Highly recommended for next visit. Accessible from public transport (including bus, heavy rail, light rail or ferry). Also possible to walk through from adjoining parkland in Westmead 🌲

Parramatta Park is such a beautiful escape right in the middle of the city. It’s my go-to spot whenever I want to enjoy nature, either cycling or jogging without having to travel far. The park has this peaceful vibe with plenty of open green spaces, making it perfect for so many activities. It’s a fantastic spot for birthday parties and family gatherings. There’s just something about celebrating surrounded by nature. It feels relaxed and fun at the same time. There are picnic tables and lots of shaded areas, and the scenery makes for some great photos too! For the active crowd, this park is awesome. You can play almost any sport here. Soccer, cricket or even just throwing a frisbee around. If you’re into cycling, the paths are amazing and take you through some really scenic routes. Honestly, it’s just a lovely place to unwind, whether you’re walking under the trees, cycling, or simply sitting back and taking in the fresh air. I love that you can feel so close to nature while still being right in the heart of the city. It’s a space that’s good for the soul.

Parramatta Park is such a great spot for a family outing. We had a BBQ, played games, and enjoyed the beautiful weather – it was such a fun day for everyone. The park is spacious, clean, and has plenty of areas to relax or be active. We loved it so much that we’ve decided to make this a monthly tradition. Perfect place for gatherings and outdoor fun!

Parramatta Park’s a top spot for everyone—perfect for a chilled day out with family and friends. Plenty of space for the kids to run around and play, and loads of comfy places to sit and soak up the sunshine. There’s a toilet right near the café inside the park which is super handy. You’ll spot ducks by the water and colourful birds flitting about—adds a lovely touch to the whole vibe.

Was an enjoyable walk around the historic buildings and along the river with HK guests. Never done it before. There was a Bat Colony. Did get time to try the cafe and go into the historic house. Parking was an issue. Only Two hr limited Mon/Friday

I volunteered over 20 years ago and helped plant 100 trees to implement Parramatta Councils plan rebuild and preserve the Park decades ago has definitely paid off!!

A nice green space next to the Paramatta CBD. Good for picnics, walks or just taking some time out in your day. There's MISC. restaurant in the centre with some public toilets, a bat colony next to the river, public BBQs and picnic benches interspersed around the park. A cafe, toilets and playground are near the Paramatta side main entry, playgrounds and cricket greens on the Westmead side entry, and Wisteria gardens adjoining the park with an annual flower show. Dogs are welcome and there's lots of parking, just be mindful of the gates closing time, pickup after your pet and respect parking allowances as park rangers patrol regularly.

Been coming here ever since I was a teenager, and I never get tired of the bush track, nor the gorgeous scenic view. Nothing can replace the beauty of this lake. The cafe is at a lovely spot too. As a side note, it would be pretty cool if they made nightwalks a thing by placing light bulbs around the lake. It would look out of this world if they did that.

Such a beautiful spot. The bush track is also a beautiful walk around the lake. Took me about 1.5 hours to complete the full trail. Would recommend to everyone and also a great location to bring your dogs or have a picnic

Been here before and hired a pedal boat for an hour. Good experience. Went again yesterday (cycled there) and enjoyed my morning coffee. A quiet and unrelated gem of Western Sydney. Good areas to have a picnic. There is a walking trail with plenty of signage. There's even a bike trail as well. From what I observed, a popular place to kayak in the morning too. There is a cafe on site as well.

It is an amazing sanctuary among the busy suburbs of north parramatta. A great spot to bring friends and family of all ages for lots of different activities such as swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, bushwalking, picnicking, fishing and boating. Facilities at the lake include a public toilet/ change room, BBQs Picnic tables, roped off swimming areas, boats for hire, a cafe, lifeguards, bush-walks, a free carpark, play equipment, a wheelchair swing just to name a few things. The atmosphere is great and everyone can find something they enjoy here. There is no shortage of wildlife such as goannas, bush turkey, water dragons and lots of fish. The place can get a bit crowded on public holidays or sunny days and it can be a bit hard to find parking but that comes with any place that is similar. Overall, this is a place that will be on my list for a day out no matter my age or location and is a spot you must visit. I’m sure you will not be disappointed by the experiences available here.

Drove from home only took about 45 minutes. Easy to find and hard to believe that it's so close to Parramatta. Although the constant, background sound of traffic is a reminder. Beautiful and serene. Plenty of people enjoying the space even on a week day. Good clean toilets. Lots of local information about the flora that the local First Nations, Burramattagal people used for medicines, food and weaving, etc. Lots of areas to just sit and think. Some areas to picnic as well as a cafe nearby. Dogs are allowed on a leash. Come and enjoy.

Very nice window into the history of Parramattas colonial past. The house has been well preserved and the surrounding courtyards and gardens are really nice. The whole location within Parramatta Park is really great. However, the entrance fee at $15 and $12 (for kids) is a bit steep for what it is.

Well worth a visit to one of the significant landmarks in the birthplace of our nation. Recommend the guided tour as you will learn so much more.

Visited earlier this month and really enjoyed the experience. The house is beautifully preserved and offers a fascinating glimpse into early colonial life in Australia. The guided tour was informative our guide was very passionate and knew a lot about the history of the governors who lived there.

First time here, solo traveller. I was here to watch a University Graduation ceremony. Heaps of free parking. Aesthetically beautiful venue outside (as was expected), and the inside venue was open and functional. The inside Cafe and outside bar was reasonably priced. Staff were so friendly serving us. I'd love to be here for a race event as the track was viaually spectacular to see.

Came here for the Hot Rod & Custom Auto Expo - what a day! It actually went for two days, and you might need that to see everything in detail! I've been to Rosehill Gardens for a few functions and events now; I find it well-organised and well-catered every time and the grounds are so well maintained🙂

Beautiful venue for Home Entertainment EXPO 2025 brought by HN, DM and JM.

The venue is well-maintained, with clean facilities, a good variety of food and drink options, and a lively but relaxed atmosphere. The grandstand offered great views of the track, and there was plenty of space to move around without feeling overcrowded.

Very, very difficult to get to by public transport. Thence an incredibly long walk over rough surfaces to arrive at the venue. Limited facilities in lifts etc for disabled persons.

We attended the camping, caravan and 4X4 event and we had a pleasurable day. Staff were welcoming and ingratiating with directions/maps and knowledgeable with all the services available on the day. The only frustrating part of this day, is when we attempted to enter the Rosehill Gardens racecourse,the traffic lights🚦were inoperative and caused havoc for all the attendees and this was frustrating as we all had to travel to further 20minutes around the block and held up in traffic again just to get in, the car park was inadequate of spaces. There were multitudinous of Camper-vans, diverse accessories for 4x4, trailers and camping 🏕 items for sale. Found numerous shops with affordable prices for camping equipments and the food was reasonable.

Westfield Parramatta is one of the best shopping centres in Sydney,huge, modern, and packed with everything you could need in one place. The layout is easy to navigate, and the mix of stores is excellent, from high-end fashion to everyday essentials. The dining options are great too,there’s a wide variety of cafés, restaurants, and food court choices, whether you’re after a quick bite or a nice sit-down meal. The cinema is clean and comfortable, and the entertainment area makes it a great spot for families or weekend hangouts. Parking is usually easy to find, and public transport access couldn’t be better with Parramatta Station right next door. The centre also feels safe and well-maintained, with friendly staff and good crowd management even during busy periods. Overall: Westfield Parramatta is a top-tier shopping destination , vibrant, convenient, and always evolving. Highly recommended for a full day of shopping, dining, or just relaxing. 🛍️

Never ending escalator problem which is so inconvenient to go to the other end just to go up in 1 level. This particular escator as per photos below Woolworths has been like this for the last 3 months. I hope they will finally fix this.

My daughter enjoyed her bracelet making activity, face painting and free frozen watch! it was a bit of wait queuing but its a nice activity for kids and at least they are free of charge so you cant really complain 😍

I recently enjoyed a delightful tea-based drink at a cozy Australian restaurant, and it was a true treat. The aroma was calming, with a perfect blend of freshness and gentle sweetness. Served at the ideal temperature, it paired wonderfully with the warm, friendly atmosphere of the place.

Westfield Parramatta is a great shopping centre! The 3-hour free parking makes visiting so easy. There are plenty of amazing clothing brands and a huge variety of stores to choose from. Always a good experience whenever I visit.

We walked all the way to the old visitor information on the other side of the river and then couldn't find the new one when we were right outside it as there was no signage. Even inside the building there was no visible information desk. Once there, the staff were helpful but there were very few resources and no visitor information displays.

This is moving soon, but a good place to see an exhibition of artifacts found during the installation of the light rail.

Lots of leaflets for surrounding tourist spots and beyond. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Guided tours available for free or small fee.
