I just stuck to drinks and some fries. No phones allowed during the show maybe partially due to having Louis CK doing a set that night and Kam Patterson killed! Service was excellent, food and drink options were great. Intimate atmosphere meant that the comedian/audience interaction was warm and hilarious. Great range of comedians with different styles. Made the night so special. Great location as well with plenty of close by bars and restaurants. Halloween Parade made it a little chaotic but that could not be helped. Kind of added to the memory.

The thing is the comic lineup was so fantastic and that’s separate from how poor the service was so now I would want to go back to another show but I wouldn’t want this same service. We love Carolines because you can semi reserve a table. We do not drink so we reserve the Green tables. It gets you one of the best seats for only $25. It’s important to have these spaces for artists to do shows to 50-200 people. But this place could use some serious reshaping. First off, $8 Miller high life in a plastic cup is disrespectful. The bottom bar shelves are so understocked you can see the dust around where the bottles used to be. Coffee mugs stacked so haphazardly it’s an eyesore. Harsh and overly bright lighting in bar area. No beer/shot combos, no prices listed on the chalkboard menu, no other menu source with prices included. I ordered a different beer after and the bartender didn’t even know which tap it was under (there’s only 6 taps). Staff seems undertrained but doing their best, I want to reiterate this is not a knock at them. It’s a management and ownership issue. It’s really a shame because most people would kill to have a place with this kind of potential. I'd read the reviews after buying the tickets and quite a few sent me under and would have probably stopped me from going if I hadn't already got them which would have been a shame because it was brilliant. We laughed through over 80% of it and the time flew by. It's a 2 drink minimum but it does say this on the tickets clearly and they tell you on the way in too. Note the show starts prompt if not a few mins early, seating begins 30 mins early I'd advise getting there 15 mins before. Once you're seated a few mins later a waiter comes over and takes your order for the 2 drinks you want (one comes straight away and the other about half way through) the beers are all bottles and are $9.50 and soft drinks are $6 and come in a large glass. This is pretty much standard prices for times square and I was actually expecting them to be dearer. I paid a lot more for drinks at Madison square garden at a basketball game and at winter gardens watching a Broadway show. We bought tickets off one of the PR's in Times Square for $20 each and allow you to turn up to any show on any day of your choice. I've read you can get them cheaper from the venue on the day or other PR's but I can't confirm this but either way it was worth $20. We went to the 9.15pm aduly humour show and there was 3 acts on (2 of them were absolutely hilarious) then another comes on whilst the waiters come round with your drink bills and then a final act (who again was absolutely hilarious) finished the show. Note they do add 15% to your bill as an advised gratuity and bill your card automatically for it but on a few drinks it was a minimal amount, mine was $4.50 which I didn't mind. It was so funny with some naughty humour and I'm really glad I went, it was better than some frog and bucket and comedy club nights I've been to in manchester.

There was a skinny little brown man who stayed within 5 feet of a woman while she was dancing towards the end one night at all times even though the floor was mostly empty and he didn't know any of her friends or her. She kept moving around the room because she was afraid and he kept following her. Hopefully he didn't keep up the behaviour when she left, because no one cared about her safety. Last time I went in, my face got grabbed by some random huge white man very roughly when I was walking by. I pulled away in shock and he grabbed my face again and tilted it upwards.
