The South of Northeast Region in Thailand is one of the rich historical places for Thai people and mostly overlooked by Foreigners and tourists. I would like to provide some lists of natural, historical places and restaurants for guidance
General tips
I recommend for a Road Trip in this zone, the premium CNR 1st class train from Bangkok to Ubon Ratchathani is available and easier to book more than Chiang Mai route
Saraburi Region
The Gateway to Northeastern region of Thailand. You may visit some restaurants and attraction along the way by Route 9 from Suvarnabhumi airport or directly up North from Don Mueang Airport
