The grounds are in lovely condition with ample well maintained sidewalks and patios.

Nice views and vista overlook that’s less than 10 minutes from downtown Ensenada. To get there, you have to drive up a semi-steep hill and park on a somewhat hidden road. Be careful, cars have a blind spot driving up! Once you are on top, the street parking is on the right side, next to the entrance to the gates community (pictured). When you are leaving, you make a tight u-turn back up. Once you park, walk across the street the overlook is a short walk away. No wheelchair access but older folks/disabled folks have access and can take their time to get there once they cross the street. The location is not the cleanest and the city could clean it up a bit but great overall!

The issue we had was with service very slow and flustered staff, so keep that in mind if you are in a time crunch. The ceviche was my favorite! The shrimp was so plump and tasted so fresh. Pai Pai is simply amazing! They are a wildlife sanctuary that rescues animals. It is about a 30 minute drive from Ensenada, Mexico. The place is literally in the middle of nowhere so if you take an Uber from the Ensenada cruise terminal be sure to get the phone number or contact of your Uber driver which is much cheaper than a taxi for sure. We got an Uber for US $13.50 and yes for a full half hour it took for the ride. The taxis at the terminal were charging about $80.!!
The park itself is small compared to any zoo in the US but has many animals. For about US $103 per person it paid for not only admission but also up close encounter with three of the tigers/jaguars they had rescued. The best was with a 2 month old tiger. So awesome! We had a personal guide the entire time and yes , there was a disclaimer we had to sign before they allowed us to be in with the animals, in case they decided we would be lunch I suppose! At all times there was a trainer with the animals we were in with. Very safe and we had a great time! Our guide Gabriel was totally awesome and full of so much information. Well worth the trip!

We signed up to see this as we exited the cruise ship and took a shuttle downtown. Not sure it was worth the extra money. The kids liked the zip line but it was small and not a fancy one, just takes you over some animal enclosures. We did feed a raccoon and pet a cheetah (pretty sure it was drugged) because it could not stay awake or alert when we were in its enclosure. Besides petting the few animals the rest of the zoo was small and the animals didn’t seem to be taken care of very well. It was a little sad.

Nice statue. The view was beautiful. I could honestly see taking a lunch up and enjoying the views of the city. Not really any garden to speak of. Walking up into the lower section, new stairs were installed. However they were not done well. Ended up tripping and dropping a couple of things down into them. Only one young couple kissing and some strange man collecting things off the ground were there when I visited. The statute is something to see, but their are better views of the city elsewhere.

I never would have imagine a winery like this in the middle of the Mexican dessert. This place has everything and I would dare to say is at par or better than most Napa/Sonoma wineries. The views, the service, the wine, the attention to details, the different games to make the tasting experience better, the tapas, the knowledge of the people, all made for an elevated experience surpassing the best wineries in other regions. We went with the blind wine tasting and the personnel made the whole thing super interesting, fun and educative. I have never seen this in other wineries. The 1st of 2 wineries of our really cheap $40 Costco Travel wine tasting tour. LA Cetto is the largest, most established, and modern winery in Mexico(don't quote on me on that). Started with a somewhat interesting 25-30 minute tour of winery...just long enough, our lovely, energetic, and English fluent speaking tour guide Anatella was a delight. The facilities are modern and the landscapes are lovely. The bread, cheese, and olive oil snack was fresh and delicious, but the wines were even better! The two whites were light, crisp, smooth and refreshing...the two reds were bold, robust, rich, and fragrant. Anatella even brought out a bottle of Grappa for me try, loved! We ended up buying two bottles of white, a bottle of red, a bottle of grappa, and bottle of olive oil which totaled to be about $80 American, which is an absolute deal compared to Napa and Sonoma.

Desde que llegamos recibimos la mejor atención y amabilidad por parte de los dueños y los meseros.

I tried a four-glass white wine tasting course, and all of them exceeded my expectations. The Sauvignon Blanc was fruity yet nice and crisp, with a clean finish, which is how I like it. We chose this place because it is historic; the oldest vineyard in Baja and second oldest in Mexico. Marcos also did a good job explaining the history of the wines and the vineyard. We did Package A, which included a fantastic guided tour through the winery. Our host, Guillermo, was outstanding—his deep knowledge of wine, the winemaking process, and the history of the vineyard made the experience truly memorable.
We got to see the wine barrels up close and learn about each step in the process, which gave us a deeper appreciation for what goes into every bottle. Guillermo also shared the story behind Barón Balché—including its name, inspired by a sacred Mayan drink and culture—which added a fascinating layer of meaning to the entire tasting.
The wines were excellent—rich, expressive, and clearly crafted with care.
A beautiful stop in Valle de Guadalupe that’s well worth it.

No hay sin duda que el lugar esta muy agradable a la vista, se esta relajado y puedes pasar buen rato, si es que te atienden bien. Reading negative reviews about Vena Cava is mind blowing. Every time we go to Ensenada or Valle de Guadalupe, we stop at Vena Cava. They have some of the most unique and delicious wines. Gigi is always amazing and Troika next door has a great selection of foods and desserts.
If you’re looking for a glitzy Napa/Temecula winery, this isn’t it. It’s rustic, raw, and uncompromisingly authentic.

We had an amazing experience at Lechuza. Not only were the wines wonderful, the food was the best we had on our entire vacation. Our host was incredibly passionate and informative about his wines, and creating an impact in his community. And then there’s the wine. Every single bottle we tasted was outstanding. Our favorites were the Pluma and Amantes—both stunning in their own ways—but the Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay were equally impressive. We specifically went to Ensenada to taste amazing wine and Vinos Lechuza did not disappoint! Kristin was inspirational with her passion for wine and I could literally listen to her talk about wine for hours…as long as I could also keep sipping her wine along the way! This winery - while beautiful - is right next to a busy road so there is some traffic noise. I’m not calling that a negative because that also makes this is a great choice for, say, folks in Teslas that can’t hack it on the bumpy backroads of Valle.
That being said, Lechuza had some of the most unique wines I’ve tried anywhere. I love the creativity.
We were there in the off-season l, but it was still hopping so reservations were a good idea. It felt like they were unusually short-staffed. The service was decent - not bad by ANY means - but I do suspect it was below their usual standard. We could tell the guy who did our tasting was so busy that he wasn’t able to give the amount of attention he wanted to his tables.
Food was decent, if presented fairly basically.
There are some cute unique gifts inside, and a little coffee corner. It’s all beautiful.

I’m an avid wine drinker and take tours to El Valle so I like to explore the wineries before I take people so here’s my review for this place: Front staff was not very friendly or welcoming. The lady up front was telling us we forcefully had to all purchase tastings to be able to sit at a table and the people in our group who weren’t gonna purchase tastings had to wait outside. First of all our group likes to purchase bottles and cheese boards, she didn’t even offer us any other option and she said She didn’t allow the people that didn’t want to purchase tastings to use the restroom. No wonder the place was empty. Never going back. I definitely don’t recommend this place. If there’s one thing I look for in a place, it’s customer service and this place really lacks. Save your trip there and go to places more friendly where your entire group can enter and sit together even if they don’t drink wine, but might drink something else. There are way better places out in El Valle!

This is a beautiful winery off the beaten path. The ambiance is peaceful, the cellar (Cava) is like going back in time to another century and the wines are better than the wines we tasted at very expensive wineries at Guadalupe Valley. Ochentos pizzeria is a five minute drive from Three Valleys. This is a perfect place for those looking to have a quaint wine tasting experience without the tour buses and crowds. This is on top of my list. It beats Napa and Paso Robles in my book.
