The outside tranquil cafe is still closed to date because of Covid but you can still enjoy the greenery and peace around the back of the house. Discretely signed outside, you would be forgiven for thinking it was a private residence. While I enjoyed the ambience of the house, their was no atmosphere or everyday household objects left of the original home. It contains artifacts donated by the family of the poet Guerra Junqueiro which are mainly silver, gold, tapestries, church artifacts and beautiful hand tooled leather chairs plus interesting old boxes & locks. The entry fee is €3 per adult and I felt extremely good value , some of these cars I’d definitely never see on the streets and was great to see them today . There is a second part to the museum on the floor above also worth a visit . The staff are very pleasant and extremely helpful . I would recommend a visit when you’re in Porto .

There were plenty of other interesting cars there mainly mercs and a beautiful Citroen CX25 Prestige. I love old cars and this was a treat for me and I’d fully recommend it , the cost was €3 per adult and the lady at reception was extremely helpful and was able to explain to me various questions I’d asked and in English as my Portuguese is limited .
