There are tuk-tuks waiting right outside to bring you to anything further away and the staff will help you book one to anywhere you want to go at a reasonable price. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've ever experienced. The fresh fruit was perfect. The selection of Western and Asian specialties was updated every day. They offered custom coffee orders, and the staff even memorized them after a couple days. The pool was a stand out. Very relaxing, beautifully maintained. You'd never imagine the busy streets are mere feet away. All in all, this is a great home base for your visit to Phnom Penh. I still loved it just as much. its a gorgeous little oasis in the middle of Phnom Phen. Absolutely great location and the pool is so lovely to come back to and the staff are fantastic. But I was travelling on my own and felt really comfortable there. I would stay again for sure.

Love the swimming pool and the top roof bar with 360 degree view, food were actually really yummy, no matter from the menu or breakfast. Best location, short walk to Royal palace, walk street (Saturday & Sunday) and night market. The staff were so accommodating and even though the latest we could check out was 1 pm, our flight was at midnight and they let us stay to use the pool, order food to the pool, use the spa and even shower. They were so generous and we spent 3 hours at the spa with a foot massage, facial, and an hour with the sauna and steam room. It was relaxing and the staff were wonderful. The room itself was luxurious with a super comfortable bed, nice view of the city and riverfront and hot shower with good water pressure. From the minute we arrived we felt so welcome - among the friendliest, kindest and most helpful staff I have ever experienced in a hotel! The room was beautiful with lots of thoughtful little touches. Breakfast excellent and a huge choice. If you get chance to join their walking tour, it is highly recommended - a chance to see some different sides to the city and visit the small school which the hotel supports and funds through it's charitable foundation. Our only regret is that we didn't plan a few more days here, but if I came back to Phnom Penh I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Very highly recommended! The bathtub isn't flat, it is difficult to bathe with 2 feet standing slanted. It is difficult to adjust hot and cold water with the ancient taps. It is either scalding hot or cold. The stool next to bath tub is shaky. One has to cross over wide to stand on the stool with your wet feet, which can easily slip and fall. There is a deep drain in the middle of toilet which is a fall hazard too. I am sure they have not thought through thoroughly about the design for the toilet. The washing basin tap also has no hot water although the sign indicated turn tap for hot water for 3 to 5 mins. There are cockroaches and ants in room. Noticed the wide gap between the front door. The tv channels are also blurry. There are discrepancies with the rooms item list. 1 bathrope and 1 peanut are missing. There is no or little communication among the staff. The rooms are big, well cleaned and spartan. They contain all the essentials you need but could be better described as monastic rather than cosy. Breakfast if not expansive was at least freshly prepared, well presented, varied and adaquate. We also had lunch one of the days and the same comment applies all be it tastier and the was a good selection of meals. The verdant courtyard/swimming area is wonderful and contrasts sharply with the neighborhood. There are many restaurants and coffee shops in the vacinity but you don't feel central. The two ladies managing the premises were very pleasent, helpful and attentive. On the downside the beds are rock hard and there was no hot water. The air conditioning is also well past its best. The whole concept might be due a good polish if not a refresh in the near future. That said the stay was overall pleasant enough with the exception of the bed, a third night would have been too much. Starting from the room which for me is huge and comfortable. The facilities are complete and the price is very affordable considering the level of the hotel. The service is just marvelous and top tier. The worker have occasionally saved us from a lot of difficulties. Firstly, they allowed us to check in early around 11 am which is a very huge bless. Secondly they are very friendly and not tired in helping us entertaining our absurd request. Thirdly, they kept our begs safely after we check out to explore Phnom Penh town before our bus to Siem Reap during night. Lastly, they allowed us to get the room for us to shower and prepare ourself. We couldn't thank this hotel especially staff name Bou Hongli and one of the male staffs. Others than that, the hotel is very comfortable, the decorations is very nice too and the location is quite strategic not very far from tourist attractions area. The view from the rooftop is also very awesome. The sad thing is we can't swim in the swimming pool due the maintenance. But it was informed prior our visit. They didn't ask for any documents at Immigration. Took less than 2 minutes to clear. But to be on the safer side, carry the documents uploaded while applying for the Visa. E Arrival is mandatory, to be applied within 7 days before arrival. Carry 2 copies of the E Arrival. 3. There are around 4 ATMs once you come out of the arrival hall but within the airport. ABA Bank charges USD 5 for withdrawal in USD. Hot water did not last longer than 10 mins for all three rooms we dad The security was extremely friendly and accommodating, every time we crossed the street they were there for us directing traffic. Those guys were my favorite part of the whole stay. The only significant problem was the one girl (out of two) working at the front desk was very cold with every interaction. As a farewell gesture she even tried to give us two damaged $100 bills and claimed we gave her those bills in the first place which is nonsense. If you travel in Cambodia a lot you’d know that most places don’t accept damaged bills (I don’t agree with the practice, but is what it is). She just acted like she didn’t want to help us at all, but if that’s the case don’t work there. We haven’t had any issues at any hotel anywhere in the country as we’re pretty friendly people not being needy for anything. Otherwise a decent stay.

Free self-service laundry and free daily mini bar was what we enjoyed. Each room we booked had great water pressure and hot water (don't forget to switch on the water heater button near the light switch!). The security at the ground floor was very helpful and friendly. They helped us cross the busy street to the mall directly in front of the hotel, and hailed tuktuks for us. Now for the staff. What a disappointment. This hotel would've gotten a 5-star rating from me but one staff member really messed it up for everyone. She needs better training in hospitality before putting her out in the front reception like this. The girl that checked us in was fine, but the other one during the day is rude. She barely wants to speak to us when we ask questions, and answers in the most condescending way possible like we are idiots. We really did not want to interrupt her watching TikTok but we needed assistance, so she must've forgotten that she's supposed to be working. This is not how a hotel staff should treat their guests - take note and improve! The last straw was during checkout when she tried to give us our room deposit money back that was damaged. She accused us of giving ripped money while checking in and tried to give us ripped bills at check out. I stood there watching them inspect the bills and giving the okay at check in. So why inspect it so much and end up with damaged bills? They switched our good bills out and try to hand the ripped bills to us thinking we would not notice. So visitors beware of that. I'd recommend inspecting the bills with them at check in & check out. This seems like a common trick they’re doing. Also, take photos of the items in the kitchen when arriving to your room just in case they accuse you of breaking things and charging you for it.
