An isolated island, aka Cano Island. This is a must if you visit Costa Rica. The boat ride to the Island was great! Booked through Uvita Info. The island is truly mystical. Great for snorkeling too! Too bad I can't upload videos here! Enjoy the pics! YOU MUST VISIT THIS ISLAND! Well worth it!
Amazing place to be. Me and my family went there for a weekend and got to see the dinosaurs. Their Raptor paddock was torn up in one place and a few of the "supposed 36" according to the tour guide, weren't in there. While exploring, I spotted a Raptor near the sign for the enclosure, according to the same tour guide, they're fierce and should be kept far from guests, so it's probably not the best idea to have the fence destroyed in one area or another. The brachiosaurus were nice and we saw the Dilophosaurus spitting venom to blind a goat that the feeders put in for them to eat. Heard this place got shut down on Isla Nublar in 1993, great to hear that it's back up and running and to experience Jurassic Park for ourselves! Definitely go here if you'd like to see some amazing dinosaurs.
One of the best places to dive in CR and also one of the most beautiful. We saw spotted dolphins on our way to the island. We were able to go the beach and walk to the lookout, the water was super clear.
We went to Caño Island for a couple of dives. The visibility wasn’t great—about 10 meters at best. There was a fun current, more of a back-and-forth motion than a single direction. The two dive sites we visited (El Ancla and Bajo del Diablo) were full of marine life: white-tip sharks, turtles, schools of fish… Between dives, we stopped on the island to rest. There’s a park station there that monitors access. That said, the island is over an hour’s boat ride from Las Agujitas. We had bad weather, with constant rain and significant waves. However, we were lucky enough to encounter whales along the way! :)
Cano Island (Isla del Cano in Spanish) is an amazing place ; this is paradise: a wonderful beach with an awesome jungles. Moreover, this is an amazing place to dive and there are many species to see (turtles, sharks, mantas, etc.). I loved this destination!
Excellent diving. White tip sharks, octopuses, turtles, and colorful fish. Very good for snorkeling too, my wife snorkeled and saw white tip and a turtle. On the way back saw hump back whales and dolphins. So not necessary to pay for a special humpback whale tour if you will dive.
The island is incredibly beautiful with spectacular spots for snorkelling and scuba diving.
White sand and turquoise water. Great place to relax

Our family had a wonderful overnight tour with our guide Freiman. He took every minute to show my husband, our two children and myself around Corcovado. We saw so many animals, loved hiking up the beach, taking so many photos and exploring this beautiful part of the world with such a nice and knowledgeable guide. Thank you for helping us have an experience of a lifetime.
We are just back from overnight stay and Frieman was our amazing guide. We used every minute of our trip to find and see as many animals as possible. Frieman worked tirelessly to find us the best spots, the best angles and all of the amazing creatures and plants Corcovado has to offer. We couldn’t be happier with our trip. Thank you to Frieman 🙏 and the Info Centre for giving a brilliant tour, we saw more than we ever thought: sloth, tapir, monkeys, snakes (boa constricta and salmon bellied razor snake) , anteaters, caiman, crocodiles, collard peccary, Agoutis, coati, humpback whales, many many birds !
Took a morning Sirena tour from 6am to 2pm. Starting off with an hour boat ride to the Sirena Ranger station in the national park: we saw two whales, insanely lucky! Tour itself was amazing! Adrián, our guide, a very enthousiastic man with great eyesight. We saw monkeys, many birds, anteaters and a tapir! Around 12pm lunch at the ranger station which was quite nice and after heading back home to Drake Bay. Great tour and amazing experience!
One of the most incredible experience and certainly the best during my 3 weeks trip in Costa Rica. Sheila was our guide for 2 days and she was fantastic. We were a group of 4, walking in this amazing park during the day and early morning . The night at Sirena was also a nice experience with great food and overall very well organized . I highly recommend spending the night there , as well as choosing Corcovado Info center to book your tour, their staff is kind and very helpful.
We did a 2 days - 1 night trip to Corcovado National Park Siren Station with Corcovado Info Center and our amazing guide Sheila and it was the best decision! The company is extremely professional, they provided us with all the necessarily information before the trip so that we could prepare well. The trip started with a morning boat ride to Sirena station that was an adventure for itself 😃 our guide Sheila was taking care of us during the whole stay and she showed great knowledge of the National park and the small and big creatures living there. Our group was small so we really get to spend time watching the animals and getting to know everything about Corcovado from the guide and Sheila was excellent at spotting the birds, mammals, insects and has also a big knowledge about the local plants. She’s also an extremely approachable and friendly person so it was pleasure to do this trip with her. In Corcovado we got see spider monkeys, howler monkeys, titi monkeys, caymans, snakes, anteater, sloth, porcupine, coatis, aguitis, tapirs, toucans and tons of other birds and plants. It was really amazing adventure. Sirena station is also very well organised, the food is excellent and caters also for vegetarians so it was once in a lifetime experience. We would definitely do it again!!! Thanks to Sheila for being our amazing guide 😀
We went to Corcovado from November 01st, 2023 to November 02nd. I was in contact with Corcovado info center from France since approx 2 months and hesitating a lot because of the rain season. Info center team was very supportive and helpful, constantly providing explanation and proposing solutions in order to accommodate our trip. The tour itself was really fantastic. Definitely one of the best souvenirs from Costa Rica together with Tortuguero. The guide who accompanied us during that excursion was very very knowledgeable, friendly, funny and constantly focused on safety. Same for the boat captain for the trip to Sirena station: very professional and focused on safety as well. It is a no brainer, go with Corcovado Info Center!!! At last, I definitively recommend to do the overnight tour at Sirena. It worth it as there are so many things to see and learn about wildlife in this amazing tropical forest! THANKS AGAIN TO THE ENTIRE CORCOVADO INFO CENTER TEAM FOR THIS AMZING AND UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE!!!!
Excellent experience in Corcovado National Park with overnight stay in Sirena Station. Our amazing guide Freiman has really impressive knowledge about EVERYTHING in this place. We saw unique animals and beautiful flora at the park. Thank you so much!
I just finished the two-day overnight tour at Sirena Station with Freiman as my guide. What an incredible experience! The national park is full of a stunning biodiversity and Freiman is the man to show you all the animals as well as flora. He's very, very knowledgeable about anything related to Corcovado and its inhabitants, and managed to show the group and me so many beautiful sights in a fun and educational way.
