Am so disappointed. Went into Sports Direct on a Friday morning to exchange my son’s runners for a bigger size, incurring fuel and parking costs. However as I’d ordered them from Sports Direct online, the shop refused to exchange them. The staff were very apologetic stating it’s Sports Direct policy that you’ve to post back your items to their warehouse which seems to be at your own expense. What a joke. All other stores like Next, Lifestyle, etc., deal with orders and exchanges instore. It would actually bring in footfall to an otherwise empty shop. To add icing to the cake, when I was inputting the order number into their webpage to print the return docket to do said posting back of item, it said it didn’t recognise the code…this code is on the front of the package and in their own docket in the bag. This seems to be a breach of consumer rights.

Second time I have visited this place and found them to start closing in sports direct at 15 to closing, I actually had security shout up the escalator at me telling me that their closing which I found rude and made me as a customer feel like I had been doing something wrong. I understand that they need to prepare and remind people that closing time would be shortly but not like this, and I wasn't taking my time, I knew what I wanted and was heading in the direction of it. I have worked in the same position both in security and retail and I gave the benefit on the first occasion but not when it happened again. Fantastic Family Day at Loughwell Farm Park!
We visited Loughwell Farm Park in Moycullen yesterday for the pumpkin patch event and had an absolutely wonderful time! It’s the perfect place for families, especially with young children. Our little daughter had a blast exploring the farm and picking her own pumpkin. The variety of activities available kept her entertained the entire time – from the farm animals to the playgrounds and tractor rides, there was so much to do!
The staff were incredibly friendly, and the whole atmosphere was warm and welcoming. It’s clear that the park is well-maintained, and safety measures are in place, which gave us peace of mind. There was plenty of space to move around and enjoy the outdoors.
We highly recommend Loughwell Farm Park to anyone looking for a fun and wholesome family day out. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a lovely day out a couple of weeks ago for the pumpkin patch.
Indoor barn area was brilliant, staff where on hand at all times to ensure the kids safety.
The outdoor facilities where brilliant even with a bit of water on the mini golf⛳️

I dont usually feel the need to leave a review, especially for a grocery store but i feel it's important to give credit where it's due! The gentleman assisting customers on the self checkouts yesterday evening is an absolute credit to Dunnes! I wish i got his name so i could give him a mention, it was around 5:30pm on Wednesday 16th of April. As i was queuing up, I watched him assist an elderly lady who was struggling with the machine, he talked her through it patiently and taught her how to use the machine rather than rushing her through and doing it for her! He then helped me with a question i had about a voucher, he took his time to explain the particulars and went on to assist another customer attentively. Definitely a member of staff worth keeping!

The product I wanted was available but €20 more expensive than online. Once I checked the product was the right fit, I bought it online. €20 saved.

Spent some time looking around for particular sizes, the 2 young girls working seemed to be carrying the workload whilst 3 lads one who was the store manager were having a great laugh and joke whilst the queue got bigger as the girl on the till was doing an online order for a lady, after a while this lady asked the lads could one of them help on the tills as the girl behind the till was under growing pressure, the lads attitude including the manager was anything but professional. As an employer myself this was very poor quality from retail staff and only for the 2 girls might as well ran a self service kiosk. Disappointed to say the least.

Monkey Business is fabulous. We have been there many times - either just ourselves with our own kids, or often for parties. Our middle guy just had a joint birthday this past weekend with a friend in his class and the kids as always had a fantastic time. I also love how they give bibs so you can easily spot the kids from your party! This will be the last time I visit Monkey Business. I came with two young children, aged four and one. I was surprised to learn that I had to pay for my one-year-old, who is far too young to use most of the facilities beyond the ball pit area and the small soccer area.
What made the experience worse was the attitude of the receptionist. When I questioned the policy, she compared it to paying for a child at the cinema, which is not accurate or appropriate. A one-year-old does not require a ticket at the cinema, nor have I encountered any other play centre that charges for a child so young.
Even after I paid for my one-year-old, the receptionist’s attitude made me feel extremely unwelcome. They had an hour and a half in which they could have approached me to politely explain the policy, but instead, all I received were dirty looks. The issue is not the fee itself but the dismissive and unprofessional manner in which the situation was handled. Staff should be trained to show courtesy and hospitality, especially when dealing with families.

We recently had our son’s 4th birthday party here and had a fantastic time. The children were busy playing the entire time and enjoyed every minute of it. The length of time is perfect for the age group.
The staff were so accommodating and couldn’t have been more helpful on the day. We had a number of allergies and were given a different option for party food. The escalator going down from the second floor is broken, and there's no information about it on the first floor. So, people go up to the second floor and have to stand in the same line to go down because there's only one elevator working for the entire store. If they'd put a sign on the first floor saying the escalator is out of order, I wouldn't have gone up. I recently visited Tuam Shopping Centre in Galway and was impressed with the variety of shops and services available. From fashion and homewares to groceries and electronics, there was something for everyone. The center was clean, well-maintained, and had a nice atmosphere. Galway is the worst town for traffic in Ireland...it's impossible to drive across such a small town in less than one hour. The city council does absolutely nothing with the traffic and it's getting worse with every year. They only talk much about for the last 15 years nothing else... what has chanced is the increasing traffic and guys on haigh chairs and high wages for not doing anything. Each solution for is not acceptable by them or they try to find a hundreds problems. Every other town EXCEPT Galway tries to reduce traffic by moving out of the city to the outskirts the bigger businesses and supermarkets but ofcourse Galway accepts every big project and business in the middle of the city so they can get more tax for it and they don't care about the traffic.
