Great spot for breakfast or brunch! Bronx Bagel was amazing—fresh and flavorful. The SG Potatoes are an absolute must, perfectly seasoned and cook3d just right. The Sweet Potato Pancakes were exceptional, and the Liege Waffles were fantastic—sweet, warm, and indulgent. Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere round out a great experience. Highly recommend!

Hospitality goes such a long way here!!! Food was also delicious, not even 10 minutes after ordering, the food was already on our table. What I love best about this place is the patio outside. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, with fast and friendly service. The hostess was especially welcoming—she even chatted with us since we were all from PA.
I ordered the half and half special which included chicken and waffles and gumbo. The chicken and waffles with chipotle honey sauce were absolutely delicious. The waffle was perfectly cooked, and the chicken was tender. Gumbo was packed with flavor! The biscuits were huge and satisfying. If you enjoy mimosas, don’t miss the lemon blueberry mimosa—my first time trying that combo, and it won’t be my last. 10/10!
The only minor downside was that some of the food arrived lukewarm, as if it had been waiting on the rest of the order. Still, I would absolutely go back and highly recommend this spot in the charming Siesta Key Village.

Visited on a Sunday around 1 PM. The atmosphere feels more like a casual cafeteria — a bit noisy, a bit crowded, not the coziest vibe. It seems like a spot mainly designed for tourists to grab a quick bite between the beach and the next activity.
That said, the food was surprisingly good. The vegetarian omelet was well-made, and the chicken burger was a solid 5 out of 5 — juicy, flavorful, and really satisfying. Service was friendly and fast, no complaints there.

Great experience all around. Service was very friendly and quick. Between the hostess and our server, Kaden, they both had exceptional food and drink recommendations. We both ordered the lemon blueberry mimosas. We were suspicious of them at first because the glass was half full, however, the flavor was amazing and it actually was the perfect amount for a Sunday morning. I ordered the corned beef and brussel sprout hash, per Kaden’s recommendation. That might’ve been the best meal I’ve ever had for a Sunday brunch. We also ordered the country power bowl, also per Kaden’s request. Both meals were delicious with very generous portion sizes. We will be returning if we are ever in Siesta Key again!

The Toasted Mango Cafe was fine, we all thought the food had not a lot of flavor. Seemed to have no seasoning on anything. Had to put pepper and hot sauce to get something. The staff was friendly, definitely just trying to churn and burn you as quick as possible. Which is fine it’s a busy place and the more tables the more money just could’ve used a little more personal touch. My wife did say her burrito was good. The omelettes were very bland. Potato cake was fine. Did enjoy the jam for the toast. Very sweet. We did get smoothies to go that were alright as well. I wouldn’t go back but it’s close to the beach and super busy for tourists.

My wife and I spent our 20th anniversary in Sarasota/Siesta Key/Longboat Key over the 5/17/25 weekend. We went here 3 times. :) Yes, it's THAT good. First of all is the service - if you ever get a chance to meet Johanna, or Megan & Jonas (married), do it! We're talking great people here. All 3 are high level customer service gurus, including knowing about and ensuring meals are gluten free if they need to be. As a matter of fact, I'll go out on a limb and say all of the employees are spectacular and do their best at customer service - it's just that kind of place. Now for the food - well we returned 3 times. :) Breakfast is served all day and it's so damn good. I think these guys could double their dining area and still have a wait line (goes fast though). We even bought a t-shirt to take home. :) One of their specials, a "Strawberry Lemon Stuffed French Toast", is seen in the pics here. Read that menu item back to yourself - whoever dreamed that deliciousness up should receive an award. And it's as good as it sounds!!!! LOVE this place!!!!!
Note to celiac sufferers - they have a dedicated fryer with YUMMY fries and may other awesome items! This place is also in the "Gluten Dude" app and we can see why.

This place is fire! Almost the entire menu can be made Gluten Free - seriously. The owner is celiac and all servers know their stuff. The only thing you want to avoid for cross contamination are the waffles, everything else you are in the clear! It's awesome! The Mango Butter is so good, especially on the French Toast! I’m a local & have been to “all the breakfast places” IYKYK! How did I ever miss this place?!!! AMAZING Food & Service! The two managers were extremely friendly and stopped by our table to explain their offerings and again to check that we received and were enjoying every thing we ordered. Brooke our server was a morning delight with her bright smile and attentive service. She won’t leave your glass empty no matter what you order! Sunday Funday absolutely started here with 1/2 price Mango Mimosas that were delicious! Their menu was expansive. We were a party of 4 and we tried a little of everything. I’m one of those picky eaters, and this restaurant set their bar high, and have definitely met it! Sweet potato breakfast potatoes! Hollandaise sauce! Fresh fluffy omelette! Patty melt dripping with cheese! Sausage gravy! Mango honey butter! The BEST coarse grits! The wraps! Sweet & Savory jalapeño candied bacon! Every item we had was delicious & served hot! Definitely skipping the other places and heading here again & again! This place is a 10/10!!!

Wow! Just wow! From the sweet greeting we got, the great service and the food everything was fantastic! My partner who loves a good hash, had nothing but good thing to say about theirs! The potatoes tasted like they were cooked on an open flame (a very surprising and pleasant change from the usual), the grits were creamy and smooth and did not need anything else added to them (I'm a Cheesy grits girl, so that says a lot). This is a quaint little place my wife and I have passed by on our way to Lido Beach several times. Today we decided to stop and have breakfast. We opted to eat outside in the back. We were seated immediately. It was a cool morning and was very comfortable and it had a very nice ambience to it. Our server was friendly and competent and service was very good. I could have gone for more bacon (I received two pieces) and sausage (I received 1 link). They had a sign saying that their pancakes were voted best in Florida. They were quite delicious, but I'm not ready to crown them best in state yet. Also, there were just 2 pretty small pancakes included in Uncle Harry's Hearty Breakfast. I think to qualify as a "hearty" breakfast, it could have included more pancakes, bacon, and sausage. Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our experience here, and I can envision more stops here in the future on our way to the beach!

We ordered cappuccinos with almond milk (great coffee), orange juice for my kiddos and avocado toast w/hash browns (the guacamole wasn't the best), truffle eggs Benedict (really good dish) and bacon salted pancakes (portion of 3 was great for my youngest and couldn't finish it).
We waited around 15 minutes to be seated (it was crowded), and then the service was a bit slow but our server was friendly and diligent (she had many tables to serve).

But this year (2025) July 8-12 week we have tried to get them from their stickney point location to no avail every time we walk up to the window regardless of how long we wait there is a be back soon sign. Been there four times only to find the sign. So owner of that location, your employee is likely taking advantage. We were trying to find the restaurant monkey waffles and stopped a couple walking down the road and ask him if they knew where it was. They recommend it c'est la vie restaurant that they frequent often. They were out for their daily walk and suggested to follow the road to main Street and will basically be able to park right there on the street. We parked a short distance away from c'est la vie restaurant. They had tables out front that people were seating outside such as they have in Europe cafes. As we walked inside we were greeted by the employees and owner and facing the pastry display case in front of us. Everything look delicious and of course we took some French pastries home. But we ate breakfast outside at one of the tables. I had the half Bayonne sandwich and house salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing. My wife had a sweet crepe banana, Nutella, strawberries and whipped cream. The food was fresh and extra ordinary, the atmosphere inside and out of the restaurant bakery was reminiscent of a good European Cafe and service was excellent.
Highly recommend stopping by for breakfast, Danish we're going fast so I recommend getting there early. Parking was on the streets and you have to pay to park.

The restaurant is waterfront and right next to a marina/boat yard and marine center. There are always boats being launched, refueling, or just cruising by. On a sunny day, it is a perfect waterfront spot in Sarasota to boat watch.
The Pelicans are always swooping for fish and putting on a show for restaurant guests. You can also occasionally see jelly fish, we just saw a couple hundred swimming by on our last visit.
Rain or shine, Old Salty Dog is always worth a visit. The patio gets the perfect amount of sun on a sunny day with light sun shades, a gulf breeze, and the perfect sunset back drop. On rainy days, you might have to wait a minute for an inside table or seat at the bar because they stay busy, but it is worth the wait.
As the name implies, they are known for their deep fried hot dogs and dog bites which are always a favorite. The burgers also hit the spot for a change up and the seafood doesn’t disappoint. If you’re looking for a frozen drink on a hot day, a delicious rum runner, or just a beer they have something for everyone.
The parking lot gets full pretty quick with limited spaces while they are working on the building next door, but additional lots are across the street and a short 2 minute walk.
We’d highly recommend Old Salty Dog for a casual waterfront restaurant in Sarasota with good food, good drinks, and the ability to come in your swim suit by boat or car.

If you ever come to visit Sarasota, you need to come down and visit this place. The service was great today and it always is. I've never had a bad experience and they are always accommodating. I had the breakfast buffet and recommend the Amish Delight which is to die for! The scrambled eggs were perfect and I have no complaints. I visited the upstairs store and they carry The Naked Bee products which I recommend the body lotion. The store itself can be a great distraction or to pass time because there is alot to see. Had a great lunch at Der Dutchman with friends visiting from Orlando and Fort Myers. We came around 2 PM and were impressed right from the start—plenty of parking, warm welcoming atmosphere. How exciting that I came across a Der Dutchman in FL! The last time I visited was at the locations in Ohio.
Delicious as expected. A not to be missed buffet filled with home cooked flavor. They also have a menu if you prefer to order.
If you come between breakfast and lunch you will also get donuts! The donuts are soft, pillow-like and filled with various creams. Crazy good.
This location has a restaurant, large gift shop, good size bakery, coffee shop and small selection of grocery staples.
Everyone is friendly, everything is clean and its not too busy during the weekdays. We came on Friday and the theme was seafood! Fresh and fried.
In addition, you get free soft- serve icecream with the buffet!

We've heard about this place. My wife and I tried it Thursday for lunch....OMG!! The food here is awesome! As a kid I remember open face turkey sandwiches at the diners of the day- Turkey on white bread with mashed potatoes and gravy. Der Dutchman has it on their menu! Seriously, the most delicious restaurant meal I've had in years, and my wife and I go out every week at least once.
Another childhood delish - My grandmother used to make Rhubarb pie, something you just don't find in restaurants or stores anymore. Der Dutchman has it!!! I purchased a whole pie to bring home.
Besides the fantastic foods, this place has a huge bakery, and store. The service was top notch. This was so good and even though it's a bit of a drive, we (and all of our friends now) will be going back here.

Such a delightful breakfast spot! Super laid back and absolutely delicious. I had the Bear Creek Sampler and substituted for chicken apple sausage. It was fabulous. The coffee was delicious too. Great menu choices. And the bathroom was immaculate! Always a good sign. On our way out, we bought half a carrot cake and two loaves of just out of the oven banana bread. Both wonderful. I wanted to try everyone of their cookies ha! I highly recommend this cafe and can’t wait to return.

Mojo is not only the best place to get coffee on Sieta Key but they serve the BEST espresso martini you will ever have....trust me I have tried alot! We had such a wonderful experience at Green Zebra Café! It’s rare to find a restaurant that truly caters to different dietary needs without compromising on quality or taste, but this place delivered on every level. I was thrilled with all the raw vegan options, everything was fresh, colorful, and full of flavor. I’ll be posting some photos because the presentation was just as impressive as the taste!
My father-in-law and kids aren’t vegan, so it was great that they had a wide variety of non-vegan options too. Everyone at our table loved their meals, which is no small thing when you’re dining with a group that has very different tastes and preferences. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, with friendly service and a bright, open space that felt relaxing from the moment we walked in. Visiting Yoder’s Restaurant brought back so many fond memories of the Amish cooking I’ve experienced in Lancaster, PA. This amazing Amish restaurant truly lives up to its reputation. The roasted BBQ chicken was super juicy and tender, so flavorful and savory with a great crunch on the crispy skin. I loveddd it! On Memorial Day our favorite breakfast locations were closed so my wife and I decided to try this location. We were sat right away and while the interior had a nice little vibe to it any positive thoughts were instantly taken away by how sticky the tile floor was. I could literally hear my shoes stick with each step. Not sure if this was due to soap not being rinsed properly or another reason but it did stick in my mind as we were walking to our table.
The omelet I ordered was good, as was the toast and bacon. I wish this location, though, had regular hash browns. They do not. Their only hash browns are cheesy. To not have a plain version really bummed me out. The only other option were potatoes that had sweet potatoes mixed in. Again, bummer, since I do not like sweet potatoes.
All in all, The Original Egg was okay but not having options that other locations such as Millie's or Max's Table have, means we probably will not be back.

I was always hesitant to try this place due to the bad reviews, but I'm here to tell you that people are sensitive and weak. There is nothing wrong with this place other than amazing coffee and good vibes. The woman at the counter was soft-spoken and sweet and made my experience incredible. Atmosphere and decorations were cute and the drinks and food were fine, but the customer service wasn’t the greatest. The employees came off as rude and dry, and had bad attitudes. We are back on the island and decided to give the Bean another try, on the chance that they were having an off day when we last came in. They weren’t. The customer service was still very below average. The workers were still unwelcoming and quite unfriendly. It felt like we were a nuisance and a bother to them. They weren’t very passive aggressive. Not a single “welcome in”, “thank you”, or “have a nice day”. We definitely will not be coming back again. We will be finding a new coffee shop where the workers value and appreciate their customers more.

Walked into this market and immediately felt welcomed and part of the neighborhood. Everyone was kind and sweet. We were seeking coffee and crescent beach did not disappoint!! Great little market and had most everything you could need last minute. It was nice to be able to have a local grocery store that was in walking distance from our condo instead of having to go off Siesta to a Publix. Also had a nice selection of beach gear in case you had forgotten a chair, towel or net for shelling. The deli was amazing and had a great selection of pre-made lunch items perfect for the beach. I had a late breakfast at Toasted Yolk. I walked in without reservations at about 2:30 (they close at 3). I was greeted immediately by a friendly lady. The ac wasn’t on inside so I chose to sit outside on the patio and it was a perfect breezy day. The food was amazing. I ordered a strawberry orange mimosa that was both pretty and delicious. It was my cheat day for my fitness routine so I ordered quite a bit, I ordered the eggs deluxe with turkey sausage, cheese grits, hash brown casserole, and French toast. Everything came out really fast before I could finish up some work I was doing on my phone. It was wonderful. I literally ate all of the grits before I remembered to take pictures lol. They were seasoned perfectly, when it was time to pay for my food my waitress informed me that a lady in the restaurant had already taken care of my bill, she was impressed by how much of a strong independent woman I appeared to be and wanted to do something nice 😩😩😩. That was so sweet I wish I had a chance to tell her thank you but she had already left, maybe asking the waitress not to tell me until she was gone. That is an attest to how nice and just easy going the people of Sarasota are, without any praise for doing so. I will for sure pay it forward. I felt bad because I truly over ordered but I still tipped my waitress $20. I will for sure return for mimosas and brunch.

New to the area, the wife and I tried the cinnamon donuts before the breakfast and a very good Latte. The server Katie was very quick to greet us, seat us, and provide excellent service. Our order was made correctly, it came out without delay and was very good.
Breakfast Burrito is recommended as well as the two egg breakfast. Everything was hot.

The smoothie was delicious, but I must echo the sentiments of the other reviewers regarding the lack of cleanliness and poor customer service. I came in last Sunday looking for a snack and a restroom before heading to the beach. When I arrived, I was greeted by two girls at a table doing some busy work and a young man behind the counter who said nothing. The girls were sweet and told me to let them know when I was ready to order.
After a few seconds, I told them that I was ready, and the young man walked over. I noticed that there was a blender on the counter that had a purple ring around it. I gave him my order and turned to go to the restroom, hoping that he would wash out the blender before making my drink. When I came out of the restroom, my drink was ready, and I noticed that the same blender now had green at the bottom and purple at the top.
Needless to say, I found this wholly unsanitary and a risk to my health. What if I were allergic to whatever was in the blender beforehand? And those types of blenders only need to be rinsed with water to clean, so why did he not at least do that?
Upon leaving, only the girls spoke--which at this point was unsurprising. After returning home and reading the comments, it seems that this behavior is rather typical, so it may be best to avoid this place altogether until they get it together.

Summer Tap crafts incredibly detailed decorated dishes that are super fresh. You can see them juicing your juice right infront of you and slicing the avocados and tomato’s one my one as well. However, for this reason the service is very slow, and it took us 20 minutes to get our Acai bowls and 30 minutes for the avocado toast after ordering.
