We went with the breakfast tacos and sliders. The sliders were really good. The breakfast tacos seemed like they needed more of the crispy potato as they were a little mushy and when I added more potato the crisp balanced them out and were more enjoyable. Flat white was perfect- although coffee got spilt and dripped off bottom of cup, the ice mocha was basically just an iced coffee with sprinkled chocolate so more coffee flavour than sweet, but still great. The table sizes were a little awkward, but thats not their fault really as it’s a small space. Sausage roll was good, filling was slightly dry but the pastry was soft and the relish was delicious. We had the seafood buffet which does offer quite a decent spread and variety of foods. The quality of seafood really differs i find. It's the perfect place for quantity, but if i really want solid seafood there are much nicer restaurants in the area. I did unfortunately come across a rude lady when it came time to pay. The service desk before our booking helping us put away our birthday sign balloons and cakes until our time was available. During our reservation all the staff were ever so helpful and really lovely to communicate with! Irish looked after us and made sure we were happy customers. Big thanks to duty manager Nigel for going out of his way checking in all the time and getting to know us as people. The gents toilets were small and not somewhere you’d want to need to go to. Food range was good and the brisket burger was ace. Kids meals were great and well sized. Steak was fine but more tough than anything. The prawns in the surf and turf weren’t great, as they swam in a seafood chooser type option and didn’t taste great. It’s nice being on the sea with the city in the background. Service was nice and friendly. I feel bad given 3 stars but the steak really brought down the average from a solid four stars.
