I’ve been here twice now and it’s a must go if you’re in Charleston. My recent visit was as good as the first. Our party of four had reservations for 715p on a Friday night. We were seated right away and service was prompt to arrive. We started with a bottle of I Vigneri Nerello Mascalese, which ended up pairing well with the dishes we selected. We ordered multiple small plates to share. - Beef Tartare + Maxim Potato, Vine Ripe Tomato Tarte Tatin, and the Ricotta Gnocchi + Lamb Bolognese. While each of these was delicious, the gnocchi was definitely the stand out. Moving to entrées, we ordered the Brioche Crusted Flounder and the Pork Schnitzel. We also added the Yukon Gold Potato Purée. Everything was seasoned well and flavorful. For dessert we ordered the Sticky Sorghum Pudding and Olive Oil and Pistachio Cake. I have had traditional sticky toffee pudding many, many times, but their version with sorghum in it, brings it to a whole new level. This is quite possibly the best dessert I’ve ever had! Beautiful ambience and breathtaking view of the ocean from floor to almost ceiling windows. We had an amazing server who was proud of the restaurant and was very knowledgeable about the menu. He provided stellar service. We went for my husband's 26th birthday and although we went with a few dishes in mind we decided to be spontaneous and try the chef's tasting menu. It was incredible! Very exciting not knowing what's going to show up next. We got to try various types of fish and seafood and a decadent dessert. The one downside is that the portions are a bit small for the tasting but I could see from other tables that ordered straight off of the menu that any entree on the menu would be very filling. The food is pricey but I would say priced fairly. You definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality. Overall amazing night and delicious food. We WILL be going back again for sure.

The lady at the cash register was so very passive aggressive and odd. The looks she gave people were infuriating. I watched for a long while and it was so hard to see. The garnish/sauce with Nico's offers a sweet pairing and I appreciated an unexpected twist. We LOVE escargot and were excited to see them on the menu. Kersey House has amazing escargot so we had high hopes. Unfortunately, they were a huge disappointment. Not only did they have zero flavor, they were missing the baguette on top that's listed on the menu as part of the dish. That baguette is one of my favorite parts of Kersey House's escargot. This dish was desperately lacking in flavor and all of the ingredients. Next, main courses. My husband had the filet. I had the sea scallops. Now, if you've been to Hall's, my God you know the standard they set with their filets, both regular and bison filets. Let me start by saying that both the scallops and the filets were cooked to absolute perfection. However, not one ounce of seasoning or flavor could have possibly been added. Zero flavor. My scallops were served on top of white rice and peas. I let my husband try a bite and asked him what he tasted. His response, "white rice". That's awful. Such a disservice. You owe your customers more than to taste the flavor of white rice over what should be a decadent dish of scallops. Next, it was our anniversary. We chose your restaurant to spend celebrating. It was put in the notes on the reservation. At Hall's, you are immediately met with a glass of champagne. Yes, I've done the research. It's by no means an expensive glass of champagne. Restaurant has indoor dining room and bar seating as well as outdoor bar and table seating. The outdoor seating is well protected from the elements. In fact this evening was exceptionally chilly but the outdoor area was toasty! Kudos to out bartender/ server Katie for helping to make this a truly enjoyable experience. Highly recommend

From the moment we sat down, we were taken care of by Josh, who knew the menu inside and out. He gave us some of the best recommendations we could have asked for. The kitchen staff make it a point to welcome us in and interact with us as we were fortunate to be able to watch them work. Our server Josh was fantastic and made us feel like we were family. The food was great , the service was great and the portions were huge! We loved everything! Because of that we came back Sunday and ordered same food (shrimp, scallops, fried tomatoes) and wow.
