First off, this is more of a Chinese restaurant rather than a Vietnamese restaurant as the dishes are more Chinese dishes Our experience here was not the best and our orders got mixed up four times; how they got our orders wrong four times I'm not too sure. My friend ordered stir fried duck and mushrooms and I ordered flat rice noodles with beef. The first dish came out and was served to my friend. It was a beef dish but because it had no noodles, my friend and I both thought it was hers. She proceeded to eat when one of the waitresses tells me it's my dish. I let the waitress know that my dish was a noodle dish and there aren't any noodles; she tells me they're underneath which I could immediately tell from looking, there were no noodles. I tell the other waitress it's not the dish I ordered so she takes it to the back. Another dish comes out and is served to my friend, which is a duck dish but not stir fried duck. I then get served a dish and am told it's beef but I look at the dish and again there are no noodles and it definitely wasn't beef; my friend said that it was her dish as it was stir fried duck. I end up going to the front and telling one of the waitresses that again this is not my dish and she goes to the kitchen to tell one of the other waitresses. My friend says that's her dish and so they give it to her. I eventually get my dish after four goes. After waiting for so long I was expecting the dish to be good but ended up being disappointed as it was not good. The only good thing about the dish was the beef, which was tender but everything else did not taste good. If you're looking for good Vietnamese food, don't go here as the food isn't good and you might get the wrong order served to you. What was even more disappointing was that I didn't get an apology for getting the order incorrect so many times.

The Premium broth was very salty I thought it was a mistake at first. Its saltiness tasted like bone broth cooked for a long time without adding water. As far as I know there is actually a Phở shop in Ha Noi that serve a signature salty phở so that could be an inspiration here. The meats were okay. I can tell the briskets were high quality from the texture and colour. Tendons & stripes were quite small in size. Beef balls tasted quite good but inside was not very soft. The rare beef slices were too thin in my opinion, which could be great for a hotpot but not in a phở bowl. Its slightly chewy texture was great however. The bread stick was quite dense inside and did not went very well with the broth. I much prefer the more airy & crunchy version for a phở bowl.

We really enjoy their beef and dried noodles though. On my first visited it is awesome experience but this time seems like they didn’t maintenance their place really well. The food was ok with a good vegetarian selection for me. The food came out quickly. They have giant lazy susans on the table, so it makes sharing the food among the table easy. You handed your song selection in via a piece of paper, and they just have a shuffled pile on the desk. A number of us put our names into the karaoke queue at the very start of the night when there was only 50% of the tables sat. My whole table put in their song before myself, yet I was the 1st of our table called. And was called super early in the night. Our birthday girl had put her song in 1st at our table and probably 4th for the night, but her name was 2nd last to be called?? It made no sense, and you could see people at their tables becoming confused and frustrated trying to do the maths of how some people were being called up multiple times and others did not get to even sing. (Yes, that's right, they ran out of time, and many people didn't even get called) The atmosphere was amazing, the room sings and dances along with you no matter how good or bad you are, which was awesome! But the karaoke needs to be better managed!! Also the parking situation is confusing and congested! So arrive early and make sure the restaurant validates your ticket, so you pay $20 instead of over $100!!! I'm not kidding. 2 hours of parking is $40 without validation, and the prices increase drastically from there! 😅

This place is a very well renowned restaurant for authentic Asian cuisine in south Brisbane. The restaurant is closely located to south bank and well placed to the mater hospital! Found this place on recommendation of various reels on Insta. On entry shortly after opening we were greeted and seated. The menu options sounded great, and I always appreciate little bits of information regarding their food - in particular their pho. It's just the coffee overwhelmed the senses and it took around half a bowl eaten before I felt like I could begin to notice the subtle complexities of this style of Pho.
