Overall the whole vibe felt overly pretentious and a bit over priced, avocado was runny and watery lacking flavour, dirty plastic cups which smelt of food. Additionally the espresso was very poor quality and watery. Waiter who served us (manager I think) was arrogant and seemed very rude to the rest of the staff. The table was also sticky and not clean. We were also forced to sit outside even though upstairs was empty and only allowed to move when it rained. Service was quite slow, we were told that there would be a wait for food, however we ended up waiting longer than suggested, also appeared to be some favouritism towards certain guests and a table that arrived and ordered after us ended up receive food first and the only reason seems to be because they were friendly with the manager.

The only place dogs can't go is the butterfly and reptile enclosures. So much to see and a lovely environment. Ample activities for kids and buying animal feed gives you the chance to get close to a lot of different animals. Wonderful to see the polar bears and normal brown bears aswell, beautiful trail walks around the park that take you to the Big Cats section and just around the zoo, plenty of stuff to eat and drink on way round with kids play areas at same location with picnic areas if you did bring your own food, plenty of wash stations aswell! Would recommend good footwear you done mind getting dirty, we visited in November but I can imagine some places would still be kinder muddy even in the summer, most of the paths are tarmacked on the way round expect the paths through the woods(obviously), all and all I would book in advance and would 100% go again and recommend to anyone!

The atmosphere was relaxed, the seating comfortable, and the staff so helpful and professional. Our server was perfect, attentive without being intrusive, and very professional. We opted for the 2 Mains for £11.49 where you can add starter and/or dessert for £2.99 each. Garlic & Herb Mushrooms were ok, albeit the mushrooms very slimy. The Crispy Chicken Goujons were amazing, I would have these again and hope this are as good. The Mains.. so previously with the main meal the Garlic Bread could have been done for longer, this time it was overdone. Too be honest the majority of the Mains appeared to have been left on the griddle/oven a little too long, the Lasagne was well done, the chicken (Smothered Chicken) was too. The Skin on Fries were not the best. I appreciate we were not in a 5 star restaurant and given the price, I guess it was all in all ok. The food was edible, not the best, not he worst.. but will we return? The staff were friendly and polite. (PREVIOUS REVIEW) So.. if you look online for this particular Brewers Fayre.. the price showing (at the time of our visit,which is what enticed us) was £10.99 for two main meals on the lunch deal (Mon-Fri 12-6pm) HOWEVER once inside it is actually more.. £11.49.. when mentioned to staff (believe a manager, basically told they knew and were trying to get it changed!!! So not the price you may expect!!! Food... we both started with Garlic & Herb Mushrooms with BBQ Sauce.. the staff were helpful and changed one BBQ Sauce for another... HOWEVER.. the mushrooms were like bullets, trying to get a fork in or cut with a knife was near impossible... so we resorted to being uncouth, having to use our fingers!! So, they were slightly overcooked, and lacked any Garlic taste. With also both opted for the Smothered Chicken (Similar to Hunters Chicken). The Skin on Chips were ok, a little cold, the piece of Garlic Bread could have been cooked a little longer.. the Chicken was ok (Succulent, although did not actually taste like chicken.) There was a bit of a hiatus when more of us turned up than they had prepared for which meant them squeezing in everyone into a far too small a space. Having pre-ordered our meals, apart from the unexpected arrivals, there was no apology for the long delay of nearly an hour before our, mainly burger, meals arrived. The burgers are normally £16.25, but most of us took advantage of the Thursday '2 for £22' offer, which worked out at £11 each, including trimmings, sauce and skin-on fries. I watched the kitchen assemble our meals on a high counter, which was such a slow process, my food, apart from the chips, was tepid when it eventually arrived. Everyone found the char-grilled sweetcorn tough and difficult to eat. Had I not been in a group, the food would have been sent back. It was not satisfactory for a venue whose website claims 'takes pride in delivering an exceptional dining experience'. This was distinctly average, at best. The burger itself was clearly of good quality, ditto the toasted brioche bun. One of our group sitting near me opted for the grilled lamb salad which, at £20.45, was so enormous, a huge doggie bag was willingly wrapped up. Several folk opted for desserts including the 'Black Forest brownie sundae (spelt Forrest on the menu) at £9.95 and a 'Mini cheese and port' (£7.75) which was most certainly a very small fromage indeed. Except it was cubes of Black Bomber and Suffolk Blue. This venue is geared up for large wedding parties, so why they faffed about so long for a group of just 20 unimpressed me greatly. We visited mid-afternoon today (Sunday). We had booked the table. We were given a warm, friendly welcome and we were shown through to our table. The member of staff explained the child’s menu to us and also mentioned that a roast could also be provided for my son if he wanted it. The menu card for children is a nice touch, simple Tick boxes next to the items required. The child’s menu is either two or three course set menu. My son opted for chicken nuggets and chips and he really enjoyed it. He had ice cream for dessert. Soon after we sat down at the table we were asked if we wanted any drinks, we asked for a few more minutes and then another member of staff appeared a little later to take our order. I chose Roast turkey dinner which was exceptional. The turkey was moist, the vegetables were cooked just right and the Yorkshire pudding was large, light and crispy. Perfect. My wife chose a beef brisket burger which she really enjoyed too. The restaurant is incredibly clean and the staff were very professional. I was very impressed and I will definitely be coming back.

The portions were too small, and the staff were really stingy with the "bottomless drinks". The lady that was serving, which seemed to be the "supervisor" was very unfriendly and difficult to deal with, it looked like she was doing us a huge favour every time we asked for assistance. She definitely made sure she was slowing down her staff, so they wouldn't have to serve our group a lot of drinks. We had 4 adults in our group and opted for the seafood share plate for 4. The meal was just so amazing and full of lovely seafood options, mussels, salmon, octopus, prawns and more. Alongside this we shared the spicy pork ribs as a starter. We were there to celebrate my wife's birthday and the serving staff surprised us with a strawberry cheese cake and candle/sparkler. This was a wonderful gesture. Again, we had a brilliant meal and I thoroughly recommend this place if you like tapas-style dining. You have to try it to believe it.

The staff here were all fantastic, polite, extremely helpful considering we arrived late due to traffic and still fitted us in to a very busy restaurant. Lovely choice of pork, gammon, turkey and beef and an abundance of vegetables with a really nice cauliflower cheese which suited me perfectly all topped with a sumptious yorkshire pudding and gravy. I can honestly say that there was not one item on my plate that disappointing and I personally can only give it 5 Stars which I never really expected to do...but Ipswich...you did Toby Carvery proud. Your staff are top quality as is your food.

My food was made relatively quickly but as the staff member called out my number it was taken by another customer and the staff member walked away. There were people already sitting down enjoying hot drinks and food after a hard morning shopping. We walked over to the counter and checked out Thier breakfast menu also looking rather impressed at the choice and value. We ordered. the friendly staff took our order and made our drinks. As we went over to find a table we were very impressed the tables and area was very clean and tidy. As We waited on the food we tasted out drinks (two of the most perfect hot chocolates) could of been a bit hotter but all in all very nice. Then came the food. The eggs looked like they had been borrowed off the near by McDonald's hard rubbery and full.of cold grease. The bacon I presume didn't like the frying pan as you can see in the attached images. The toast should of just been left as bread as it would of been warmer. On an up side though the beans and the sausages were top notch. Overall quite a plesent experience. But Tesco as you say every little helps . Have a little rethink to see if your 9 pound breakfast could have a little bit more care and attention. Sort this out and you will be up there with Morrisons.

Without their help while they were checking stock my auntie could have been in a very bad situation due to her disabilities. Several places refused to help and as I went door to door begging for someone to show a little kindness I happened upon Willys & Millys. The staff here, over the years, have always been polite and friendly. I walk past quite a few cafes to get here! The vegan selection is ace! I had an oat cappuccino and the Bosh! Choccy slice. I placed my order of a McSpicy, rid of lettuce and add Bacon and Cheese, with a large fry and a toasted marshmallow hot chocolate, with chicken selects. I then went upstairs to the plentiful amount of seating available. The 3rd floor was sadly blocked, with no reasoning for, however it seems to be always blocked. Most tables were dirty, with food on the floor, and sauce on the tables, but its a Maccies, what'd you expect? The toilets sadly seemed to not be looked after well. After a 15ish minute wait, I got the food. The McSpicy and Chicken Selects were just perfect, like usual. However, the chips were luke-warm, and tasted like it was just left out for like 10 minutes before being served. This is where it gets a bit... I went to try my "Toasted Marshmallow Hot Chocolate." It was sadly coffee instead, with the toasted marshmallow. It, obviously because of the weird combo, tasted disgusting. I had to go downstairs to get it remade as an actual hot chocolate. The worker there was good and remade it instantly, which is a good thing, so whoever that worker was thank you. Overall, it isn't the worse McDonalds, but it isn't the best. However, it is in a good location if you are in town. If you don't mind getting a bus or driving a bit I'd recommend you go to McDonalds in Whitehouse, but this McDonalds is still good, certainly better then some other ones I've been to in Ipswich.
