If you are in Nashville, a visit to Hattie B's is definitely a must. I love the Half Bird Combo. It gets you 2 pieces of chicken, one leg and a breast. And you have the choice of making them differentky spiced. I preferred the Hot and Damn Hot. Remember that Damn Hot is manageable since the chicken itself is not spiced within. But trying this with nuggets is a very different ballgame. The place also has decent amount of parking and a variety of indoor and outdoor seats.

Love “Nashville Hot” style chicken so had to try this place out. Definitely worth trying at least once. We lucked out and had no wait and got to park at the restaurant. We both had the tenders. I elected for the hot and wife had the mild. The hot is what I expected it to taste like, but could have used some more flavor. Mild taste jjust like plain tenders and no Nashville hot taste to it. Chicken arrived hit and fresh. Fries were crispy and had a good taste. Also tried the pimento Mac and cheese and it was also tasty.

I wasn’t sure if hot chicken was for me but it was the perfect lunch meal - we got the fried sandwich and the quarter chicken (medium) which were both so so good.
Sides were with fries, Mac and cheese and the southern greens. Fries were crinkle cut crispy and the southern greens were nicely balanced and not overpowering. The mac and cheese was okay but I’ve had better.
The hot sauce butter is sooooo good on the chicken, the skin stays crispy and seasoned v well - the chicken was tender juicy and very fresh tasting.
The Midtown branch staff were brilliant in their service, they seemed to be really enjoying themselves and the vibe was immaculate, great r&b music playing. I went back to grab a peach cobbler I had mentioned to them earlier and they let me go to the front of the line. Would go perfectly with some ice cream.
Needless to say tips a plenty!

You can’t visit Nashville without eating at Hattie B. This location isn’t the university so the line is pretty long with only two register taking orders.
This is my first time trying Hattie B but I went for Nashville hot, it’s good flavor and still juicy. Personally I don’t think it’s that spicy. It’s not the best flavor in town but definitely the easiest for location.
There are a lot of outdoor tables to sit, as long as order is placed it moves fast.

We stopped into the distillery in Nashville and had such a great time. 🍸✨ From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere set the tone — a cool mix of rustic charm and modern energy that made it feel both relaxed and lively. It’s the kind of place you immediately feel comfortable in.

Managed to sneak in here a half hour before closing and still got an A+ meal’ got a simple Plain Jane Pie and was highly impressed with the simplicity and highly quality taste. The red sauce was very simple tomato base and you could taste it with nice brick oven burning on the crust and the crunchy bottom side with good melted quality on top.
Would love to eat that pie again and would recommend coming in and making the visit. The staff was also very polite and enjoyable as well.

The Stillery is a great spot half a block off of Broadway. It's a nice chill spot to have some drinks, great food, and listen to some good music. The atmosphere was perfect for an afternoon lunch. The crowd and music wasn't as rowdy as the Broadway scene. Our Bartender was great too! I apologize as I don't remember her name (Friday afternoon while Trevor was performing), but her recommendations for food and beers was spot on. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich didn't disappoint. It was hot, but had flavor with it too. Highly recommended checking this place out!

Our waiter was not very personable. We wondered if it was just how busy it was, but he forgot a drink and there was a long wait until he asked if we wanted our bill. Really good place to visit if you’re a tourist and you wanna try. The mac and cheese was amazing, as well as the chicken. Fish was great as well. They have crinkle cut fries that were really good. The cheese pizza was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, it was so good.

Let me just lead off this review, being a mac and cheese fanatic and self-named expert, that their mac and cheese is literally to die for. I mean it. Go for it alone and the rest of the stuff can fall in line. The energy of the place was great, and I even Shazammed some of their songs for future listening pleasure. Odd songs that added to the energy of the place but that were unique and not your usual background songs. Our bartender was great initially and very welcoming. I didn't get a picture, as I didn't want to weird folks out, but the patio area was cool too. The drink and food prices were awesome during happy hour. $6 drinks, and food specials too. They have a house-made hot sauce that was incredible. The only reason I give this place a 4 is because the service tailed off dramatically near the end of hh. We wanted to try the delicious looking fries, and the grilled cheese (which I am also a self-named expert), but never got our order in before the end of hh, as the bartender got busy with patio tables. I still definitely recommend, we will be going back during our next Nashville visit (if only for the mac and cheese), and see you there...

The menu is different from the last time I was there. It used to be witty, clever and everything I had up until my visit this past Saturday was delicious. So new menu, nothing I recognized and no fun descriptors. So I asked the bartender about the Frito Misto as I love all the components as described. He said it wasn't his favorite as he's not a oyster lover. Well I am so I ordered it. It came really quickly and I was kind of surprised at how dark the fry was. I thought it might just be the spices in the breading, but when I cut into the first nugget (it was caulifower) it was truly very thick and way over cooked. The cauliflower pactically disintegragted when I pierced it with the fork. I was super trepidatious now to try the oyster, which again was indicernable from the rest of the dark crusty chunks. Just like the cauliflower, it was just a heavy fatty tasting blob. The green beans beans were limp like noodles with no flaovr at all. When the bartender checked in with me, I told him I was put off by how dark the fry was and was thinking maybe it would be more like a light tempura crunch. I couldn't finish it. I was sad that I had eaten as much as I did. I asked for a beer to cleanse my pallet and wash away the greasy coating on my tongue. I am sad for the whole experience, especially when I had some entertaining yummy memories in the past.

Had brunch at The Mockingbird today and loved the creative menu, fun drinks, and tasty food.
Our server was great, and surprisingly, it was pretty quiet for a Saturday at 10:30 a.m.—though it started picking up by the time we left.
I ordered the Chicken and Biscuits, which was a standout. Crispy chicken, fluffy biscuits, and smothered in a savory, slightly spicy gravy that pulled everything together. I don’t usually write reviews, but the food and service at Mockingbird last night truly won our hearts. The spinach dip and their “Don’t Worry Brie Happy” grilled cheese were absolutely delicious! I had the salmon for my main course, and it was cooked perfectly.
We also had one of the best servers ever- Deep. he was friendly, attentive, and clearly knew the menu inside and out. Despite managing several large parties on a busy night, he made us feel genuinely cared for. Plus, he had great energy (and yes, he was pretty handsome too!).

Mockingbird was absolutely incredible! The team here is top-notch Mike, the owner, went above and beyond to make our visit truly special. Trey and the entire staff were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel like VIPs from the moment we walked in until the moment we left.

Just walked in without checking it out first because it looked crowded. We were not disappointed! Fantastic service at the bar. We asked to sit there to watch the football game and the bartender gladly accommodated us. Check out the menu on line as they have a big menu (they serve breakfast until 11a). Huge portions. Very reasonable prices. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich was delicious. Not too spicy. Not too sweet. Nicely breaded, crispy but still tender. Coleslaw was good. Large portion of thin fries. The Piggy Mac was amazing. Lots of pulled pork covered with the creamiest macaroni and cheese, topped with two tasty little pancake type biscuits.

Experience could've been better if our server Victoria wasn't horrendous. The food was excellent but service was very poor. Ordered two appetizers that came out with our food because our server brought out the wrong appetizers first from another order. Not one of the meats had any smokey flavor and were dry. I ‘m sure it’s all baked. No smoke rings on the brisket, stringy pieces of pulled pork, dry turkey that was probably heated on a grill top, and sausage heated on one side but skin side was raw. The chicken was so over baked even the dark meat was dry. Baked beans were blah. How do you screw up baked beans?
This place was filthy. The silverware was dirty and I asked for a clean set for myself and daughter. The next set was just as dirty so our waitress threw plastic ware on the table saying it all comes from the same dishwasher.
Server was extremely rude. At one point she threw plates on our table for a shared starter and it was so loud even she was taken aback.
Every question we had for her she seemed to take as a personal assault.
The person who seated us never said a word to us. He later blocked my way leaving while sweeping the floor. Really?, during a lunch? Can you say… sanitation classes may be in order here.

Got here right after breakfast was ending (which looked good btw) and got some lunch. The pimento cheese balls were delicious and unique. I got the daily meat and 3 sides special. I opened for the pulled pork but chicken was an option. If I understand it correctly it changes daily. Sides were green beans and fries. First Dinner in Nashville and we chose Puckett's. We wanted the experience of local foods from a known spot.
I chose whole Farm for meal for the both of us. I would call this the "Kit & Kaboodle"
This came with smoked turkey breast, smoked sausage, half chicken, beed brisket, cherry wood smoked pulled pork, served with smoked bake beans and collard greens. We added a side of red beans, rice and sausage. She chose a smoked whiskey bloody Mary with a fried chicken drumstick!
She really enjoyed that drink.
I want to say the smoke sausage was great, and the smoked Turkey breast was really good. All food was really good..I think the half chicken needed to be cooked longer.
We arrived late and were only ones ordering food in restaurant. For the place being empty, it did take awhile before a server showed up. We were close to leaving. However once the server arrived, then the service was good.

Arnold's is the epitome of the mom and pop meat and three. Cafeteria style straight forward menu that rotates by day. I desperately wanted to get a picture of the menu on the wall, but Arnold's was so busy there was never an opportunity without people standing in front of it to get in the line of delicious food that awaits.
The working class who want to taste food from home; made with love and care that mom and grandma would put in their food, and Arnold's sure delivers that exact food. At a meant'n three you expect to fall in love with the mac and cheese, but it was burned badly, and the few pieces that didn't have burned cheese weren't overly tasty. If you like very very salty foods, you'll love the green beans, otherwise I couldn't eat them. Also almost $14 for parking because they're small lot was full. Don't buy the hype here.

Stopped here for lunch based on a recommendation from a local. I was not disappointed. The staff was really freindly and genuinely looked happy to be working here. The whole place was very welcoming.
I ordered the hot chicken sandwich and it was amazing. the chicken was perfectly spicy, it was served on really thick toast that was cooked perfectly. The ranch they served with it was really good. along with a generous serving of fries.

Visited during Valentine’s weekend and it was surprisingly not very busy; no complaints here. The food was great as expected. The cheesesteak Eggrolls were delicious! Easily one of the best egg roll variations I’ve ever had. Got the 16oz USDA Prime NY Strip steak and it was cooked to perfection! The exterior char was delightful. The Caesar salad was the perfect balance of crisp lettuce and dressing; not soggy like some salads can be. The Brussels sprouts were top tier. Opted not to have the bacon lardons inside due to dietary restrictions. The perfect margaritas were as advertised! 10/10 experience and would recommend.

We had a party of 8 for dinner Saturday night and it was phenomenal! Our table was ready in advance of our 6pm reservation and we were greeted politely and seated promptly. Dillon took such good care of us and he was extremely knowledgeable about all dinner options and our many questions. He was patient and perfectly explained how the chef prepares each item. Our drinks and appetizers arrived quickly and we're enjoyed by all. I ordered the 10 Oz filet for dinner and it melted in my mouth. Our group ordered a variety of items from steak, salmon, fish and chips, and even dessert. Everything was delicious! If you are looking for dining options off Broadway, I highly recommend it. Very nice service. They have a vegetarian substitute for the soup in the grilled cheese and soup combo. Both the grilled cheese and the soup were delicious. My friend had the regular tomato soup and liked that as well.

Would give this place 6 stars if I could! Best grilled cheese sandwiches I’ve ever had. I usually don’t believe in buying grilled cheese since most restaurants charge way too much for something I could make equally at home, but this place proved me all wrong. Came here a year ago (I’m from Texas) and since I had a layover in Nashville, I took an uber out just to have this restaurant again.
Ordered the pimento mac and birria grilled cheeses. These sandwiches had an unbelievable crunch and a buttery, savory, cheesy, flavor-bursting interior. Paired with a heart warming homemade tomato soup and insanely delicious Dubai chocolate milkshake.
Service was also awesome, was met with friendly smiles and warm welcomes. Also got to meet the owner who took the time to serve us and chat with us.

I have been waiting to return to Nashville so I can go back to the Grilled Cheeserie to get a Pimento Grilled Cheese. I tried this place 3 years ago when I was passing through Nashville on my way to Texas. I loved the grilled cheese so much I had to stop again on my way back through Nashville. Thankfully, the quality and taste of the food has not changed since my last visit 3 years ago. Which is an unfortunate common situation. Everyone in my party ordered something different, so I was lucky enough to try a bit of everyone’s food. As I said before, I got the pimento mac and cheese grilled cheese, it was the perfect blend of all flavors. Others got the classic grilled cheese which had massive cheese pulls, and chicken pesto grilled cheese. They have a milkshake bar with a variety of flavors, the restaurant is designed in that classic “old school diner” style. The milkshakes were big, they even give you the extra that doesn’t fit in the mug. Everyone in my party had raving reviews which only confirmed that this place has not changed. Will be looking forward to coming back here on my next visit.

We were there during college football Saturday, and there was a Vanderbilt game on… So you could imagine the rowdy excitement of the crowd. Louder than normal, but in a good contagious way. We had an okay brunch here overall however there were several issues. The draft beers were down, the coffee machines were down ( at a brunch spot) and the service was very slow while it was dead inside. I did the bottomless Bellini option for $30 and when the bill came I was charged individually because I switched and I had a mimosa and another flavor (even though it was included in the bottomless with diff flavors) so I was super annoyed at that. I didn’t even bring it up because my group was already extremely annoyed at the slow service and just wanted to leave. If you are from up north, brace yourself for island time service in most of Nashville. Everyone is just extremely slow and no urgency in anything. So bottomless mimosas , was definitely a miss for us as it took long to refill so I was able to only have 3 in 1.5 hours. The kale salad was good, I added grilled chicken and the chicken had absolutely no seasoning or flavor. Completely bland and grilled so that was disappointing. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was excellent. That must be the best thing on the menu because it was very well balanced. The biscuits were just whatever, pretty hard and dry. I wouldn’t return because of the food and service. The decor and atmosphere is very cute but very feminine. I don’t seen any men just walking in here to have food lol.

I got the breakfast plate and amazing eggs and potatoes I didn't need to add any ketchup or anything. But it did get a little salty as I kept eating but it was still delicious. The biscuit was delightful and soo soft and the right amount of flaky.

Honestly, the food tasted like frozen breakfast trays from the aisle of Kroger or Walmart deep freezer. Just look at the chicken, dried out, rubbery, and cooked in old grease. Was visiting from Memphis for the day and wanted some Jamaican food. And found this on Yelp. This was my first time seeing a cafeteria style set up Jamaican place. The food was well seasoned. The only thing was it was a a lot of fatty pieces to the oxtail. I don't eat oxtail a lot so I'm not sure if that's normal or not. Yummmyyyy I’d for sure be back. I ordered the small oxtails with rice&peas with cabbage. It was pretty slow in there once I arrived but shortly after a line approached. So that’s always a great sign to see people come in right before closing. The worker was really nice and patience. You can tell he takes pride in his work.
You have to try their fresh squeeze’s beverages. I loved the pineapple and coconut drink. It tasted like a pina colada but not so sweet and thick.
