We ordered 2 of the tomahawk specials, one came out looking well seared with the right amount of char. One came out with no signs of being cooked properly. Whether for a personal hang out or business meeting, the Second Story is a favorite of mine in Old Town Scottsdale. I surprised myself by realizing I hadn’t given some details here yet. For food, I’ve tried a fair amount but most recently I had the Caesar Salad, Korean Pork Belly, Crispy Sushi Rice, and the Tomahawk Ribeye! The Pork Belly and Tomahawk were great and highly recommend! The Pork Belly comes as a little sandwich which was delicious. The Tomahawk was about 32oz and I’m not entirely sure what the sauce was but I loved it! The Caesar was good but nothing special here. While I can’t place exactly why, the Crispy Sushi Rice didn’t do much for me. It was good, nothing bad, but just nothing stood out as amazing. Overall, hard to go wrong here. We went and took a walk and came back. We literally were the first ones in the door and they didn't have a bartender yet but the hostess seated us and our waitress Brielle came right away. She helped us make decisions, told us what was on the happy hour menu and recommended drinks too. She told us it might be a minute on the drinks but kept us posted about everything that was going on. She even went to try and get the bartender for us which it wasn't a long wait, maybe 10 minutes. She brought our drink which was the JIMBO. It was strawberry with a little spritzer, very flavorful and they didn't skimp on alcohol. We ordered the southern fries which were half price for half the size which was perfect for 2 people. The fries were amaaaazing!! You could get them with ranch or bleu cheese but we got ranch! Great combo with the BBQ sauce and ranch! I ordered the Mac and cheese with blackened chicken. Before I ordered, I asked if it was good and she said yes but I asked if she was just saying that and she said no they use lots of different cheeses, definitely not Kraft and it wasn't!! I really enjoyed it. My husband ordered the burger with garlic sweet potato fries which were out of this world!!! Brielle was really good about checking on us, refilling our waters without us asking, and checking to see if we needed anything. Great place to watch the game with a huge screen and of course country music! I didn't experience the club or party aspect but would definitely go back for happy hour and the bar scene!

It was very disappointing to see how the situation was handled. They clearly do not care about their customers. I wish I listened to reviews and recommendations of locals not to go to this club. I know it’s a Fresca pizza but the only thing cooked on it was the mozz and sauce when I thought the burrata and heirloom tomatoes would of been cooked too. $25 for a 12in pie is also a lot even for being a specialty pie., if I’m going to spend that I will walk 2 doors down to Virtu and have a superior experience, food, and ambiance.

I don’t like to post negative reviews, but I had to write one about my experience since I saw other reviews about the same thing and the owners obviously haven’t made the necessary staff changes. 2 friends and I visited this past weekend and spent about $400. Had a great time inside, with pleasant bartenders and music. That was where the good ends and the terrible starts… I lost my phone inside near closing time and didn’t notice until I stepped out. I immediately turned around, showed the location of it on a friends phone to security and asked them if I could go back in to look (15 minutes till close). A bouncer pushed me away with a hand to the chest (unprovoked) and said no one is allowed in. I pleaded with them and the 4 of them standing outside doing nothing laughed at me and said “too bad man”. I asked another and he said “I don’t care” . Meanwhile they stood outside catcalling girls on the sidewalk. No one offered to go check, any help at all, and barely looked at me. I was eventually able to ring it and a waitress brought it outside to me. Bless her. The bouncers seemed upset I got my phone back to be honest. I understand them not letting me back in , but as employees their job should be to take care of patrons. They were extremely demeaning and not doing anything useful at the same time. Hopefully something changes before this cool bar continues to earn a bad reputation and ruins more peoples nights. Worst experience with security at any place ever!! Would not recommend this club and suggest you go somewhere else.

They had the whole freaking place opened with it's sister sights and it was a sight to see. I've never had a complaint with the staff and they held up wonderfully. I'm not sure I can think of a complaint about the staff aside from getting things coordinated with Clarence on something we discussed. It took a bit of time but it HAPPENED! It's not bad for Scottsdale prices. They're a bit more reasonable than some of the other places in Old Town. I got my paws on some some of their wings. Frankly I wasn't in love with them. Of course we all have different tastes. The cheese curds also overwhelmed me a bit too. I'm giving them credit for heart and an attempt to keep a fan a fan. I soooo appreciate it. Staff 5 *. We went for the mimosa crawl around 2:30pm (the crawl was from 12-5pm) and were told they weren't doing it anymore. We decided to get a few drinks anyway since we were already there, and someone grabbed my bag right from the seat I was sitting in! When I brought this to the staffs attention, they just brushed it off and said 3 others girls have already complained about the same issue. If you know there is someone going around stealing bags at your location, wouldn't you step up the security a bit? All the security guards do is sit at the entrance together or sit at the bar talking to the girls. My entire life was in that bag, and I know they can't magically find it for me, but the least they could have done was show some compassion and at least pretend to care and help.

Do not recommend coming here at all. Ladies and people of color be careful. A bouncer/security guard manhandled me, inappropriately grabbed me, and said some very disrespectful things to me. I tried to report the incident but was told it was private property and they could kick out whoever they want in whatever way they want by Scottsdale PD. When we got there, there was no hostess the bartender finally told us to sit anywhere inside (without reserved seating) which left 3 choices, or go around the back to "patio", we said we wanted the rooftop, he said yes around the bar to the back. Another waitress came over and asked if we wanted outside seating which was awesome on her part, so we went outside to enjoy the app and wine. Appetizer was good. High quality but rich& too fatty meats for our taste but very good tasting & quality! Wine was DELISH!!!! Servers were super friendly but it took quite some time for us to get our check. Overall just an okay experience. Music was decent. Needs more seating, for sure!!!

The drinks are perfectly mixed and more consistent than any other fine establishment I've been to in a while.
