Upon arrival, there are lines or a wait for the most part, and you can add yourself to their waiting list. The interior is basically like the garage of a house, which makes it pretty unique. Went with a group of 4 on a Monday night around 6:30pm. Place wasn’t busy until 7 or so, so we were seated right away. It has the cute cozy feel of a “hole in the wall” restaurant. Nothing to write home about but we were hungry, it came out fast and was decent enough. Sister House in Hayward makes a good example, nice and lightly crispy on the outside, good kimchee taste. Service was friendly. The place is tidy, they clean up your area and might even vacuum before they seat you. They are open late which is great for people who work late or had a night out, and are hungry again. You definitely have a wooden wall in between parties so that’s no issue. Servers and quality of meat is decent. My biggest “beef” is that the service itself is disappointing. This definitely was our most forgettable Korean dining experience ever, in San Francisco or anywhere else. I wish we had saved our money or gone elsewhere! No complaints about the service though and may be a good place to watch a game with their giant projections. I'm not sure what went wrong with our orders: it was either their off day, or we didn't order the right things(!) or the great reviews make sense only if you are here for the cheap lunch combos.
