We arrived around 10am and it was extremely busy. We were able to eat in, there were 4 of us but luckily, managed to get two tables for two close to eachother. We had the Irish breakfast but while we were waiting my partner had a raspberry and white chocolate muffin as they had just come out the oven, it was delicious! Giving 5 stars seems over the top ... usually. But it really is that good. Every member of the staff is polite and friendly. They engage in a way that truly communicates care for your experience. We stayed 2 nights over the weekend, explored the country during the week and returned for one night before returning home. On our final one night stay, they graciously moved us up to a suite to make our last night in the country extra special. Both rooms were extremely clean, comfortable and well-appointed. We had everything we could need. If I had one minor complaint, I'd say the rooms felt too warm at night. When we arrived, there was a cute little plate of deserts and a hand written note to welcome us. Super nice touch. Coming back to the room each night, there were chocolates and bottles of water. We had breakfast every morning. The coffee, juices and food were delicious. The bar area and restaurant are clean and attractive. We enjoyed chatting with the bar tender on one evening. The location of the Dylan is nearly perfect. It's clean and very safe. There are some restaurants round the corner. It's about a 20-30 minute walk to the downtown area. We never felt unsafe walking. I might feel unsafe after dark in some areas of the city. Some of the city was less than clean, making this little area extra special. It was absolutely the nicest part of the city that we saw. The hotel itself is fantastic; the staff is great. The attention to detail is great. The turndown service is great. The breakfast is great. My biggest problem (and it was big) is that there are some rooms in the hotel (we were in one) where you cant escape the loud music from the pubs/clubs below. If you stay on a weekend then definitely make sure to ask if you can get a quieter room. Additionally, there was quite a bit of construction going on around our room and we constantly heard sawing noises. I would stay here again because the location is perfect and the staff is amazing, but I would definitely make sure I wasn't facing the same street that I did on this trip.

Ordered the summer 3 courses set which is great value for money regarding the atmosphere, quality of food and exceptional service. We were served by Andy last night, he is a star! The restaurant was obviously packed and with limited manpower, he was still able to maintain an exceptionally high standard of service not only to us and I could also see how he interacted with other customers too. It also helps that I'm a big fan of tapas! First, I think the venue looks great! It may seem a little dark for some, but for me I think it adds to a great atmosphere. Yes, it was "good", but it almost felt like cheap party food or something knocked up for a cheap hotel buffet rather than top-quality restaurant tapas and ingredients. You wouldn't complain but neither are you wowed either. I don't think "okay" is good enough when dining out. You expect more, and if I were a Spaniard, I'd be even more disappointed (and judging from other reviews, that certainly appears to be the case). Would I come back? The cafe always very busy and true enough, it was busy again. The servers were all very prompt and friendly eventhough they were swamped with work. Tasty overall though in the end one customer seated next to me pointed out the mold on a side of one of the sodabread slices. The server was apologetic and offered another slice of bread. When my food came I got beans 1 rasher and 1 sasagues. I grabbed the lady's attention in which she grabbed my plate and hurried away ,not even apologising for the confusion . To which I got 1 sausage. That's not what bothered me at all. What bothered me is the way the lady looked at me with disgust and made me feel horrible. Also my rasher was gone off . I will NOT be returning to this place . It used to be one of my favourite places, But this is NOT the first time this kind of thing has happened here. 😕

September 2025 Back in September 2024 we started our search for the perfect wedding venue in our hometown of Dublin. Our second venue on the list was House Dublin. A couple of months before we were invited for a tasting session where we would sample menus. We had the pleasure of meeting Neil and the incredible dining and bar staff who welcomed us and made us feel very much at home. The food was far beyond anything we could have anticipated, this was one serious foody extravaganza. We were served the most incredible dishes, every one of them a unique taste experience. Our excitement was heightened only by the incredible service we received from the most friendly team. The quality of the dishes were astounding, and considering the price points we were looking at for our wedding day, this completely blew us away! I cannot stress enough how good this food was. We were looking at about 150 guests, so making this a meal to remember was no small undertaking. The scene was set for the wedding of the decade!!! As plans progressed and we got closer to our big day, Nichola and all the team rallied around us to ensure no details were left to chance. Our vision for our ceremony and various musicians and bands came together seamlessly and nothing was too much trouble to accommodate. We opted to check in the evening before the celebration, and stayed a few extra nights also. From the time we moved in, and it really did feel like we moved in lol, we felt at home and were welcomed by all staff members. We felt very spoiled indeed. The support given to align a very large seating area to accommodate our guests and the tablescapes were simply beautiful. Our vendors were supported and House Staff ensured everything was in place. Our first viewing of the fully decorated venue was breathtaking and the day got better and better. The friendly smiles greeted us and our guests, drinks, canapés quickly followed. The dinner service was impeccable, everyone worked so hard to ensure guests were seated efficiently to commence. There was a real party atmosphere and the smiles and chatter of both guests and staff was heartwarming. And then the food, just WOW!!!!! It was simply divine. Every option, the most incredible flavours, everyone was blown away. This was truly the best. I cannot stress enough how impressed our guests were. But it doesn’t end there, we dined like kings, we danced the night away, enjoyed the bar immensely of course. We were treated to the most spectacular experience by absolutely every member of staff. And still it doesn’t end there, the next day we enjoyed superb breakfasts, gorgeous chats and laughs with all the staff and as we were also staying another night after we were made feel right at home. They are more than friendly and efficient, they go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. It was great we could pick our favourite beer option for it. The afternoon tea was very nice and filling for the cost of it. This was the final hotel we stayed at (of 10) on our trip. Easily top 3. First, there is a designated place out front to leave your car as you check in and unload your luggage. Then the car park (additional but discounted cost) is a single block up the road, very convenient for a downtown hotel. The front desk staff were very polite and welcoming. We were upgraded for a small (but absolutely worth it) fee to a spacious suite. The view was obstructed by scaffolding as they are in the process of expanding the hotel but it didn't bother us as we were not in the room during the day much. Beds were comfortable, the AC was nice, and the bathroom/shower was great. My one gripe - the TVs only had basic cable. No streaming or casting capabilities (shocking for a 5-star hotel). Location is perfect. So walkable to many downtown attractions, bars, restaurants, etc. Breakfast was very good, staff were hustling and very attentive. Hotel overall is very modern and chic while still being super cozy. We really enjoyed our stay here and would absolutely return.

My room was great and had plenty of plug sockets - the banquette seat was also super comfortable and you could fall asleep on it! I liked how they added wall art from a song by The Saw Doctors on the wall, to give it a real Irish flare. The bathroom was also great - good quality toileteries were provided with the choice of a bath and standalone shower. My only issue with the room was the noise. There appears to be some kind of built-in ventilation system in the bathroom, likely due to the lack of opening windows, and it seems to be connected to the air conditioning. Unfortunately, it couldn't be turned off and was constantly running, so that noise was always there. As a light sleeper, I found this quite disruptive and ended up requesting a room change. The suite which I was moved into for the final morning of my stay was amazing, it had extra facilities including a Nespresso coffee machine and was stunning, the ventilation was placed right in the shower though so it could get pretty noisy in the bathroom. While I appreciated Breakfast being offered until noon during weekends, I was disappointed with the buffet, which was a really small selection. They did have some dishes which could be ordered with the team, but I prefer a larger buffet section. The iced tea also tasted heavily watered down, and I didn't end up getting up for breakfast after the first day of my stay. The staff at the hotel were really friendly, most notably the Assistant Night Manager, Kavraj who was such a friendly and cool guy. The public areas of the hotel felt comfortable, safe and luxurious, including the lobby and bar, where I went for drinks every night and had a really good Whiskey Sour. Overall, this is a nice hotel with great staff and a great location, I would certainly consider staying here again if the issues with the noise were sorted.

Bathroom was large (I was given the accessibility room). Everything was clean and newish. The windows are locked - can't get any fresh air. Breakfast was basic. The room does not have a fridge but you can ask the reception to put your food there. Staff were friendly and helpful. The price is expensive but it's similar to all the hotels in the area. On my second night there was no hot water, reception said they were working on a fix, hopefully by the morning it'd be resolved. Unfortunately it wasn't the case and I showered with cold water. Very excited to experience this and the set up and food were absolutely fabulous 🤩. Our party spent a lot of money in a very short time. However, the experience was overshadowed by the fact that the staff, from the minute we walked in told us we had a two hour slot, which we accepted totally but then proceeded to (no other way to phrase it) harass us stating when it was time to order the food to rushing us at the end, to the extent that the feeling was very uncomfortable. One of our ladies didn't receive her already paid for coffee and felt it was too late to ask for it again. A real shame as I would advocate the venue and delicious food but staff need how to approach customers, one or two gentle reminders are fine but not full on demanding from the minute we say down. We left, on time, made no fuss, but I would think twice about returning.
