Went to eat at La Burgesia (overrated and expensive, could’ve skipped but the truffle mac and cheese was good) and walked around. SO SMALL not much to do but uber was cheap so it was fine :)

literally the best sauces for the empanadas (5$ a piece is kinda expensive but worth it) and the BESTTTTT pina colada i think we went back here at least 2 more times. right on condado and so worth the stop

stopped by after hours (apparently be careful for pick pocketers) but very important to note it is pretty dangerous to swim here

try the lavender mule :)) very crowded with american tourists however we did visit during spring break accidentally. can grab drinks and walk around the strip with a bunch of bars and all different types of vibes :))

breakfast by the airbnb was GOOOOD definitely try the bread and the homemade guava sauce, and the fresh tamarindo juice :))) arrive super early it gets busyyyy. a tourist spot for sure but we didn’t mind

costs 10$, super pretty views. get here as early in the day as you can (they open at 9am) because it gets PACKED and also so so hot. we only did the main view and then left LOL but it was definitely worth checking out. admission to this also gets you admitted into the castle in old san juan and i think you have 2 days to visit both.

love hate relationship with this, i love cool concepts but i feel like it was giving gimmick and i don’t know if id go again. my boyfriend loved it tho and it definitely was worth even just going once. do the google review to get a free keychain :))

cute little area with so many shops and vendors. bring a sun hat it gets so hot and keep an eye out for chickens/chicks :)

lots of people snorkeling/hanging out on the beach. cool little cove to explore right close by as well. got super windy and at times felt cold, i got BURNTTTTT here so please wear sunscreen. good place to stop to cool down after old san juan :)

chicken mofongo with the creamy garlic sauce was good but the star of the show was the arroz mamposteao, OH MY GODDDDDD this rice was the best rice i’ve had maybe ever. do not get the chicken with the passionfruit sauce it’s just grilled chicken on a plate LOL. expensive and giving gentrification but that rice was something beautiful.

went back here again because it was right by the dinner spot, got a pineapple pina colada this time :)! my first time having one and oh my god it was so heavy LOL. see pic for how sunburnt i was at this point

went here for hookah and was a cute lil vibe playing pool. was very empty so we got the place to ourselves, hookah was meh not the best i’ve had but we’ve had a lot. service was ehhhh as well. still had a lot of fun :))

my first time going to la placita of the trip and BOY OH BOYYYYY it was fun. the first place that plays rap music and has hookah near the front was our fav vibe (who knows the name) of the night. pay attention to prices of drinks because if it’s expensive go somewhere else you’ll find it cheaper :) there’s literally like 15 bars maybe more. touristy but also lots of locals. pro tip: walk out of the area a bit before ordering ubers or you’ll wait foreverrrrr

boy oh boy was this absolutely freaking amazing and so worth it. i got this like triple meat panini and UGHHHHH it was so good. im not kidding when i say get here as early as you can because this is another tourist spot that blew up on tik tok and you’ll wait forever if youre not there around opening time. would go back immediately

rented a car from enterprise here and had such a smooth experience!! in and out in 10 minutes with our jeep for the day :)

if you head out to crash boat beach like we did PLEASEEEEE stop here and take pics/videos. what a view

PREFACE: this is 2 whole hours from san juan. crash boat beach had good vibes, lots of locals i don’t know if there was really many other tourists. you do have to pay for parking and there’s no bathrooms. good for swimming, beautiful view you just HAVE to see the west coast. the drive to get out here is insane it’s like 35 mph most of the way and you’re DEEPLY imbedded in local culture but 9/10 recommend if you’re up for the drive

oh my god this was my fav beach experience of the whole trip i’m being so serious. prepare to be deeply imbedded in local culture (little to no tourists at all besides us), bunch of food/drink stands, good waves and good views. parking sucks but we went around 5pm so people had started leaving for the day and it worked out. literally if you don’t go to a single beach in PR but one please go to this one i’m not joking.

food was really pretty good you know i had to get that mamposteao rice again 🙂‍↔️ was packed and i enjoyed feeding the birds

back againnnn literally go a couple times when in town it’s so worth it for the people watching alone. tourist trap of the night: people who charge you to hold their monkey/parrot

get the potatoes with the green aoili sauce, cheese and dip them in chipotle sauce. you’ll thank me later :)) this place was absolutely gas but once again get there so early or you’re cooked you won’t get a table for hours

cool lil mall tbh bigger than what we have in new jersey. literally the only tourists there but it was fine we bought a couple things and just enjoyed the time in the shade since my skin was COOKED at this point and i could barely walk LOLOL. do NOT try churches chicken here i almost threw up because it was uncooked and terrible 💀 we’ll see if i ever even try churches again

close to here they had a lil concert going on with vendors and if you ever see this stand pictured PLEASE get the pernil arepa it changed me as a person and i’ll never stop thinking about it

last lil stop by the airbnb before we headed out for sunset and wave jumping :(( in gated community but it’s okay just keep walking thru. waves were rough no one really stayed in the water any longer than 10 min but if ur experienced you’ll have fun jumping the waves! almost cried at this beach because it hit me id have to leave this paradise :(
