Barbados lives in my blood and memory. I Spent almost every summer on the island growing up. Each visit, a homecoming to turquoise seas, salt-kissed air, and laughter that lingers like music. The island breathes beauty, history, and soul.
General tips
Definitely swim with the turtles, ride jet skis (If you book with Carlos mention my name you might get a discount 🤝
Go to Oisten's fish market on a Friday for live music, food stands, and great vibes
Catch a sunset! I've been blessed to travel a lot of different places in this world and the sunset here are top 3 easily
If you stay on the west side of the island getting around can be tricky if you don't have a car. I'd recommend downloading the Pickup app (Bajan uber)
If you're having dinner off resort make sure to make a reservation. Usually you can call same day and just let them know a time but I've been turned away from some not so packed places just because I didnt make a resy.
