They replaced the restraints on wonder woman which were an improvement. The new restraints dont dig into your shoulders or cause discomfort. The theming of the coasters has been improving recently and the park was really clean especially considering it was a weekend. Would recommend getting there early if you want to get rides on a specific coaster. The haunted attractions were also well done. I would recommend going with a day pass if you don't plan on visiting more than twice a month. They also offer military discounts for active duty and veterans on their day passes. With older kids it can be hard to find a place that each age range has fun and the Witte really fit the bill! We loved the exhibits and learning about Texas history and the tree house area was a big hit for us all! The dinosaur area was well placed to welcome you into the museum. My husband has been wanting to bring our daughter here for sometime. We finally made as she gets ready to start college. Better late than never! It’s a great experience but keep in mind expensive. You have the option of self guided drive through or be driven on one of their recreational vehicles. If you choose option one, you will be charged per person in your vehicle. This is why I give it 4 stars. I don’t understand why charge per person in a vehicle rather than a flat fee per car. And you have to buy the feed too! In all we paid well over $100 for 3 people and a 1/2 bag of pellets. Aside from this negative, again an amazing experience. You drive around and creatures such as antelope, bison, deer, rams, zebras, etc if not too hot will come up to your vehicle for pellets. To major matters to keep in mind: Ostrich can be mean, your car can be damaged and don’t use up all your feed at the start of the drive through. Space it out because you’ll run out before you get half way or towards the end. The giraffe’s were not willing to come out from the shade. Nor the bison and rhinoceros’s. Hey, I wouldn’t want to get out of the shade if I know when my next feeding will be. And you only get to drive by and see the Cheetah’s. But there a reason for that unless you want to be their food! Lastly, check out the walk up wildlife at the end too! Definitely, a great experience for the family. Get there early to beat the crowd that begins to arrive mid morning.

To be honest we didn’t know what to expect but we really did enjoy ourselves. The food/burgers was really good, the staff were friendly and helpful when purchasing our museum tickets. The saloon/restaurant is really cool, covered from top to bottom in taxidermy animals. Lots of cool history on the walls. The place also has two museums, the Buckhorn Museum and the Texas Ranger Museum. The Buckhorn Museum has a bunch of taxidermy animals and other curiosities. The sideshow exhibit was neat...but some parts of it weren't working. The Texas Ranger museum houses a nice collection of artifacts from various famous Texas Rangers, as well as a recreation of old San Antonio. There's a lot to see here and you can certainly spend a good deal of time here between the various exhibits and the food/drink. Our wait was 20 minutes and were notified via text both soon before our table was ready in case we left the premises to explore (we went to the plaza to check out the live music and people dancing) and right when it was ready. We were swiftly brought to our seats. Chips and salsa were served immediately. The chips were warm, thin and crispy and the salsa had a wonderful kick. Our server gave us no pressure to place our drink, appetizer and meal orders quickly but did check on us frequently in case we needed her. The queso flameado was a cheese pull dish topped with chorizo and served with a side of fresh homemade flour tortillas. My son ordered the kids’ enchiladas, I ordered the Tacos del Mercado, and my husband got the Poblano Dinner. Portions were decent and with the chips and salsa and appetizer, we ended up taking half our meals home for the next day.
