This church gets 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for the beautiful chapel murals and great works they do, in delivering food boxes 6 days a week! I use to help with the food deliveries on Saturdays with my good friend Kim, and her mother JoAnne (before she passed away). She will be dearly missed! After visiting a lot of churches over the years, I finally experienced the presence of God/the holy spirit here. The sermon was amazing. Everything the pastor said was amazing. The worship/prayer was the most amazing part, the most soul moving to me, and then the sermon came and i was blown away. He said people of low income, immigrants, sexworkers, etc all have a place with God and to do God's work. None should be looked down upon, essentially. Go look up his sermon from today Sept 7. Also, I guess I was wrong and years before this, I didnt go to this location but a different location with different pastors I believe. This isnt a typical church thats boring and yawn worthy and where people are always trying to look good and one up each other and judge others and get all your money. This is a church that will change your life through the presence of God! Also the pastor even brought up statistics like Harvard which made me like the church even more. They're factual! I could go on and on writing an essay, but i digress. Go here to experience it for yourself! This church has amazed me with 1 action alone. I dont go to this church, but 1 of the pastors definately walks the walk. He doesnt just talk the talk. Your tithing goes far, Jesus walks (within this church), Id say. I dont even go here or to any church for that matter (Im the farthest from a church goer type), and I can attest to that. If youre questioning things, reserve your questions, go here, and give the universe/God time to show you. I came here with a fellow stripper years ago and we didn't feel unwelcomed at all. I was not ready, but now I am and I cant wait to revisit. The pastors really do care about the poor and those shamed by society here at this church. They dont do it to be glorified. But I felt it was right to write this review because most churches I have experienced do not seem to care, but this one is different and it shows me God may be here, accessible, and worth a shot.
