Got seated promptly and food arrived hot and fast. Service was excellent. Food is AMAZING!!!! I don’t even eat wings and I ate these. The flavor was to die for. Turkey was very lean and moist. Ate every bit of it. Baked beans hubby had were the first thing he ate. Cannot go wrong trying this place out. Price is excellent for the portion sizes you get. Beer was so so good. First of all, our waitress Myka was amazing! We started by ordering a handful of the "Best Wings Ever," the name is 100% accurate. Even my husband who is kind of snobby 😂 when it comes to wings said they are the best he's ever had. I had the Blushie to drink, which was as fun and yummy as it sounds. It's a bourbon slushie. He had Momma's Old Fashioned which was made with Old Forester Bourbon which is local to the area. For our meal we ordered the Pulled Pork Nachos and the Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese, green beans and cheesy corn for the side. We split both meals and they were both delicious. The servings are large and sadly we weren't able to finish the nachos but boy were they good. We aren't local but if we ever come back we will order the wings and split the nachos, and we'd probably still be stuffed. The service was extremely fast, we didn't wait long at all to get our food after ordering. The restaurant itself has a mom/pop feel inside and is very casual. The parking is a bit different, but follow the signs, it’s in the back of the building.

So I HAD to try a Triple D joint while in Louisville! First of all, everything was very good. I would say the star was the wings. Dry rubbed, smoked, and then fried-they had a very good flavor and were not dried out. They were unbreaded, so for some, they may find the skin "rubbery," but I found them very good. If you needed a sauce, the three sauces at the table all were a tasty topping for the wings. The vinegar bbq sauce was very flavorful, and the "hot" had a very nice back-end heat. I had a pulled pork slider, and a hot sausage slider, and really enjoyed the hot sausage. My friend had a fried bologna sandwich which he found "okay", granted we are from IL so that is not a staple in our parts. The cornbread was good, and the homemade pickles(not fried) I found delicious. The only minor disappointment was the baked beans. I was stoked for some homemade baked beans, and they were good but not what I was hoping for. Would I go back? Absolutely! We enjoyed our dinner and would definitely recommend you give them a visit.

We are from Saint Louis, MO and came to eat at this restaurant while in Louisville during a work gig based off of a Google recommendation that this was a safe place to eat for someone with celiacs. Daniel was our server and is an absolute delight! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and has a gluten-free menu ready to show, but 80% of their menu is already gluten-free. The fusion recipes are amazing while still holding true to authentic flavors and this restaurant is the reason why I will be coming back to Louisville for my own personal pleasures. I hope one day they will grow large enough as a company to setup shop in my city!

Visiting from outta town and read in a couple forums that this place is the place to go for fried chicken, and I agree. Top 5 best fried chicken I’ve ever had. It is drive thru only, and the inside is only open for DoorDash and pick up. Staff was nice.
Ordered the 2 piece plate that came with 3 potato wedges and roll, 10 piece hot honey wings, small side of Mac n cheese, and small side of collard greens. The sides were okay, but the chicken was on point. The collard greens were a little bitter, and the Mac n cheese was good, but not amazing. Also ordered a side of corn bread. It was a little too soft for my liking, but delicious nonetheless the less.

We got a 8 piece box of regular and spicy. The regular was fresh and quite tasty. Good flavor and nicely fried. The spicy I didn’t like too much but still decent. I had heard great things about the dry rub wings here so I decided to give it a go. The person who answered the phone was a bit rude. There were multiple items we were wanting to order that were either sold out (it was 7pm) or no longer offered. We ended up ordering dry rub cajun wings, jalapeño poppers and a quesadilla. The only thing that got finished was the quesadilla, which was nothing special but it was decent. The wings were horribly over cooked and dry. The jalapeño poppers were chewy and tasted old. The 1st time I went there, it was with a group of friends, and I thought it was going to be a sports bar style place. I was pleasantly surprised!

I was very excited to try Four Pegs and had heard many great things about them; however my experience was lack luster at best. The appetizer me and my partner got was the chili cheese fries, they were delicious; fresh, hot, cheesy, yummy. The entree I got was the burrito and my partner got the wings. The wings seemed to be good, they were a good size too. I did not get to really test my burrito to it's fullest as 2 bites in I noticed a hair in the chili. The staff was very good about removing it from my bill and offering me something else, but my appetite was ruined. Now moving on to the staff, the host was a lovely woman, she was so warm and her smile was very welcoming. My waitress however came across very cold and "put out" because we were asking questions. With it being my first time I was inquiring how many wings came in an order (as it is not states on the menu) and she said the answer in a tone that screamed "you dont know this?". Over all, it was not the best experience for a first time visitor. I dont know if I will be back anytime soon but I would like to give the place another chance.

We came in for food late 10:30) and we're so excited that not only were they open, but it was the best meal we had all weekend!
We sat at the bar and chatted with a hilarious and attentive bartender. We split cauliflower bites and they were SPICY and delicious! The chips on top were a great touch.
My boyfriend had a brisket hot dog pretzel beer cheese concoction. He never finishes his food, but he cleaned his plate! He got a side of tots and BBQ sauce that was so good. I had the jackfruit sandwich. Let me tell you if you are vegan/vegetarian OMG you have come to the right place! It was HUGE and liked just like pulled pork. It was smokey saucy and I could drive back just for that.
The atmosphere was great, staff were awesome, and they make a mean Manhattan!

Went with my husband for dinner last night. The food did not disappoint! We got the Nachos as an appetizer, the Peg sampler and the tots as our main course. All the meat was smokey and juicy. The wings and tots are why we will return!
The service was lack luster. I personally appreciate the dive bar, small batch beer, and bourbon selection. However, if that's what you are going for, you have to have wait staff that is knowledgeable of the selection or you are missing sales at every single table. My husband is more of a traditional jack and coke/ultra kind of guy and our server missed the mark when he ordered said jack and coke. She went to the bar to put her order in and just came back and said we don't have jack and did not even offer him a suggestion on something similar. So he said Ultra she goes to bar and comes back and just says we don't carry that, again does not even offer a suggestion for him to try. He ends up just ordering a Dr pepper. I got a berry cider that was delicious and will be stocking up at home.
There was another set of Guests that were first timers as well sitting beside us. They got similar service.
All the potential in the world is there to reel in repeat customers, but it is getting lost on lack luster service.
Like I said the wings and tots will bring us back eventually, but with better service this could have been a regular spot for us.

Rubbies is a hidden precious gem of a restaurant. The atmosphere of dining room and the food is fantastic. I came specifically for the hot brown based on previous reviews and location south of the city. Tried the seasoned fries as an appetizer; the herb combination was an interesting bitter flavor helped by no salt and perfectly crisp fries.
The feature hot brown was everything described by others; a true flavor trip between savory turkey, rich, salty, and a blanket of hot cheese. Overall I rate the perimeter to be 10/10 and the center 7/10. The hotter areas had stronger flavor and the almost warm turkey center could have been a ten too. Being the first time enjoying hot brown, is this the norm?
In addition, a Skookie was planned from the start. In short this was the best cookie dessert I've ever eaten (many) for all its gooey chip-rich center and Quality ice cream. Every spoonful was a prize.
The front room was full; we sat in the back room with a couple other groups. Since much is fresh baked, overall time approaches two hours. We were not rushing, rather savoring the experience. We did recommend Rubbies to many others already. I will return.

This review is from a visit about some weeks ago, but it angered me so much that when I saw the picture again I had to review.
Came maybe about an hour before closing. Woman with black hair at the bar was super nice and provided excellent service. Ordered a brisket sandwich and bacon and cheddar fries to go. The chef was a darker skinned man who I guess was fairly new from what information I heard.
Brisket sandwich was excellent, no complaints there. The issue, and it was a glaring one, was the bacon and cheddar fries. As seen in the picture, these fries were dry and overcooked and a regular person wouldn't even feed their dog this crap.
I can't lie, I was upset (and still hungry) but given the time it was too late to go back. Due to my schedule it's hard for me to go back to that part of town; I only stopped there because I had to time to drive because I was off from work the next day.
I paid my money and gave a tip too. I deserve to get a fair meal for the money I paid. I will not be going back to this establishment and I would not recommend anybody else does either.

Excellent food. Stopped here traveling to see a friend and had the Texas Club brisket sandwich it was amazing. Friend had a rib eye steak it was cooked perfectly with huge portioned side dishes. The wings were delicious and juicy, but I was disappointed with some of the sauces. The Nashville hot dry rub was not very hot for how high it was on the menu. Six forks is one of those proud, local places you just need to try.
We got to try a little bit of everything, including the green beans, corn, fries, onion rings, two different burgers, and of course some slushies.
The slushies and burgers were the definite stars. It reminded me of a good diner type burger, with lots of choices and good flavor. It wasn't too wild, just a decent burger. The slushies were a little sweeter than some (I prefer that anyway), and were really, really good.
For sides, cheese fries were huge and a solid side choice. Onion rings were nothing special, but not bad (I liked them). Green beans were a bit of disappointment for me, but my fiance liked the cast iron ones enough to take them home. Corn wasn't bad, but just not our top choice.
Service was OK, staff was extremely friendly!

Went here around 3:45 pm on a Friday. I was disappointed. The floors were super sticky. The tables were dirty and the fountain drink dispenser was spilling over. The high chair for my two year old was dirty and sticky as well. The fries and waffle biscuit were good. I didn't care for the chicken. Order was completely wrong. Short items, wrong or missing side orders. I LOVE WINGS, with that being said the wings here are great, the drip I chose was lemon pepper hot. It was hot but not really Lemon pepper. But that is the ONLY complaint. I was picking up an order for Door Dash. First off the lobby was closed. I can live with that. So I had to go through the drive-thru to pick up the order. No problem. I get up to the window to collect the order and of course they want me to verify the pickup before I drive off. All standard stuff. To confirm, I have to take a picture of the receipt first then confirm that I am picking up the right order, then confirm the pickup. I am just being handed the food and getting ready to take the picture when one of the ladies working inside yells “just tell him to confirm and move on.” Ma’am, there is a process that I have to go through that just takes a few seconds. Majority of the time I have to make deliveries from this location the staff is typically rude. They ignore you, then act like it is an inconvenience to hand you a bag. I don’t pester them like some drivers do because I understand that sometimes they are busy so I patiently wait, but don’t have an attitude with me when I am being friendly with you.

Bad is the best description. I ordered at order terminals in the lobby. Customers were upset and arguing with staff about the wait. After 30 minutes I attempted to talk to a worker. They simply ignored me so I left. I attempted to call the following day three times and no answer. I called KFC customer support.... they said they could not get me a refund or vouchers because of the stores ownership. I think Colonel Sanders is rolling over in his grave at Cave Hill Cemetery. I’m SO disappointed to write this. I’m 100% a large Hooters supporter but everything at this location has gone to crap. Long story short, sat around the bar area with Nora. Unfortunately, the table of 5 gents had drinks and shrimp appetizers before I even got a drink. 2 other tables of 2, literally ate and left before we got our food. Food comes out, and it’s wrong. Ordered all drums.

Happy to find them open on Christmas evening. Considering how busy, seated quickly, got drinks and appetizers in timely fashion. Knew they were running behind on orders, so expected an hour wait. After seeing multiple people after us getting food, we inquired about ours. Waitress came back and told us our order accidentally went out on delivery. The burger was good, the fries were good, the fried pickles were everything I remembered them being. Ordered online and website defaulted to KY when I meant to order in NC. As soon as I realized what happened I called and asked them to cancel it. I was told twice that I have to call corporate to get a refund. I tried to contact corporate and was told that all hooters stores are directly responsible for order changes or refunds. I call back just to be told the same thing and I was told to hold on the line for the manager. I was left on hold for almost 15 minutes they were probably trying to get me to hang up and I did. We were visiting Louisville and ate here after finding it on Maps. We loved it and would go back, seemed like a warm place with lots of regulars. Kid friendly, large portions and very good food! I was in a group of 8. 4 adults 4 children. I had the 4 piece chicken strips w/ side salad. It was just under $12 but was up charged $5 to upgrade my side to the premium side of the side salad. My strips came out warm not hot. They were dry. I barely ate one an had to drown it in sauce. When my salad finally came about 5 minutes later it had a long hair weaved through it. So it must have gotten in the mix when they prepped salad for the shift. I returned it to my server whom seemed embarrassed an took it away. She then returned to just ask me if I would like another one free of charge. Management never came out. They didn’t bring the lettuce or tomato or for another person’s sliders an when asked to bring them they returned with diced salad tomatoes and chopped lettuce from the salad bin. The only thing that was good about this location was the sauces. Don’t waste your time going to this location. We won’t be back.

We went here to eat. It's a sports bar & a great atmosphere for that but very loud and hard back chairs, no booths. It was very hot & humid outside but nice & cool here. We had a hard time finding a clean table and ended up sitting at a dirty table. The back of my top was sticking to the chair & there was wet spots and sticky stuff on the table tops. We were there over an hour and the place was packed & I never saw any one wipe a table down. Our stomachs were burning after 2 bites and couldn't get the taste out of our mouths. They replaced it with a to go order of chicken tenders and they were over cooked, dry and hard to eat. We could only eat 1 & I only ate it for the protein. Over all, it was a bad experience, we won't be going back. The server was friendly and attentive, no problems there

Awesome place to catch a game or just eat or have a few drinks. Courtney was our amazing waitress and kept our drinks coming. Beer is cold. Food specials were great price and actually tasted better than the reg menu options. Club is good too but I do not recommend the burgers. We are Haitians who
enjoy traveling, and every time we go somewhere, we look for a Haitian restaurant to try out and support. So far, in the last 3 months of our traveling, this has been an amazing experience. Their food tast very healthy and they have a nice selection 👌. My only thing i say they need to have Haitian pate. I was disappointed that ya'll didn't, but everything else was good. My husband loves the cabrit fri.
If you're in Louisville, you must must go try it out for yourself. Also they have good servings and lots of meat.
I didn't like how all the employees were always on their phone, and when serving us the food at the table, they were talking and laughing on the phone with someone while serving us. That was so rude. My biggest advice is to please have better customer service.

Great food with unique items. Something for everyone. Tried the jerk wings and the shrimp tacos. Had sides of rice/beans, cabbage, and plantains. Everything was very good and large portions. The service was good and very helpful as it was our first time. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. Also there were tons of to go orders while we were there. Seems like a ver popular place. I recommend if you're looking for a new place to try.

Don’t walk, run here!!!!! The food is absolutely fabulous. The rice is full of flavor, the fried pork is fresh, juicy, and has a nice variation of meat and fat, and omg, the Macaroni!! It’s not shown in this picture because I ordered it to go, but, it’s to die for! It’s cheesy and full of flavor.
The food tastes very authentic!! I’ll choose this over my mom’s any day! (Sorry mom)
Ps. This was my first time coming here, so I wasn’t sure on what to get. The owner was very patient with me, and even gave me information on what’s popular. Love her for that.

We were searching for Jamaican and Google directed us here. Disclaimer, it's not , it's Haitian so similar. We had the curried goat and Oxtail with rice and beans. If you know what curried goat is suppose to taste like then you will not like this at all. Was very watery and more seasoned and to be cooked longer. The oxtail was okay , the best thing was the rice and beans and the fried plantains.

Bottom line... the food was disgusting! I had fried tilapia, rice and beans, cabbage, and plaintain. The rice and beans had a burnt taste, like they were scraped from the bottom of the pot. The fried tilapia had a weird taste. I have no words for the plantain. It was like a patty, first of all, and it was tasteless!!! I have NEVER gone to a Caribbean spot and did not like the food...EVER! Do NOT recommend this place.
