I have been here twice so far and both times I truly enjoyed walking around. During the initial planning stages, Veronica and Richard were my main points of contact, both of whom were very helpful answering questions. Amanda emailed me photos of the renovations, offered alternate solutions to ensure the scaffolding wouldn’t be as visible, emailed the contractor to ensure they would be done with the renovations for the day prior to our scheduled photo time and ceremony start time, and offered to be at the venue early to ensure that everything was clean. When I realized it was likely going to rain on the wedding day, I emailed Amanda asking for a quick discussion on a rain plan. She contacted me right away to confirm a time and we spoke the morning of the wedding to come up with a rain plan. She handled the new set up with both the chair rental company and the florist. She didn't do anything about it, even though she said she would. The workers in the sweets store didn't do anything about it either, they just sat on counters and talked and ignored our pleas. I started to clean the area myself but my daughters stopped me. The owners of this property should really evaluate its managers and workers. They are making a really nice place, trifling and nasty. The park is very well kept, everything is in walking distance from each other and it was non stop fun. I wish they had a few more umbrellas out for families as the sun is a bit brutal out there. Food on site was good. Tasty fries and funnel cake was great as well. Dippin dots was a nice treat too. We will DEFINITELY be back! We got there at 1045. It is definitely better to get there early. Easypeasy parking and short line.

I unfortunately forgot the name of our guide, but she did a fantastic job. She was engaging, knowledgeable, and made the stories come to life. The tour was on the shorter side and I would have loved for it to be a bit longer, but the price felt fair for what was included. We walked through the charming streets of Old Town Alexandria, hearing not only creepy and spooky tales but also learning some of the rich history of the area. We went for the “Ghost and graveyard” tour (Northern route) with Kevin and I would say it was a great experience. The storytelling was phenomenal, the stories told were so thrilling causing shivers down my spine, and very hilarious moments to break the tension were absolutely brilliant and funny!
