I don’t even understand how or why it was as good as it was because it looks like any old burger but it was seriously amazing. Just simple food with every detail done to absolute perfection I guess. My partner had the chicken sandwhich our first visit and said it was a 10/10 too. The vibe here is great, super cute interior and the location is so close to where you’re probably gonna be on bourbon street so easy to pop in and I highly reccomend you do. I also want to comment on the service from the staff as I did see quite a few comments talking this down - both times we went we had a diffeeent server and they were both really lovely and attentive. They were friendly, Made sure we had everything we needed and seemed to genuinely care about delivering good service which wasn’t the case everywhere we went in the French quarter. 10/10, you gotta go here at least once but more likely, you’ll end up back twice.

We have been here before, a few years ago and enjoyed every bit of it, but tonight was a weird night. We had reservations and were 30 minutes early. We sat down at the bar and ordered some drinks. The bartender wasn't particularly friendly, but ok. After we finished our cocktails we were escorted to our table. Our waitress was friendly, we got some water and ordered some drinks, but it took a very long time for the drinks to come. The Calvados riff on a Sazerac was way too sweet and the boulevardier wasn't anything to write home about. The appetizers also took a long time. We ordered the deviled eggs, which were very tart (or at least two out of there were) and the cheese puffs were lukewarm. Then the entrees came out; a $38 8oz flat iron steak with pepper sauce that was supposed to be medium cooked, but came out medium rare/rare and a $54 6oz petite filet that was supposed to be medium rare but came out medium cooked. The pepper sauce had a weird dish soap taste to it and the petit filet was cold. I sent the petit filet back and after a few minutes it came back heated up in the oven, but it was still lukewarm. I sent it back again together with the other steak because it was undercooked. The waitress was very apologetic and came back a few minutes later with two new steaks. We didn't want to make more ruckus, so we didn't say anything, but the 8oz was undercooked again, switched for a petit filet and came with butter instead of the pepper sauce. The 6oz was ok. $54 ok, no, but ok. In the meantime I had ordered a glass of wine which again took ages to come. Having a view at the bar I noticed a bunch of drinks standing to be picked up and brought to their respective tables for over 10 minutes, until some staff member started asking questions. Eventually our waitress poured the wine herself and brought it over. She eventually apologized for the weird evening, which wasn't her fault, but still. And while we were waiting for our check, someone was smoking on the back patio and left the door open, stinking up the restaurant. It's not that I want anything for free, but I felt some compensation (a dessert or comping a few drinks) would have been a gesture of trying to make up for a pretty bad experience that cost us $200.

Cook just needs to be replaced. That attitude is just not welcoming and was tough to witness. It's shocking the business is thriving with her around. I'd avoid this location if possible. Long wait times, not "gracious" or welcoming. I'm not sure what the other rave reviews are about. But this place left a bad taste to start off our morning.

Good flavor but the microwaving to heat it up gave it a slightly rubbery texture. The laminated pastries though, ugh. VERY bready! You can see from the pictures that the Croissants look like something you get from a can made by Pillsbury. The Apple filled croissant tasted like the filling was straight from a can. They had some really cute pastries and cakes they call "animals" that we didn't try. The star of the show was the Tarte au Citron (Lemon Tart). The tart shell was good a flaky. The lemon filling was excellent. The meringue was tasty and piped well. Just a little over torched which gave it a slightly bitter taste. Overall a very good lemon tart and I would order it again. The atmosphere was wonderful and they had a fantastic courtyard. Most of the service was very good. The biggest complaint, and reason for only 2 stars on service was the lady at the register. The food was consistently great, and the service was warm, friendly, and welcoming every time. The star of the show, though, has to be their butter biscuits. Hands down, the best we’ve ever had in our lives. My friend and I even joked (only half-joking!) that we’d fly back to New Orleans just for another biscuit. If you’re in the city and looking for a true breakfast gem, Majoria’s Commerce should be at the top of your list.

They have a $28 small plate lunch special that I ordered: Gulf shrimp with chili butter, tasso collared greens, truffle Mac & cheese, and carrot soup with crab. The shrimp and soup didn’t have any flavor at all to me, and the soup had a few shells in it. The truffle Mac and greens were delicious though, with the greens being my favorite. But first lets talk about the location which is inside the windsor court hotel this restaurant is located at the first floor with a beautiful entrance doorman opening door for you light music playing at the background next to the restaurant as there is a bar . Since this is located close to river walk mall or behind the ceasars casino hotel its at the very quiet place so very good spot for talking with business clients and romatic dinner. Food & beverage - great presentation but very small portion as we will see that in a photo i will post not great option for vegetarians except mushroom. When i ordered appetizers and maincourse i did not have any option so i ended up getting mushrooms both the time. The most disappointing food was scallops appetizer i would say our AMUSE was bigger than that. Great selection of wines and drinks as expected in a fine dinning restaurant i would say check the wine menu at home if you wanna save your time. Fantastic dessert. Service- service was excellent EXCEPT when my two other friends told our waiter that we will share the scallops he should have told us that its a tasting portion :D lol my friends ended up eating up bread twice to fill them up. We ordered a nice white wine for $100 which waiter always kept an eye on us he poured wine and water always at the right time. Waiter was not friendly or interactive but he was very professional no doubt about that !! The best touch of the waiter was little breakfast rolls which we got after we paid our check. Atmosphere- beautiful lighting, nice view from the first floor, very comfortable chairs, white table cloth everything was spotless. We paid $200 for dinner for two people. The Raw salad was the only thing the group of 16 agreed was decent. The French onion soup was insanely salty, the squid was not only lacking any flavor even with the sauce (only enough for half maybe). The last piece was so awfully chewy I was barely able to chew the bite I took and skipped finishing it. The mushroom “steak” were basically three pieces of mushroom half the size of a shrimp. My main dish was the Duck breast ordered medium by everyone in our party was extremely overcooked and dry. The beef tartare was so overpowered by ginger that I was unable to taste any other flavors, including the beef. Also, I know wine is typically overpriced when sold by the glass, however, I was recommended a wine that costs less than $20 a bottle often, yet expecting the quality glass of wine I expected was cheap. Charging $20 for a glass of wine that is so cheap is not a good look. I expect quality and shouldn’t need to make a scene bc staff assumed I didn’t understand wine. We are a group of 16 artists. We were very dressed up, however as artists our style is a bit more alternative than the average person. Tables were separated and preset despite a reservation for 16, for 7 at each. Some staff was quite rude judging based on our appearances. Despite everyone being quite appropriately dressed and all of us being quite successful found their behavior offensive at best. Unfortunately, due to such a poor dinner, I ordered dessert in hopes they may redeem themselves. The house made biscotti with my cappuccino turned out to be really the only good part of the menu. The caramel mousse was as disappointing as dinner. It was dense, overly sweet and lacking the expected flavors. Go anywhere but here!
