Horseguard's Avenue & Whitehall is where they filmed a scene in the Deathly Hallows Pt. 1 when the trio is sneaking into the Ministry of Magic.

This intersection is another location for the Ministry of Magic entrance in Deathly Hallows Pt. 1, but also for the visitor's entrance filmed in the Order of the Phoenix.

A MUST-SEE if you are going to the UK! Whether or not you like Harry Potter, seeing the original sets, props, and learning about the making of the movies is an incredible experience. They also feature special exhibits at different times of the year.

Visit 9 Heathgate in the Hampstead Garden suburb to see Hermione's house, filmed in the beginning of Deathly Hallows Pt. 1. You can also see the church that she is walking towards in the sequence!

Christ Church is the hallmark for many of the scenes in the first two movies - check out the Bodley Tower Staircase, the room at the top is also inspiration for the Hogwarts dining hall! The cloisters are just outside and can be seen in a few scenes in the Sorcerer's Stone.

Head over to the Bodleian Library to check out the Divinity School, which is the filming site for both the infirmary in the Sorcerer's Stone and the dance class in Goblet of Fire. Above it is Duke Humphrey's Library, where most of the library scenes in the Harry Potter movies were filmed. You do need to book a tour to see it, and photography is discouraged in Duke Humphrey's Library.

The New College Cloisters, as well as the courtyard and iconic tree, are featured in the Goblet of Fire.

A stunning cathedral with beautiful architecture tucked away in Gloucester. Many of the scenes from the Chamber of Secrets and the Half-Blood Prince were filmed here, and it is definitely worth the trip to see this beautiful landmark.

Freshwater West in Pembroke is the filming site of Bill & Fleur's Cottage in the Deathly Hallows parts 1 & 2. The real-life beach features a tribute to Dobby's grave from the film, with people placing rocks honoring him at the location.

This is where the grave that inspired Tom Riddle's character is located. It is also eerie because his grave is known as the one "where grass does not grow."

This is a private education institution, so you cannot enter the grounds, but from outside the gates, you can see students going between their classes, clad in uniforms. The school is said to be a point of inspiration for Hogwarts, as the students are also placed into houses.

Potterrow Port is said to be a potential source of inspiration for the Potter name, as Rowling wrote many of the books in Edinburgh.

This beautiful and colorful street is another source of inspiration for Diagon Alley.

This Harry Potter store is on Victoria Street, and they have so many different unique items and decorations.

Outside the chambers in the courtyard is a cement tile featuring J.K. Rowling's hands and signature.

This infamous hotel is where Rowling finished writing The Deathly Hallows. They have a room specifically designated as such.

Located on the outskirts of Edinburgh, Dean Village is quaint and peaceful, and bears a strong resemblance to Godric's Hollow.

This castle is the filming location for much of Hogwarts in the first and second movies, including the Quidditch lesson between Harry and Oliver Wood.

Another filming location for much of the first two movies, as well as the iconic hallway that Snape walks through with his billowing cloak. There is a free shuttle from the train station to the cathedral.

The filming location for Hogsmeade Station, where the Hogwarts Express stops when it gets to Hogwarts. You can go on the bridge over the railway, which is seen in many of the wide shots of students arriving/leaving Hogwarts.

This is the filming location for a campsite in the Deathly Hallows Pt. 1, and features beautiful cliffside views. It is classified as a hike, so it is more of an activity than just a filming location.

Located next to the Tower of London, this park-style area features beautiful stone archways and walkthroughs. While not an actual filming scene from the movies, it does look like a place that would be seen in the Harry Potter films.

The winding spiral staircases of St. Paul's are featured in various HP movies. This is another location that I would classify as an activity.

The infamous bridge that is broken at the beginning of the Half-Blood Prince.

Another iconic stop for Harry Potter fans. The station also has a Platform 9 3/4 shop with merchandise, and you can take your photo at the platform.

St Pancras and King's Cross are right next to each other. The outside of St Pancras with the beautiful clock can be seen in the Chamber of Secrets, when Harry and Ron fly away in the Ford Anglia.

The film location for Number 12, Grimmauld Place, also known as Sirius Black's house and the headquarters for the Order of the Phoenix.

A beautiful shop showcasing some of the original props and designs from the prop designers for the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts movies. There is a gallery in the basement featuring beautiful artwork.
