It’s a great venue with an incredible atmosphere. They’ve done great with dividing the bar and the seating area with the open floor to dance, mosh/circle pit and sing along to the songs. Their technical system (lights & sound etc…) adapts really well for different genres such as, rave music and rock. Our experience at BarSo was utterly disgusting, and I urge anyone, especially people of colour, to avoid this place at all costs. The problems started before we even got in. The security staff are on a massive power trip, acting aggressive and intimidating from the outset. We were a diverse group of friends, smartly dressed, out to celebrate a birthday. While waiting, we witnessed the bouncers enforce their "dress code" with what can only be described as a blatant double standard. They turned away several groups of Black and Asian men for wearing "the wrong trainers" or "not fitting the vibe," only to let in groups of white lads wearing the exact same or even scruffier shoes moments later. The prejudice was so obvious it was sickening. It left a sour taste in our mouths before we'd even stepped inside. After that hostile welcome, they had the nerve to charge an extortionate £15 entry fee per person. To pay that much money just to enter a place that clearly has a problem with diversity is an insult. Hoping things might improve, we went inside. Unsurprisingly, they didn't. The drinks are a complete scam. I paid nearly £16 for a cocktail that was 90% ice and tasted like watered-down juice. I left the bathroom and got taken to this room where they said they needed to speak to me i realised i lost my phone and ask the 2 male security that were with me if we could CALMLY go and look for my phone together otherwise i would attempt to leave because im not leaving without my phone. They said no, so i tried to reopen the door and they grabbed me by my arms and pulled me back aggressively. Having never been to Bournemouth before it made a nice weekend break, and we really enjoyed the small and friendly vibe of the club. Everyone loved the music and danced the whole time, and as the room is a compact size you can even meet the DJs for a quick photo before/after. The lighting was great with lasers, and even a thermal imaging camera to give interesting videos on the wall of the dance floor. The sound was also excellent, really clear crisp sound, and didnt leave with my ears ringing at the end. The manager was very kind and stored our coats for us, and even showed us around the club with the other rooms which were available for private hire. Had a wonderful time and would happily go back.

Solomon has been really helpful as we were not sure of our programme so we could confirm time on the day. What made the whole situation even worse was the behaviour of the manager, Claire. The first time we spoke to her she claimed she had been “caught up in the kitchen,” but she was actually sat at the table right next to us eating with her friends. Whilst she was sat there, one of the cooks even came over to her table, rolled her eyes, and complained about “someone ordering a bunch of sharers via the app” which turned out to be our order. Truly embarrassing and unprofessional. After she finished her dinner, she went into the kitchen and barely came out of it. Whilst trying to find someone and get an update on the order, I could clearly hear everyone in the kitchen laughing and joking whilst the cocktails were still not even started. In the rare moments someone was actually on the floor, we managed to approach Claire about the cocktails and mentioned it had been over 40 minutes. Bare in mind, the place was empty, only another table of and the manager’s friends. The manager dismissed us, claiming we were lying and that it had only been 20 minutes. We then showed her the order confirmation email, which clearly proved it had been exactly 46 minutes since we placed the first order. When our food finally arrived, almost an hour after, the cocktails were still missing and the order itself was wrong and stone cold. Instead of being told certain items weren’t available, they simply swapped them out without saying a word. Claire shouldn’t be working as a manager in any establishment. She treated the place like it was her own personal hangout with absolutely no regard for customers. Except for a single girl who seemed to actually care, no one else was doing any work. The rest of the staff were literally just sat in the kitchen ignoring orders and customers. We asked for a refund for our entire order and left. This was more than an hour after our first order and joke you not, the cocktails were still not fully done. With Claire working there as a shift manager, we will not be returning and strongly advise others to avoid this location particularly due to the shift manager Claire and her work ethic.

The place looks nice but the staff were not organised at all. There was live music, a pianist, when we arrived at 8pm, which was lovely. Overall a very enjoyable experience would consider going again but for £22 a head plus a service charge they snuck on the bill It is very expensive for what you get and the view isn't that great.

Eden is a very unique and relaxing bar. In summer the roof opens, giving it the atmosphere of an outdoor bar, but in bad weather it becomes enclosed. Each booth has a heater, so no need to worry if there is a chill either. The staff were friendly and there is a decent if not extensive range of cocktails. On a night out with my daughter to explore Bournemouth we stumbled across the four horseman and seeing as it was the name of some serious hardcore producers from the 90s, and the sign said "90s & 2000s" it was rude not to check it out. And my, I was in for a treat. While upstsirs was the usual super fast and soulless jump up, downstairs in the tiny basement club they were playing some of the finest hardcore and jungle I've heard of in a long time - and I go out in London regularly. This was actually a send off for the death of someone who was an old school teacher - RIP Dennis - and we were very lucky to be part of that. DJ John and the other djs played tunes I hadn't heard of for a good while, and they just kept on rolling. What was supposed to be one stock turned into to staying the 3 hours until it closed at 2. Lovely people, good value drinks, great atmosphere and PHENOMENAL music. I hope they do more events with that music, as they will be very popular in my circle indeed. In fact, we have done djs in the group with a serious selecttion if hardcore and jungle who could assist....

Good lecturers, loving facilities, resources etc. The campuses are huge, modern buldings and facilities. I didnt live in one of their campuses but from what I saw from visiting my colleagues, the accomodation they offer is lovely. Of course is not cheap, but all is worth it for the experience. The university also has restaurants, cafes etc with affordable prices. A gym as well for those who are interested. What I loved the most from this experience was the library they have and all the resources they offer to their students to make their life easier. Second thing I liked the most was the teamwork which they emphasize, practical activities, the group projects they give you just to help you understand the theoretical ideas you learn and how to apply them in real life. They also have lots of programs and volunteering you can apply for. During my studies there I had the chance to be accepted for an International Student Ambassador job. You can imagine how happy I was having a job and working for the university , enjoying what I do and also be paid for doing it. As part of the job, I was writing blogs, taking photos for their social media channels, participating in photoshoots for their social media pages, brochures and websites, holding campus tours for their Open Days at the uni etc. It was an amazing experience which helped me grow and definitely I would repet it if I would have the chance again. Pros: ranked on 29th worldwide out of 1591 univerisities measured. Cons: not affordable for everybody, high taxes for their programms but you can always apply for a Student Finance from the Gouvernment.

I was really disappointed and it seems to have gone downhill since my last visit. Booked the bottomless Brunch for £39 each, there was 6 of us. Upon arrival around 14.00 we were told we were late even though the event stated it was 13 - 16 online and on our tickets, and said we had an hour left for drinks having paid for a ticket that stated drinks included for 2 hours. We were shown to a dingy basement room that was too hot and given 3 small pizzas for 6 of us that were ordered in from another venue. The staff commented "these are cold as you're late but you can have them anyway". The entertainment was all upstairs so we just had loud music blaring and a quiz going on with no context or opportunity to join in. After complaining multiple times for almost an hour, we had our time extended for the full 2 hours to drink which honestly should've been the case from the start. It ruined the enjoyment and we struggled to pick the mood back up as we had an hour to try and make the most of the situation. It should be advertised on the website or in the T&C's that they serve drinks only between certain times and that the food is not from the building and in limited quantities. Not sure I'll be going back based on this experience. My only positive comment Is that the cocktails were nice.

I love a micro brewery and it was good fun. I didn't have any food but had a couple of the stouts. I recommend the stroller stout, it had notes of chocolate and was delicious.
