值得一看，中国馆很多藏品都来自山西，壁画绝美。恐龙展也很震撼。ps 部分标示牌内容有误，很多藏品被赤裸裸的摆在那，被人摸来摸去，工作人员只是温柔的说一句“请不要摸噢”

这是第三次带孩子去这个地方。这是一栋造型别致的建筑。古典、现代相融合。里面布展基本没有变化，很适合带孩子来玩。不方便的一点就是停车，但大城市都一样不是吗？

Hmmm, ROM has a cool concept of having nature, culture and art all together. But the ambition was executed so badly. All the exhibitions are just too overwhelming with tons of items but not highlights or focuses. There are lots of collections for each room, big and small, and the routes are not ordered or organized to give the visitors some mental maps. It throws everything to you ALL AT ONCE. Hundreds of articles in the same glass case. I don’t know what to see and what is more significant. 已经去过不下5次了，我也不知道为什么要去那么多次，门票有点贵，停车另收10块钱，如果不买city pass的话有一点不值得。平时的话负一层在游泳池那里还能看电影，但是那个气氛实在欣赏不了。节日的时候也会有活动，例如万圣节好像会把地下室连接车库那边做成鬼屋，而且那个时候去会封路不能参观，鬼屋在停车场旁边也有一个小的。经常性的会有人订那个会议厅和室内花园，去过这么多次都没真正的进过会议厅。现在南塔还是北塔(比较低的那个)在整修不能参观。别忘了从地下通道还能过去车库那边。进门口后可以拿普通话的语音解说和地图，全部把所有的东西看完听完大概需要2.5小时到3个小时，节日过去要提早和预留好时间，门口那条队是给买门票的，有city pass就直接冲进去验票处，反正没见过拿着city pass排队的队伍。只推荐去一次。

根本没转头儿，除非你是想来拍照打卡的网红否则别来。这里都没几个艺术品，有也都是没什么深度的，真心不推荐。食物也很难吃且贵

Between 1930 and 1967, the property housed a collection of horse riding schools and light industry. In the 1930s, the Windermere Riding Academy used the property. Don Vale Textiles occupied the property in the late 1940s. From 1950 and 1963, the Whitewood Riding School was housed at the stables. During the building of the Don Valley Parkway, the site was extensively modified. The river which used to pass through the site in a wide meander was straightened so that it was entirely cut off from the site. The former riverbed was turned into a pond and the bridge that used to cross the river is now only used to reach a parking lot. In 1965, the mill site was proposed as a centennial project by East York's mayor, True Davidson. On May 22, 1967, it was opened as the Todmorden Mills Historic Site and started to function as a community museum. Davidson remained as an honorary curator until her death in 1978. Currently the museum maintains four buildings from the original settlement including the old paper mill which dates from 1825, a brewery and two homes. The Don railway station was moved to Todmorden in 1969, and remained at Todmorden until 2009 when it was moved to Roundhouse Park. But the cost of getting into this exhibit was what I paid for both of us to ride the GO train and our tickets to the hockey hall of fame.

It takes a bit to figure out the illusions and a bit longer to make them work as designed which was fun for all of us. The adults and littles from 5 to 8 enjoyed themselves. Looking at the exhibits brings out so many emotions, from being proud to being sad. They have a billboard that has the tally of the traffic deaths of pedestrians and motorists to date and I really feel they should have this posted in the city (I believe they used to), because it's a real eye opener. There is a holding cell, the old turn style light that they had before the stop lights, and a very nice tribute to some of the fallen. There's so much to check out, that you'll probably spend a good hour in here. My only suggestion, is that I wished they would have given some sort of context in regards to the 6 mannequins wearing the police uniforms. I’ve passed this house before but have never had a chance to stop and look around the grounds or go inside. The grounds are great, especially being at University and Queen! I was on my own, and nobody else was there for a tour while I was there. I was greeted by Diane who took my admission fee and immediately started to tell me about the house. Diane is an absolute gem! Extremely knowledgeable (and captivating!) about the house, the Campbell Family, the businesses that occupied the house in the years following the deaths of Sir/Lady Campbell, the background of William and Hannah, their children and descendants, how the house was saved, how it was furnished—even educated me on the pieces furnishing the house! My only disappointment is that I had to get back to my shift and couldn’t spent the entire afternoon with Diane at the house. The experience was one I won’t forget, and I’ve been telling everyone I talk to about it all evening. I’ll likely be researching more of the family/house’s history for months, I feel like I learned so much yet there is still so much to discover. If you love history and/or old homes (this one is 200+ years old!) you’ll love this place. And while I’m sure everyone there is knowledgeable, I hope you meet Diane and soak up everything she has to say! I’d love to return on a day when I don’t have time restrictions. It is flat and easy to cycle. There were numerous interesting places to stop along the way. We cycled first to Sugar Beach, then to the Music Garden, Little Norway Park, Coronation Park, Inukshuk Park, u-turning near the Budweiser Stage at Ontario Place.
