We arrived at 11:00am. They stopped taking admissions at 12:00 for hallZOOeen. So we had to be out by 1:00pm. We did go through some of the exhibits rather quickly to ensure that we would get to see it all before we had to go. But honestly, we were ready to leave around that time anyways, so it worked out perfectly. From what I could see most of the animals were very well cared for. Some of the inside enclosures looked like they needed some care..... There was a tiger pacing a foot bridge above us and that was a little alarming & I was sad for the bear. It just seemed a little sad but maybe it was just nap time after it had its lunch. My favorite was the monkeys (inside) but it was hard to find space to squeeze in and see them. There were lots of families posted up there, staying for awhile. So we weren't able to get pics with monkeys but that's ok! We got to see them feed the big turtles! My son absolutely loved the giraffes! We all did! And there was plenty of space to hang out and watch them awhile, even though there were lots of families. It was a good day & the weather was perfect. We will definitely come back and spend some more time. Or maybe even come to hallZOOeen! They had it decorated really cute for Halloween so I can only imagine it was much better to experience at night and with all the kids in their costumes!

I have all of the pictures and videos of the trip and even a picture of Tulsa. Tulsa has been a wonderful experience both in and out, and now that I’ve left Tulsa it just makes me sad. Lots of different trails to take. You can see a pond, different plants and animals, fields - nice variety. We had a surprise tour! If you enjoy the outdoors and walking/hiking trails this is your place to be when in Tulsa. It’s located within Mohawk Park nearby to the Zoo and Lake Yahola. Near the ramp which leads to the visitor center you can get a trail map, grab one of these because you might need it, there is so many trails. All the trails are well traveled and easy to stay on, at the beginning of a trail there was wooden signs telling the name of that particular one. We did the Bird Creek trail, coal creek trail and a few others while here. Everywhere was so beautiful. I recommend the bird creek trail because there is great views of the creek and a cool wooden bridge to walk across. There is also several small ponds here that some of the other trails pass by. There is a trail here for everybody. We saw so many butterflies while walking around but also many mosquitoes too. Most of the trails were wide enough you could avoid the grass but some were narrow and we brushed up against the grass. I only found one small tick on me after hiking but if you touch any grass or go off trail for some reason then be sure to check yourself for them. I recommend coming in the early morning to avoid the heat of the day and so you have lots of time to explore the visitor center if you want. We came in the late afternoon so the visitor center was closing soon unfortunately and we only got to spend maybe 20 minutes in there after we were done hiking. The visitor center is a must see in my opinion because the lady we met in there was a wealth of knowledge and kindness too. There is also many animal pelts on display and information about all kinds of animals and insects that are native to Oklahoma. There is public bathrooms available in the visitor center as well as water fountains. Overall, if you like the outdoors this place will not disappoint you. It truly is an urban oasis. My only complaint is you will hear aircraft from the nearby airport at times but I enjoy aircraft so that didn’t bother me. Just keep that in mind, it’s located next to a large city so you can’t completely escape those sounds. Have fun and don’t forget to grab one of those trail maps!

Paradise Beach is not very exciting, it should be a children's park. The wave pool is the only decent attraction aside from the tube slide which you get to use their inter tube. The big slides don't have enough water pressure to allow myself or my niece to slide very effectively. I was stopped by lack of water flow multiple occasions, and had to push myself along the slide in order to prevent getting smacked in the back of the head or body.. At one point with the inner tube slide I was nearly smashed, they let someone go behind me too quickly and the water flow wasn't great there as well, and I got stuck a few times. Overall, this place is overpriced, the staff is not friendly, and they all look very upset. The food and refreshments are severely overpriced, and the locker or tube rentals are incredibly overpriced! They also aren't very knowledgeable on their inner tubes, which practically are only good for the wave pool.. but you can bring your own so do not waste money renting there! They do have a air pump for you to use if you do. The lifeguard ratio seemed very professional, I will give you five stars on that note!

Lastly, a staff member came over and told us we couldn’t have our drinks in the water,( we had them above water entire time) even though we’ve done the same thing on multiple visits this year without issue. Also there were plenty others that had drinks in water and nothing was ever said to them. The way it was said was rude, and it just felt like we were being singled out for no reason. This visit was disappointing across the board — poor service, bad food, and a serious lack of consistency in rules and how guests are treated. Not sure I’ll be back after this.

This was incredibly frustrating. For us as the parents spending the money, and to the kids who were looking forward to playing certain games. There were dirty dishes and pieces of trash on several of the games, the seats inside of them, and on the various tables around the gaming area. No workers to be seen for the most part. After finally blowing through our card on what games still worked (and I do feel like the price per swipe has gone up a bit, so that card goes faster) we cashed in points in the prize shop because that's what the kids like to do. We then moved on to go-karts to finish our visit. There were line hoppers, people in and out of the line, and workers kind of standing around as we were getting there and doing our waivers to get in line. Then, as we waited, there was some sort of crash/jam that locked two of the go-karts on the track's on ramp. While this wasn't the workers' fault, I wouldn't say there was a ton of urgency around getting it figured out. After about 7-10 minutes we just decided to leave. Coming in, there were nice big open doors so we just walked up and security/check-in guys were fast and real simple. Didn’t get frisked. Just showed ticket and ID for drinks. Nice eating and bar area, easily accessible bathrooms with A MILLION stalls so I never had to wait, and it was clean and nice and fully lit in there with touchless sinks and paper towels!!! Stage looked nice and big. Music sounded great. The bass drops were DEEP and made the hairs on your arms vibrate like you were getting the chills!! Merch area was easily lol accessible and leaving was super easy. Didn’t have to push or have people up on me or close to me. We thought the turnout was pretty darn big. More than I expected, yet walking around and getting where we need to go was always easy. Parking was FREE across the street ish, however the ground you drive on is hella lumpy like you could get stuck or mess up your car a bit not driving on it in a smart way to avoid dips. That’s the one downside but we ended up having no issues. Location is RIGHT off the highway so it’s simple to get to and the location is easily accessible. However it’s a downtown area so there aren’t your typical restaurants, fast food, or gas stations around. So that’s not fun. Gotta drive to those and find them because they’re out of sight. Pyrotechnics were cool. Probably from the bands set up but there was plenty of space for it and it worked. State lights seemed good although we couldn’t see the singer much. Didn’t seem to be a spotlight on here like I expected. Couldn’t see too much of the band either because the stage was fairly dark. But maybe this is normal. I don’t go to concerts much.
