Truly incredible experience at the Pumpkin Spectacular! We booked tickets for 8 pm. Arrived with a fast moving line, which had no wait. Check in was a breeze and for a Saturday night it was packed but didn’t feel like so as the trails are wide enough to accommodate a crowd. The pumpkins are amazing to look at, especially the artist carved ones. One of the coolest and most do October bucket list items in New England! We parked above the zoo which was a 10 minute walk to the entrance as it was free. The lines to park were long and do create a wait. Parking is free or you can pay $15 for premium parking which the lot was quite empty for. Bathrooms are available and food trucks of fried dough, adult beverages, snacks etc. Definitely an awesome date night or a fun night out with the family

There was a small parking lot on the side of the building and it was about 2/3 full. There was also street parking. It was also a overcast and drizzly kind of afternoon. The area with the planetarium is still a work in progress it looks like with many empty display cases. My favorite was the space area. There was also a Polynesian looking room we were calling the "Moana room". The changing planet room with the huge taxidermy polar bears was interesting. We did not pay extra for the planetarium show and at about 1 hr, the kids were done and ready to leave. Overall I'd probably not visit here again unless we were trying to kill some time or maybe watch the planetarium show. Definitely worth the first visit.

Loved the open clean space. The staff were friendly, approachable & helpful. This is a very pleasant discovery. Been to a few public libraries and this one above par. Lots of seating upstairs and downstairs. There are also several terminals if you dont have your own computer to use. The tables and bar areas have power plugs so you can literally hop onto any one and be ready for work. Wifi is pretty steady & strong, too. As a Black woman I try to support Black-owned businesses, especially bookstores. And I was looking forward to shopping there, in fact, I came the day before and it was closed so I made a second trip today. It's actually the kind of bookstore I like: kind of jumbled stacks of books and paraphernalia. But I will not go back. Mr. Rickman's behavior was so bizzare that I wondered if there was something wrong with him. And maybe that's the answer. Because no one who wants to make a success of a business acts in the manner he did. Very sad. I'll be looking for Octavia Butler and Langston Hughes books elsewhere.

Hands down the coolest museum I have ever been too. You get to participate and be creative involving the exhibits themselves - every exhibit is meant to stimulate your mind and the best thing is that it teaches you something, yet it is so much fun so you really take something out for it. Whether you’re a child or an adult, you will certainly enjoy your time and get a great experience out of it! The Admition isn’t much which makes it very accessible for nearly anybody to visit - but it also means that the place itself thrives mainly on school trips to the facility, fundraisers and donations - which you can make via PayPal or their website and it’s certainly worth supporting it so it can grow and be there for the community. I do need to mention that the facility is very clean and is bright and ope! Most importantly I need to mention the wonderful staff, including a very personable and fun Glen that educated us about the exhibits and how to use them so we can get the best out of our experience - I haven’t been this creative and had that much fun in a really, really long time. My boyfriend was geeking out and he loved it! ☺️🤪 Highly recommend this place!!! Such shame that not so it of people know if it’s existence!
