Went grand harbour with my daughter while go.. since move to nz I miss home dim sum a lot. har gow and siu mai very fresh! roast duck juicy and tasty. my daughter like it too. tea hot and nice. on busy day some dishes come slow but I am happy. I will come again with my daughter.
我带女儿去grand harbour吃点心。我在新西兰住了两年，非常想念家乡的味道。虾饺和烧卖很新鲜，烧鸭多汁很好吃。女儿也很喜欢。茶很热很好喝。人多的时候有些菜上得慢，不过我很满意。下次我还会带女儿再来。
味道真不错，有免费的停车场，进去后拿票到前台刷一下免费三个小时。服务员态度好，尤其是一位带眼镜的男士。
一星我都不想给，想不到今时今日在奥克兰，还有华人不待见华人的餐厅，我是特意写中文的，写给看得懂中文的所有食客看，作为华人被这家餐厅的华人服务生歧视了，下午两点多去喝茶，店里只有几桌，端点心的阿姨问了我们桌右边和前边的洋人食客需要啥，完全没有问我们需要啥，服务生热情询问旁边两桌洋人食客需要什么蘸酱，而我们半小时内问了三位服务生能否给辣椒酱都没有人给我们拿过来，最后我们向其中一位看起来资深的服务生投诉，他听完面无表情，一声不吭走掉了，过一会一个女生给我们拿来辣椒油。。。我说我要辣椒酱。。。。。我老公生气的问他们是听不懂粤语还是听不懂普通话，服务生还是面无表情的走掉了，估计我们要说英文才能得到正常的服务态度
为什么这么气氛！因为去过好几次了 没被这么对待过！6点 店里一大半以上的位子还空着 前台短发女经理大姨妈嘛？态度那个差啊 不抬头看你 皱着眉头问我们几位 我们没提前预定是因为知道早点去肯定有位 结果被臭个脸低着头告知：“你们没定位 我没法接待” 我们问外边临窗的位子呢 我们说四五个人 小桌子也行 又被不耐烦的告知那些位子都不开的 不开你摆那么多桌子干...真搞笑！ 然后就哄我们 说：“不接待 接待不了 没有位子 全满了 你们不定位 没位子”又自己低着头嘟囔了一堆听不清的话 我和朋友们居然这样就被轰走了 我CNDY！给你脸了 求着你们餐厅了！全世界就剩你们一家餐厅啦！去你们家吃饭你们给我们钱是吗！我和我几个朋友感觉像流浪汉进门讨饭一样 就这么活活的轰走了 连一句不好意思 对不起之类的话都没有也就罢了 什么垃圾态度！中国人的餐厅就这么对待中国的顾客？！如果是洋人客人你们也会这样嘛！肯定堆起一脸褶子的笑容跟人家说里边请了吧！无所谓 奥克兰别的没有 广东餐厅还是满街跑的！转身我们去了新世界 一只大龙虾 两只黑鲍 贝壳 烤鸭之类的点了一大桌子 新世界打捞龙虾的小姑娘还一直说我们人不多 不需要太大的龙虾 还说我们点的菜多 给我们从小桌子换到了大桌子！我撒谎我孙子！吃饭的时候服务员一直过来跟我们聊天 问菜怎么样 我只想说 新世界的椒盐龙虾真的比你们家好吃太多了 我还得谢谢你们呢 永别了您内 您那的宝座还是一直空着吧

COVID-19疫情期间level2.5周六来吃，停车位很多，但疫情阻挡不了吃货们来吃美食，依然很火爆，我们提前电话订了位，吃的很满意 ！好吃！😋难怪火了这么多年！

珍珠花园餐厅是位于奥克兰新市场地区的一家历史悠久的家族经营餐厅，以其传统的中餐和热情友好的服务而闻名。餐厅成立于1975年，多年来不断发展，同时保持着谦逊的起步和强大的家庭氛围。菜单上有经典的中式菜肴，如点心和炒菜，特别推荐的是金色奶黄包。餐厅以其热闹的饮茶服务和新鲜美味的饺子而闻名。
整体很不错的一次体验，服务员态度很好，菜品质量很不错，国内来的朋友都赞不绝口。唯一一个反馈就是烧卖的猪肉有点点腥味。

当我们想吃yum cha时，我们总是去那里，但从现在开始我们不会再去了，因为前台的女士非常粗鲁，对顾客大声说话，好像她在大喊大叫，不专业，根本没有客户服务。
时隔几年来出品还是很稳定，稳定的难吃。牛肚牛仔骨凤爪基本都有不新鲜的味道，实在无法想象这个地段和人流量的出品如此之差，唯一及格可能只有排骨了，但是也不能细品，建议不是没得选还是别来了
整体服务太差了，而且服务还区别对待。整个盘子（碗）是油的，而且杯子里面还有油渍 ，灰，还要头发！！真的该整改一下谢谢！！！。还有就一个盘子，骨头放在一个盘子里，整个超级影响食欲！！大无语谢谢好吗！！！
很不好的一次体验，我们去的很早，店里客人不多，服务员的态度很不耐烦很凶，食物很难吃，咕噜肉用的很肥的猪肉做的。要了一份炸麻团，服务员说只有两个了不够一份，问可不可以换成咸水角，那就换吧。结果麻团和咸水角个头很小很薄，而且送上来都没给剪开，很烫筷子也没法夹住，我们吃过很多茶楼都是上桌后给剪开的。要了一份炸春卷，一点盐味都没有，吃了个寂寞！要了一份牛肚，很不新鲜一股子怪味儿，只好扔下不吃了！再也不会去了！

昨天我们原本订了4位，但后来有两位朋友要加入，我们要求換张小圆桌给我们，店里有位年轻女人黑着张脸叫嚣着说原本订了4位不可以加位，要我们离开。我们随行有老人从停车场老远走到店里，我们一行人所听见看见太让人气愤😠，我为了老人先忍气叫些点心，点心还都是凉的，除了后上来的金衣虾丸是热。我们一家都是贵店的忠实客人，昨天的经历实在令人失望。

点了八个菜，一个主食，送了例汤和水果
没有一个菜的味道是对的，点菜一个小时后才上菜。
服务态度很差！明明可以点点心，一个所谓看起来的经理阻止服务员小姐不让她为我们点，要先卖车上东西，问题是推车上东西也少，很久也没有几个车来！如果有负分就好！希望引以为戒，不要踩坑，打开门做生意，就这样做生意？？
一个服务员和我说是可以用菜单直接点的不用一定等餐车，我点的时候一个大妈特别拽，不让我用菜单点，说是必须等餐车过来，我话还没说完就直接打断不停的说我来的太晚了东西都卖完了（语气很冲也不让我继续点）。结果后来别的服务员跟我说是可以点的，只是需要现做。有毒吧真的，是来餐厅还是来当老爷的，好大的官威啊。不会再去这种神经病上班的地方。
几个老阿姨点菜的时候可谓是非常积极，点完菜我让帮我把茶叶换一下又苦又酸，阿姨直接告诉我等会儿再说等会儿再说，完事再没回来。行！我就凑合喝好吧，喝完了盖子打开等加水到结账也没人看一眼，来来回回推荐菜品的人倒是不少。疫情之后是不是早茶只能喝一壶？真忙得很也就算了，差不多一半的上座率，服务行业服务不重要
疫情之前最喜欢的一个餐厅，味道正宗，食材新鲜。疫情之后去过一次晚餐。好多食材都改成油炸的，感觉像快餐便当一样。所以，再没有去过。
服务态度非常差，你关门了不是问题但是什么叫“你瞎了看不见门牌吗”就是柜台里那的大妈。应该以后都不会再来，也会建议所有认识的人不要再来。看到这条评论的人可以想想真的要受这样的气来喝茶吗。同时也会把这条评论发到所有的社交平台上！
The service attitude is very poor. It's not a problem if you are close , but what is "Are you blind and can't see the sign?" is the old lady at the counter. I will never come again in the future, and I would advise everyone I know not to come again. People who read this comment can think about whether they really want to drink tea under such anger. 这是第一家我在新西兰试过的早茶点，不好吃，味道很一般，价格5到7纽币，大部分是6.5和7纽币的，服务还好，推车的阿姨笑眯眯的，和蔼。 早茶种类太少，主要是味道不好，超级买的食材。As a traditional chinese and also have been living in Guangdong for 5years, it is the worst I ever met,only because all the dishes I eat ,bad taste. Price is also not cheap from 5 to 7dollar. Only 3 are 5dollar.Others are not cheap.

价格略高了吧 如果菜品味道好 那我也没话说。 如果是 fine dining 可以工序做得更精致点 味道更丰富点 而不是单一的咸味 食材可以更新鲜点。
片皮烤鸭 皮不够酥脆 里面的肉 又干又粗糙 无鸭味。 感觉是 不新鲜的鸭子（因为没有鸭的味道） 好几天前或者更早烤好的 然后冷存 又加热的 还没有完全加热到酥脆就上桌了 因为酥脆需要长时间地特别高温加热 才能达到酥脆 然而虽然我们等了20分钟 还是没有酥脆 更加说明 鸭子不是现成。 如果说自己是 fine dining 完全没有达到 现做的宗旨。
皮也是 四五张皮 粘连一起 一些甚至到融合一起 基本三四张都分不开 那说明皮肯定 冷冻直接蒸 连蒸前解冻都不想解冻。
虾还行 用柚子粒和石榴 来平衡 炸虾的油腻 一点葱丝配着 丰富了一下口感。 蟹肉汤 口感可以 没啥肉和内容 味道平衡可以 就是26块这么一口。
宫保鸡丁还是主厨推荐 真的 瞎了眼了点这个菜 本来想点炸鸡什么的说没有了才改的 。 这个料汁完全用了片皮鸭酱汁调配手法 再放点辣椒和洋葱 提味 压根没起到解咸味的作用 因为 咸味太重 鲜辣味压根没体现出来 吃了一两块压根吃不下去了。
因为不想浪费钱和食物 所以吃到吃不下 留下几块鸭肉和鸡肉。
我们花了175 两位 因为食量小 又加中午吃得多 没想到点套餐 又以为要提前预约的。 再加上 服务员培训地也差，因为我们坐在那20分钟 一直看酒水的菜单 等他们过来点酒。 然后我点了酸梅汁 。 然后她就说 just that？ thats all？ 我说对呀。 她一脸懵逼 我们也郁闷为何点酒需要等我们20分钟。
然后我老公问 可以给一下food menu吗 她立马道歉说 sorry。 我立马反应过来 她以为我们来就点喝的不点菜。 你都没给我菜单 我咋点。 而且 如果你看我们点了快200了 她可以介绍一下 我们可以点两人套餐 比较划算 可以up sale 再加说明 套餐 类似 7 courses 不需要提前预约的。

说是Fine dining 但是四个人的套餐不是分开盘子给我们的，都是Share plate，摆盘不够精致，味道不是咸了就是淡了，酱汁毫无创意，食材也不够新鲜，牛肉吃起来只有酱汁的味道，酱汁味道也是Pakn'save里随便能买到的那种廉价烧烤酱，很难在新西兰吃到这么没有牛肉味的牛肉了，只能靠嚼劲感觉到这是牛肉的那种，炸软壳蟹一般，虾和烤鸭味道还不错，烤鸭皮是从冰箱里拿出来还没解冻就蒸了，因为都粘到一起了，盲猜虾是冷冻虾，并不是新鲜的，毕竟冷冻虾裹上面粉一炸也吃不出来好坏，总体味道一般，不算难吃，但是四个人结账$500，还要了我用Credit卡的$9 手续费我就不满意了！能把这种烂水准做成Fine dining的形式只是为了骗更多外国人吧？餐厅90%都是老外，另外，在稍微有水准一点的餐厅吃饭超过$100用信用卡付钱都不需要收手续费…服务就不用说了，500刀的餐厅我都不敢要求有服务，如果5星是满分，那么我给1颗星，只是为了给我们两台车在寸土寸金的CBD免费停车。
周五晩上我们三个人点了一个套餐，共三百。 八点半到，里面连我们共三桌人，人数不超十人，最后只剩下我们仨。热开水和凉水只送过来一次，抬手叫才再送。我们基本不吃油炸食物，因为是高级歺馆，所以也想吃点炸的东西，但食物是黄色的即不是用新鲜的油炸，不合格！其它食物的味道非常的一般而且油腻，我们都有把吃剩的打包回家的习惯，这次没有。
味道还不错，环境挺好的，相对奥克兰其他饮茶餐厅来说很舒适

the FOH ask me to put the baby pram somewhere else not near the table. excuse me, are you going to take care of my baby when Im dining here?我们点了龙虾，3.5kg的龙虾竟然主厨说不能把龙虾头的虾黄炖蛋，说本餐厅做不了。不知道是以前的厨子换了呢还是这个龙虾头的黄他们要自己炖蛋。就没看到龙虾头在哪儿，也没有摆盘。
宝宝座椅不能放在我旁边那你是要给我看孩子吗？莫名其妙。态度不好就算了。用餐两小时也是可以的。但是明明桌子都是空着的呢。是服务员要偷懒少干点吗？上个酒拖了半小时。不知道那么多人拿着工资在干啥。
千万不要在google上预订这家。预订之后取消会收取250刀所谓的取消费，非常坑人，强制消费，太可拍了。打电话取消的时候也没人告知会有这笔费用
味道非常一般。真的不差，但是完全谈不上好。厨房可能人手金贵吧，上菜速度很慢。服务员人数很多，态度是很不错，可是为什么边上桌子都结束半小时了还没人擦桌子，我还在吃最后一口就急着要收我的盘子？员工是不是来不及培训？

晚上7点来吃晚饭，点了几个菜，结果走地鸡没有，脆皮猪肠没有，后来说想换钻石蚌也说没有。点的片皮鸭两吃，很普通，配菜的胡萝卜跟大葱感觉放很久了，干炒牛河还不错，还有海参花胶扒菜菇也挺好，木耳炒胜瓜的胜瓜太少了而且每片切很大个影响口感，有送例汤还有送糖水
最经常吃的早茶店之一，强烈推荐他们家的脆心虾肠！就是虾肠粉里面有脆脆的东东，好像是薄脆。自从知道了之后，每次去就必点了！除了经常点的虾饺，这家的烧麦也不错可以接受，因为猪肉那种味道不是很重。不过排骨就会有那种比较重的猪肉的味道，不是太喜欢。炸鱿鱼须很大一份，刚炸出来热乎乎的时候特别好吃😋 虾多士，牛肚都很好吃！之前还点过一份榴莲雪媚娘，一个就超大个，一开始吃觉得很好吃，但是一个人吃掉一整个就开始腻了😝 服务很不错，很热情！环境整洁干净。
肠粉很好吃，粥不错。美中不足的是有几个阿姨听到你不需要的时候会看起来很生气
早茶挺不错的，凤爪软烂适中，没有异味，肠粉味道也挺好，周末时候特别火爆，十一点半以后就要等位了

My son and I ordered a big bowl of spicy boiled beef, we requested super spicy, but it wasn’t spicy at all,it was sweet. The biggest problem was that the beef was so tough and chewy, full of tendons! With each bite, I hoped the next one would be better,but worse,I gave up !I ended up only eating the big cabbage stems in the bowl. There weren’t even any leaves—just huge, flavorless, undercooked cabbage stems, along with bean sprouts and vermicelli! The bottom of the bowl was filled with vegetables, so after finishing them, I mentioned the issue with the beef to the lady at the checkout. Her attitude was terrible. She said, 'That’s just how the beef is. After all, it’s beef.' Then she sarcastically added, 'that means we did not add tenderizer!' She even said, 'Look, you ate it all.' But we only reached the bottom after digging out all the vegetables, okay? Not even a single apology! 1000% bad reviews! My left side tooth got so painful now !
和儿子点了一大盆水煮牛肉，超超辣，一点也不辣。最大的问题是，嚼不烂，肉都是带着筋！每吃一口都想下一口会好，试了几次都是筋，放弃了！只吃了盆里面的大白菜帮，连个叶子都没有，巨大是没入味，没熟的大帮子，豆芽，粉条！因为菜铺底下占了一大盆，吃完菜，跟结账女的说肉的问题，那女的态度很差的说，肉就是这样，反正是牛肉，后来又抖机灵，这才说明我们没加嫩肉精！又说，你看你都吃到底了。我们只把菜掏空才见底的好不好！连个抱歉都没有！1000%差评！左后牙槽被肉塞的疼的要死！

We dined at Soul Bar for dinner. Our server Liz was very lovely and attentive, she made us very comfortable and answered our questions gracefully regarding the menu.
All the dishes were well presented, fresh and flavorful. Good mocktail selection to, which was a nice surprise. It was a weekend evening so it was fairly loud but great, lively atmosphere for an inner city restaurant. Bathrooms were clean and tidy, rest of the staff were friendly too.

We have been to Soul bar on many occasions and really enjoyed it in the past, how ever that last few times we have been very disappointed and specially the last visit was for my partners birthday. We weren't there for the ladies lunch we were paying full price and spending alot of money. The service was so bad one of the waitresses plonked our food infront of us with no words or even a smile and walked off. The food was tasteless and nothing to rav about. We ordered the prawn pasta and it came out Looking and tasting over cooked with a prawn head on top of it with about 3 little bits of prawn through it, the seafood chow was made with chicken stock and not very nice, the fish dish was average along with the 2 entrée we had. We won't be back as we can cook better at home.

My partner and I recently visited MASU and went for the Shomi menu; absolutely spectacular! Every dish was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The portion sizes were perfect, and the timing between courses was just right, allowing us to really enjoy each plate.
The atmosphere was lively yet refined, and it was genuinely entertaining to watch the chefs in their element. You can tell they take pride in their craft. A special mention to the chef with the snake tattoo;

Brought my parents here for their 45th anniversary, was totally worth it. Got to try their Kagoshima A5 wagyu to see if it lived up to the hype. Was amazing. Never tasted beef like that before, melted in my mouth like butter, didn't need any garnish or condiments, just grilled and seared to perfection. Kind of sad we didn’t visit sooner. All the food we ordered were delicious. The wontons are definitely pricey but they were also very delicious - great sauce. Didn’t expect to be so impressed by the tofu- great flavours. The biang biang noodles are popular for a reason, not too salty and amazing texture. Char siu was a tad dry but not to the point where it affected our overall experience. Really like the open kitchen and overall style of the interior. Very friendly staff! Definitely will be back.

Catroux has a decent selection available from their menu or their cabinet. Service was pretty good considering how busy it was when we arrived.
We ordered their smoked salmon bagel and their mince and cheese pie (from the cabinet) for a quick bite in the morning. We also got some mochas (we also wanted a vanilla latte, but they didn’t have syrups, which surprised us), but the mochas were good.
The pie had a great crust. The mince had more of a Mexican-style flavour, which wasn’t quite what I expected, as I was hoping for a more traditional gravy style, but it was still enjoyable. The smoked salmon bagel had nice ingredients that I think complemented each other nicely. The salmon stood out as the clear leader, but not overpowering, as it can often be.

I had the Fitness Bowl ($28) and Tumeric Glow smoothie ($12.50). Was it worth it for a $40 meal? No.
Firstly, it took forever to order, it is a busy place but the service was good.
My Fitness Bowl was missing the tahini yoghurt, which was needed to bring the whole meal together and poached egg was over-cooked. It was a hard boil egg, so the meal was very dry….and there was no seasoning. Add the chewy dry halumi….the Fitness bowl was a disappointment.
The Tumeric Glow smoothie was a yellow coconut, banana milkshake. It was thin and I could not taste the mango and passionfruit …which was the main reason why I ordered it.
I feel that due to the place being so busy, there was a lack of attention to what was being prepared, put together and served.
The only thing that had to be cooked was the poached egg…which was an utter fail.

The cafe is rather intimate and clean but quite noisy due to the large crowds both seated and those in the long queue.
That made it very hard to have a contact the table, especially if one of the group speaks quietly.
The staff seem quiet friendly even under stress.
Our elderly friend loved her wee cake, my husband liked the quiche but I tried to like it but not really.
Next time I’ll choose something from the delicious looking cake section.
The negative thing from our first visit here was my coffee was completely forgotten and we had to ask twice if it was coming.
We were asked what size we had ordered (what?) and it did arrive in less than 3 minutes after this question. Sadly I didn’t enjoy it at all as the coffee tasted burnt and bitter so I couldn’t drink it.
My husband did as he said, “it’s paid for and I’m not wasting it!”
The prices are quite reasonable.

I've never come across a cafe burning scented candles. It completely goes against dining out. You want food smells not headaches from candle scents that you can taste. If you like queues that would lose in a turtle race go there. If you like not being offered any serviettes for takeaway or having them readily available to grab go there. If you like westmere prices for diced up raw veges go there. It is indeed popular, would be nice to see a variety of salads on rotation and not everything overly salted with feta and parmesan.

A year ago the lady manager was very ill and her staff were not following processes.... She was very frustrated and had no support. We took the time and patience to ask her when we first saw how upset she was at them.
We have been a patron for over 4 years since moving to Albany, and have seen the changes through the business; the yum Cha selection of food is Hong Kong style and taste is as it should be. Lovely!!!
We can't comment about the main meals as have not ordered those as we have always enjoyed the yum-Cha.
We have taken the time to build a mutual relationship wherever we patron and come to understand how difficult it is to run a restaurant when during peak times everyone wants everything "now". So if you are rushing with everyone during peak time, pls be patient and have consideration as well. From our observation, patrons themselves are not friendly but expect waiting staff to be?
Currently the lady manager has battled her sickness and she is getting better; we are very happy for her. Her current regular staff are mature and helpful. Yes sometimes the kitchen takes a bit to bring the ordered items out; but it's worth the wait and patience.
What we love most is that; they are able to speak English and if patrons lend a smile first and be courteous; wonders happen.
The portion of food can sometimes be smaller than other times, we are not sure why. So perhaps consistency could be worked on. We have brought many visitors and friends to this place as we continue to support our local businesses.

The Yum Cha service runs from 9am to 4pm on a Saturday, I work till 2pm so we booked a table for 2:20pm, we got there as a party of 4 people and the place was packed, for the first 10 minutes they came around with about 20 different dishes on offer, which is what Yum Cha is supposed to be like, But then, withing about 10 minutes the majority of the tables emptied out and by 2:40 there were only 4 tables with people still eating, including us who only got there at 2:20.
By 2:50 they stopped bringing food around and they started cleaning the restaurant all around us, Manageress fighting with her poor staff in Mandarin, shouting from one side of the place at someone on the other side..
Staff all over the place pulling table cloths off tables, literally bumping into us as they do it!!
By 3pm when we realized that we were not going to be seeing any more food come around, I called on the Rude, Loud, Aggressive Manageress and asked her when they will be bringing more food around, and she simply said, no more food will be brought around and that if we wanted to eat anymore we had to order off the menu!!
All four of us were still hungry, but we decided to leave because the experience with the staff cleaning and chatting and making a racket all around us was just Crap! The other 3 tables also left at this time.
VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE, we will never be back!

I found this place on my first night in Auckland and then booked reservations for every dinner in NZ because the menu was so captivating, creative with carefully handled quality ingredients I needed days to work down the menu. Waiter Melvin was so genuinely invested in creating an incredible experience for his patrons, some credit must go to manager Sag for nurturing his team. So much potential. Some great items, some not so. We dined at 7.30pm and by that time we were told only one variety of dumpling was available as they were sold out. No crayfish either. Spring rolls were extremely oily, tuna tartare however was delicious. Paid $46 for a tiny shred of scampi which was yummy but not worth the price. Service is attentive.
Food wise I have ordered prawn dumplings, prawn and chives dumplings, Siu mai, fried eggplant, 1/4 roast duck, prawn toast and duck wonton.
fried eggplant is the surprise winner: it is light and airy which is excellent.
Dumplings and wonton: very good as you can tell it's ingredients are very good and proper technique.
Roast duck: the duck roasts very well, though possibly because the restaurant is targeting non-asians so other than the leg have bones, other bits are boneless but then the dish is smaller than the regular 1/4 duck in regular restaurant.
The weakest dish is the prawn toast: regular prawn toast uses a toast underneath with prawn paste on top. Canting possibly thinks customers like bao buns so it uses deep fried bao buns instead of a regular toast. To me that did not work and that is the only dish I did not enjoy.
Overall it establishes itself as a premium Chinese restaurant but it will be a hard ask to lure Chinese customers over as it is easily 50% more expensive than other traditional premium Chinese restaurant. Also their yum cha menu is very limited so even I like their food, it is difficult for me to return as I already ordered everything I like.

I tried out this new restaurant in commercial Bay, Canting, on January 14th 2025...It just opened up and it's another fantastic establishment by Nic Watt himself. We tried a little of everything and have to say that there was not one dish that disappointed. Every dish was bursting with flavours and genuinely was delicious. If you are looking for a quality dining experience, food, service and atmosphere, Canting is the place to be. Beautiful view onto the water front and the restaurant itself is quite stunning. Great for birthdays, Chinese New years coming up on the 29th or a nice date or just with work mates. Highly recommend and we will be back for sure. The photos I have added give it no justice compared to the savours and authenticity of these dishes. I'd give it a 10 out of 10 if I could. Great work to the team!!!

Sadly I'm shattered that this is a restaurant located in one of New Zealand's popular tourist places Skycity they are friendly and professional but their service is poor. Had too many problems with their food from the chicken being under cooked to running out of crispy pork and running out of RICE, all these dishes we got served looked like it didn't get cooked on time because when it got to us it was not even warm ,so not worth the money we paid, I'm most definitely not going to recommend coming here nor am I ever going to dine at jade dragon unless they work on getting the problem fixed. I don't even want to rate a single star.

Food is appalling. We ordered dim sum as entree and we were shocked to see a supposedly high end restaurant in SkyCity serving dim sum that are of the same quality as those we can get frozen from supermarkets. For mains, we ordered Kong Po chicken which was nothing more than a gluey mess of tenderised chcken with lots of sauce. There was a generous topping of cashew nuts but they were not even toasted or fried. The other main was fried tofu which was overcooked. Very disappointing.
