both experiences, I must admit that my initial visit eight years ago holds a special place in my heart.
Only got to stop quick to stretch our legs on our drive home to NB from ONT but would definitely do the drive to return here to explore the whole park. Oh and the rope course, is thst supposed to be for the kids or? Not sure who had more fun on that lol. Amazing place !
This was a nice stop to look at some falls that crash down very close to you. Slightly smaller than Grand Falls, NB and Chutes Montmorency but definitely nice for pictures. This was a path through and glad I did. Kids and family were available for lots of pictures on a sunny day.
Over ten kilometres of woodland trails along the river and through a heritage orchard, all just steps from downtown. There's a 33-metre waterfall and old power generating station, still in operation, a visit is definitely a must. There's a parking lot close by, and you can get across the river using a bridge.
Great place for hiking, a few routes to choose from. I tried green route this time due to limited time, about 50 minutes. The sign says red route is 95 minutes. Next time I would love to try it and see what other sceneries it brings.
Absolutely breathtaking hike. It’s not very big. We hiked for like 4-5 kms but they have great things on the way like apple trees, free bars for exercise and more. The falls itself are heavenly. Must visit this hidden gem 🥰
It's a beautiful park with lots of great water views. I love that it's small enough for a casual stroll around, and there are enough views and art instalments to keep everything interesting. We went after a rain, so everything had a misty fairytale feel to it. Plus there wasn't the usual huge crowd.

Good ferry service. The que area is a little cramped but everybody seems to get on board.
Over all first ferry was a good experience The kids loved it and we were able to grab a drink on the boat. I do understand it's all I'm french but wished someone explained to us better about how to pay for the ferry.
Good ferry service, many near attractions, if possible reach at least 2 hours before the given time, to check places, and to click pictures, otherwise half hour before is fine. Take your snack with you from your vehicle(good to bring your own munchkins) as once leave, you're not allowed to go into your vehicle. They also take care of your pets, if you have any. It'll take near about 70 minutes to reach Saint Siméon. Lost one star as you're bounded in deck and can't take pictures of outside.
We took the 7:45am ferry with our car and arrived at the recommended 90min advance to get in queue. Departed on time. Learn from our mistake: the line up of people are not getting coffee- they are paying their fares! Take your ticket with you, the cashier is on the 2nd floor, pay during your ride, before getting back into your car.
There was sufficient parking for those wanting to leave their vehicles behind. As well as two places where you could purchase food while waiting for the ferry. Nice views of St. Lawrence too.
We arrived to the Ferry lanes 90 minutes exactly before the Ferry was scheduled to arrive. We barely made it on the Ferry. We were one of the last 4 vehicles to board the boat. If you can get there earlier than 90 minutes do it! You park your vehicle in a lane and can wonder around the area. There is a restaurant, ice cream shops, and a beach to keep busy while waiting. The view is wonderful as well! The Ferry staff were so efficient in boarding everyone- it was a tight squeeze! The on-boat staff were great as well! We didnt know right away, but you have to pay your fee on the boat. Luckily we walked around and then saw people doing this so we caught on. When you leave off the boat, the staff collect your receipts. FYI as we didn't know! :) The ride was wonderful, such a great view!
“I’m on a BOAT!” -The Lonely Island Love taking the ferry across le fleuve Saint-Laurent. Service is timely, with only a few minutes delay, if anything at all. Boat is spacious and relatively clean, all things considered. An hour and a half is more than enough time to get a spot in line, an hour is more realistic. Anything less than 30 mins you risk having to wait for the next ferry.
On their website, it says to arrive 1h30 before departures. We were running little late so came 30min before departure. We were still able to take the one that we wanted to. Service is very friendly, washroom is somewhat clean. Everyone seems to be wearing masks (Covid) but one lady wasn’t!! Maybe an attendant should be moving around to check if every passengers are following the rules!

An amazing little park with great places to walk, ride or drive. Play place for the kids and when the tide is low it's awesome to walk on the rocks & such. The views are amazing!
Beautiful place with amazing views of St. Lawrence River , benches and playground. There is a problem with restrooms, which are NOT accessible for those who use wheelchairs or mobility scooters. There is a 4-5 inches curb in front of restrooms' entrances!
Lovely shoreline where you can enjoy a stroll on the paved walkway with benches and picnic tables or enjoy the sand and water. You can see little critters (krill etc) and small birds. I also heard you can sometimes see sting rays and even whales in the water! I suggest walking along the sand to admire the beautiful tectonic plate formations coming out of the ground! There were lots of people relaxing on the benches, some playing some relaxing instruments. There’s a bike path along with the walking trails and some swing benches as well. I also saw a house that looked like it is a restaurant or cafe. There’s good parking area across and more further down on the side of the road.
Wonderful Piece Of Gem Along The St. Lawrence This is a belated review but here it goes. Came with my family twice from Ottawa (once during a bus tour in 2017 and again during our Gaspe-Maritimes road trip in Aug 2019). The latter we wanted to spend more time at the park. Tourist Info Centre was great, served in English actually. The picnic tables were actually quite clean which had an awesome view of the St. Lawrence. The sidewalk, garden, and overall ambience was pleasant with ample parking. I really had fond memories. On our 1st time while some members of the tour decided to join the whale-watching, rest of us came all the way here by foot. Nice houses along La Pointe. I'll consider coming back for a visit maybe in 2022 or 2023. Merci.
Beautiful view!! Lots of picnic tables and the washrooms were clean.
Very nice park, a must see when the tide is high or low. We walked the beached looking for rocks and interesting items left behind by the tides. We found a stingray (or a skate maybe?) in a tide pool during. None of my family who are locals knew that they had stingrays. Who knew!
Beautiful park, surrounded by water. Nice bike path and breath taking view of sunset from tip.
Simply gorgeous. Lots of flowers and plants in the summer. Good amount of parking.

Great opportunity to experience life of a Lighthouse keeper. We stayed over night, could walk on the island en had a fantastic dinner. Amazing to do and also lovely people sharing the history of this little Island.
What an overnight stay in this cosy lighthouse. Food was great, host lovely. And the experiences with the birds and the island. Great

Meet people from all over the world. Exchange. Be welcomed with kindness by our hosts Sylvain and Sabine, two people passionate about life and people. Taste Sabine's extraordinary cuisine (a king's dinner and brunch the next day, more than delicious).
(Translated by Google) Great! Beautiful location and very friendly welcome by the hostess and host. They run this authentic lodging with only 3 rooms with great enthusiasm. With limited resources, they also know how to spoil their guests with culinary delights. Due to the strong wind and strong current, the boat trip there and back was an adventure in itself. (Original) Geweldig!
(Translated by Google) A true marvel. It's the rare pearl of the St. Lawrence! The lighthouse is magnificent, the team is friendly, and the sunset is sublime. A dream come true! Bravo to all! Continue to preserve this precious place! (Original) Une véritable merveille. C'est la perle rare du St Laurent ! Le phare est magnifique, l'équipe est souriante et le coucher de soleil est sublime.
