You do need a Discovery Pass stop park but they're is a kiosk by the ranger station at the entrance to the camping ground and parking for hiking where you can purchase one so no worries there. There is water at the entrance to the trail from the parking lot so you can fill up. They're was no water in the trail I found. The majority of the trails are full or partial sun so I can get hot but there are places just off the trail to get in the shade. Not a lot of water access once you get started but there are places where you can see the river and get close. The suspension bridge is very fun to walk on, bouncy even. Jogging or off road strollers would probably do ok once you get up above the stairs at the beginning of the trails after the bridge. The main trail is wide and relatively smooth. Small wheeled strollers would likely get stuck in all the rocks and be hard to push so save yourself the frustration. Only saw one bench along the way this time but lots of big rocks or clear ground to rest on. Later in the summer all the berry bushes will be full of fruit and would make for a juicy hike. We saw trail runners, bikers, hikers, and families like us in the trails. Will definitely be coming back. And there is a nice camp ground, I think I saw $10/night and campers there too not sure what their price was or if there were hook ups.

The trails offer a plethora of outdoor activity access including; mountain biking, hiking, running, walking and nature viewing. Dogs are allowed on leash. This place is incredible. I’ve never played the disc golf course; I’ve only ridden the mtb trails, but I hear that is excellent too. We drive 40 minutes to ride here when there’s trails much closer to us because it’s that good. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the security of the parking lot - cars get broken in to every once in a while. I definitely wouldn’t recommend leaving anything of value in your car when you ride.
