Went with a friend, and we both ordered the smashed avocado on toast (£8.99) that comes with halloumi fritters and 2 poached eggs. Both of us wanted it without the poached eggs. My daughter's kids meal was supposed to come with a drink and fruit but nobody came to us to get one so I just helped myself from the counter and hoped I was taking the 'right' things. Really easy to find, limited parking available. The place is decorated very nicely and kept very clean. The menus are packed with decent food. Breakfast, lunch snacks and desserts. When we first arrived from Australia, the bland English cuisine was a bit of a shock, despite being warned! Fortunately my wife and I found Café Liza’s in our first week and made it our regular. The owners are friendly and care about customer service and food. It is a little piece of civilised continental Europe on an otherwise bleak landscape where the coffee and the food is handmade with love. I highly recommend this café, it is the best one in Bradford and probably Yorkshire. Five stars from me!

The workers at harlequin cafe really do not know how good they are at their job. I cannot recommend this cafe enough to anyone it truly is amazing. The teacakes and the flat cakes are always lovely and soft it really is the most enjoyable breakfast anyone can ever have. I have tried a lot of cafes and i can honestly say that harlequin is the best cafe i have been to ever.
