The service is phenomenal. The food is absolutely delicious. The beverage selection was an amazing surprise from alcoholic to non alcoholic they were exquisite! The decor is centered around the game of chess, the massive windows allow light to filter in. They have indoor outdoor sitting, making this place perfect for all type of preferences. It’s connected to a plant nursery and a gift shop! Getting a reservation can be tough but if you can snag one, do it. If not, the wait isn’t too bad since you can walk around and shop on the side. Beware that the only parking is street parking and it’s very is limited. We walked right in on a Sunday with a party of 7 and found a table. Waitress was super nice and quick with service. The vibe was really nice inside.. The bartender, Madeline, was helpful, attentive, and very pleasant to deal with. She recommended me a drink with Passionfruit syrup in, which I was skeptical of (most Passionfruit drinks really overdo it), but it ended up being very lovely - well balanced, perfectly sweet and not overly tart. I ordered the Pretzel croissants as an appetizer, which came with a very nice cream-cheese like dip (I think it was made with Boursin?). For my entree, I ordered the rabbit, which was tasty for sure (although I couldn't get over the fact that I was eating a rabbit lol). Everything was presented beautifully, and I felt that the prices were fairly reasonable too (given the area). My only complaint is... paper straws, really? I know we have to save the planet and all, but a paper straw is barely better than no straw at all. Please investigate better eco-friendly options. They were one of the few places that had reasonable prices along with reservations. Upon arrival we were offered a table or booth. We opted for a booth and got a great, cozy half circle booth. The restaurant was not very crowded but busy enough to not feel weird. Our server was Alexandria. They were polite, professional, and gave great suggestions for the food. They made sure to give us space for our family to enjoy our time together, waited patiently to ask if everything was okay if we were in conversation, and made sure we were never in need of anything. Their passion for the food and the creativity of the chefs at the hotel was evident whenever they made a recommendation. Alexandria was one of the best servers I've experienced and appreciate all they did. The food was outstanding. So much so I only got a picture of the pumpkin cheesecake. My wife and I had the Thanksgiving special which featured a salad, soup, main dish, and dessert. I had the Caesar salad (unique prsentation with hald a head of romaine and delicious), the Lobster bisque (rich, creamy, flavorful, but not overpowering) and the pork chop (cooked to perfection with amazing spices and sweet sauce that complimented splendidly). The pumpkin cheesecake was delightfully light and not to sweet or rich. The candied pumpkin seeds were a combination I never knew I needed. My wife had the beat salad, butternut squash bisque (like a liquefied pie, possibly even better than the lobster bisque) and the pork. My kids had a cheeseburger with Mac and cheese (both were arguably the best I've ever experienced and I raise my own beef!) and the chicken tenders. The bread that was served in between courses was baked to perfection, and the cheese and herb spread was a taste sensation. All in all, the Preston gave us a safe, cozy space for our family to enjoy our time together, reflect on the previous year, and hope for the future. All the staff was professional, friendly, and upbeat. The food was marvelous and superb. I'd highly recommend the Preston and would come back again.

The potential is definitely there for this to be a good Chik'n patty, it just needs some more attention IMO. The space is cute - industrial coffee shop vibes, greeted cheerfully, everything smells good. It is, however, tiny, and all the seating is high top. It's also LOUD. Difficult to hear yourself think or carry on a conversation. It's a walk-up order and then they bring food to you. We had a variety of things - tater tots, biscuits and gravy, GOAT chicken sandwich, OG breakfast sandwich, a cinnamon roll, and some coffee. The cinnamon roll was AMAZING. The tots were pretty good, but they were over-fried and very greasy. OG sandwich was good, not great. The chicken sandwiches are disappointing - was NOT expecting a thin, frozen chicken patty and jarred pickles sliced so thin you can't taste them. But the real problem was the sausage gravy. A member of our party has an onion allergy. We asked when checking out about the dishes we'd be sharing, and we were assured they would all be fine. The food came out, and there were onions cooked into the gravy! Thankfully, we check all our food before eating, but disregarding allergy inquiries is completely unacceptable. And on top of this, I am a gravy purist and don't think it should have contained onions for culinary reasons either. It was also broken and had standing grease in it. Finally we are seated at 8:45. Show doesnt begin until well after 9 PM. It was a cute show but it was cut short and seemed rushed. Glass bottles of water at the table but no glasses. Ended up drinking straight from the bottle. No toilet paper in the restroom and Dawn dish saop for hand washing at the sink. Classy. Dinner was.....just not it. We both had the steak. The salad was good, albeit very small. And the steak and sides had good seasoning but the steak itself was completely extra well done and bone dry. I don’t really think you can call it cabaret if they just do some weird cruise number and take their tops off for 15 seconds at the end of the show. the way they kept trying to force that it was ~sexy~ was just cringe. the graphics were bizarre-fire your graphic designer or whoever made the background graphics, it was whack, outdated, and horribly done. Anyways, there’s a lot of potential but the entire place looks cheap, the show was not something i’d pay for or return to. the drinks and service were redeemable, but without the proper entertainment, it’s just a bar with weird shows and a corny MC.
