Attended Brimfield for the first time in September 2025 and planning a return trip in May 2026

General tips

Pro Tips for First-Timers
  • Bring essentials: measuring tape, comfortable shoes, and prepare for heat or light rain (most events are rain or shine)
  • Create a "wish list" with measurements if necessary
  • Plan for transport: parking can fill quickly; splitting rides or using hotel proximity helps.
  • Bring cash - many vendors take card but then they add tax + processing fees. You can haggle more with cash as well. Recommend $200-250/person
  • Haggle smart: Vendors often offer better deals on Saturday–Sunday as the show winds down
  • Be nice about haggling, try 50% off their price if they seem willing. If they are more curated, try 25% off. Don't push. Works to not act excited about things (hard).
  • Prepare for crowds: popular fields like May’s can get busy quickly after opening.
  • Weekends are much busier than weekdays, but still worth it especially for first timers to "get a feel" for it.
  • Parking: Arrive early for easier access and space options; lots range from $10–$20
  • We recommend parking in Quaker Acres. Central location, $10/day, clean port-o-potties, shaded parking, nice staff.
  • Porters: Available and helpful if you buy large items; also, some dealers may offer delivery options
  • Traffic: Expect crowded fields and town traffic—plan extra time between visits
  • Food: Food trucks abound on-site (BBQ, Thai, desserts, lobster rolls)
